Sheetz is usually our go-to gas station while traveling. We stopped at this location -- for gas and to refill our reusable Sheetz coffee mugs -- while returning from a trip to Pennsylvania. We had also planned to drink the coffees at one of the tables in the shop --to stretch out from our drive. The location is in an area which can best be described as congested. There's a lot of traffic from shopping centers and residential areas at the nearby four-way traffic light. Once at the Sheetz, it's also crowded in the immediate vicinity with traffic going and parking for both Sheetz and a McDonald's. Once inside, we found that coffee refills were more expensive than they had been in Pennsylvania. Worse, the shop was very small, and didn't have an area in which to sit. Restroom was clean. Upon leaving, and after filling our gas tank, we noticed that the older Exxon station across the street had cheaper gas ($3.54 vs. $3.51/gallon, late March, 2024). One positive point. This was such the odd Sheetz location to visit. I think I might be overstating this, but it felt very congested in the area. It didn't hurt that, food wise, they had competition right next door, and almost sharing of lot depending on how you look at it. The Sheetz, from the fuel standpoint, was reasonable. Enough fuel pumps to accommodate an influx of vehicles. As far as the convenience portion of this, they delivered as well. Although not the biggest of locations, and by the looks of it, they did an update of this location, but not a rebuild. Same old building, but with a newer looking awning. For the food, you know they were pumping it out as fast as they could. I'm sure they wish they could do a rebuild here so that they could offer drive thru. I do not remember seeing one here. If they had a drive thru they would be better situated to compete with a neighbor. read more

First time at this location, ordered fried Oreos a d new hibiscus sparkling drink , waited 10 mins. There was nit a long line , only one guy before me. The handed me the drink and it spilled on the counter too. He apologized as he walked off. DRINK REVIEW: not good, very carbonated, and like a watery sonic strawberry limeade. Took my 3 year old in the bathroom and there was no toilet paper. Checked the other stall and there was none there either. Each stall holds 4 rolls of toilet paper and all 8 were empty. One toilet was clogged and there was trash all over the floor. There were also no paper towels. It was absolutely disgusting! read more

EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA ON THE BATHROOM WALLS! By far the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen at a Sheetz! They also had no TP! My guess is the area is just pretty trashy as I went next door to the fast food place and their bathroom room was just as bad. I walked out of both and would rather place my butt over the side of a guardrail on the side of the road and use the blue paper towels used to check your oil than to ever set foot in this location again. read more

I'll start this review by mentioning I'm a big Sheetz fan. It's existence makes those long road trips through Pennsylvania seem more bearable. I'm a big fan of their MTO menu and brewed coffee and I love such little things as their mini-cinnamon rolls and their canned lite iced coffee. However, I must dock a star for a couple of reasons. 1: A lot of the little things I mentioned were lacking the last time I stopped in. Limited selection of ground/whole bean coffee to buy and take home. None of said cinnamon rolls or iced coffee. Other things missing and all. It was a little disappointing to see even when my previous trip there had all of the above. 2: Getting in and out of this Sheetz can be a bit of an ordeal given the stereotypical suburban sprawl that is Leesburg. Be prepared to weave across lanes of traffic unless you're coming from downtown Leesburg. It's worth it for the relatively cheap gas and good food. That aside, this still is a Sheetz and Sheetz still is a wonderful place. It makes a good add-on to trips to the outlets down the street. read more

AMAZING experience! Didn't get the names of the employees but we had someone get sick all over their bathroom & the staff was SO accommodating and helpful! Two women were helping clean the bathroom & got us a bucket to take in the car with us. During this time of Covid it was so amazing that these employees cleaned up a nasty mess while being so kind and helpful. Forgot the guy's name but there is an older man who works the register and is hilarious. He rings you up and then says some ridiculous total that is nowhere near the correct price as a joke to see if you're paying attention. Every place sound have someone like him. As far as Sheetz goes, very convenient to use the app if you're ordering food. Just go in to the register and pay and leave. Rewards card gives you bonuses plus 3 cents off at the gas pump. read more

I love Sheetz. Trust me, it would be a cold night in Hell before I feel like I would be better off at Exxon (which I hate but is just across the street) than at Sheetz. As far as this location is concerned, there have been a lot of cold nights in Hell. The food tastes fine but quantities are inconsistent. Case in point: if you order the bucket of onion rings with the "boom boom" sauce, you're rolling the dice on whether they top off your bucket with rings and put the sauce on the side, or if they only partially fill the bucket and put the sauce containers on top. Sheetz loves to tout its great prices on food, but breakfast surprisingly costs Texa$, which doesn't make sense since they are competing with McDonald's next door. Which brings me to my next point. The physical location just sucks. In order to access said McDonald's, customers have to come in via congested intersection and literally drive across the Sheetz property, which is annoying for customers of either property. As for the gas station itself, I come here often in the morning to fill up on my way to work. It is my personal policy to obtain a receipt for anything which I buy using a card, and I can say with full confidence that the majority of times I've been here (to refresh, that means more than half) every time I've pressed for a receipt it either attempted to print and failed, or it instructed me to get a receipt from the cashier inside. Correctly if I'm wrong, but to me this completely defeats the intended convenience of paying at the pump. And although this is a running theme at many NoVa gas stations, it is not uncommon to have multiple pumps out of service at a time. I'm not a morning person to begin with, I hate my 35 mile commute, and having to play "musical gas pumps" at 6:15 in the morning does not help make for a great start to the day. read more

How can your kiosks allow ordering of smoothies but be out of everything except strawberries and tell the customer to order just a strawberry smoothie...when that is not an option on the kiosk? On top of that, the custom order menu did not allow me to create a custom smoothie which is when this fiasco began. Finally, how do they mess up and cancel an order of pizza? Then 2 food preparers asked what we were waiting on: pizza. Only one, 5 minutes later, made it. Total wait time: 23 minutes. Crazy. read more

Great sheetz, the customer service by their cashiers is amazing. Only problem I always have is the guys who make your food. Slow, sloppy, forgetful. So far the foods been cold and very sloppy and for some reason they always forget to give you the dippers you requested. I'd still stop by to get snacks/gas but won't be ordering food anytime soon. read more

The supervisor or "manager" as she claimed to be by the name of MARY ANN, would not sell me a lighter even though I showed ID showing I was over the age of 18. She was rude and didn't even deny she was being racist because of my brown skin color when I asked. She should be fired, the way she speaks to her customers is absolutely shocking! read more
