ABSOLUTELY MUST TRY: My friends and I had such an amazing experience at this tea house! We booked a tea tasting, and it completely exceeded our expectations. We were served over 30 servings of tea, which made it feel like such a unique and immersive experience. Cody, our tea expert, truly made the visit unforgettable. He walked us through the history behind the teas and explained everything in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. You can tell he's incredibly knowledgeable, but also genuinely kind and a bit goofy as well. For the price, this experience is honestly INCREDIBLE. It felt so special and thoughtfully put together, and we left feeling very lucky to have been able to do something like this. The value is more than reasonable for everything you get. Place is also very cute and clean. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for something different, fun, and memorable. We'll definitely be back!

We booked the matcha lab experience at Seven TeaHouse. The owner provided an informative description about matcha and its history as well as how to make the drink. We then got to taste 2 types of matcha powders. After that, he created a few matcha drinks for us to try. It was a great learning experience while tasting premium matcha. We tried some samples of their other award-winning teas afterwards and had to buy a couple because they were so good!

Would give this hidden gem more than 5 stars if I could. Absolutely worth the long drive for me and possibly one of the best matcha drinks I've had in the NOVA/DMV area- it's not all sugary syrup and you actually taste the matcha. Clean, inviting interior with incredibly friendly staff. You can taste the quality and care put into their teas. The second I tried my Pink Rose Lychee Matcha, I knew I had to buy some tea bags to try. Got a bunch to try- some favorites and some outside my comfort zone. Great place for tea exploration, grabbing drinks, and meeting others who love tea as well! I plan to come back for their popular Matcha Lab!

We went for the tea tasting experience, and it was amazing! The staff was very friendly and informative. I really got to understand and experience all the different tea types. We also got to sample a lot of the different offerings they have as well which was very helpful. Overall 10/10 I would come back here to order their high quality tea or tea equipment!

We celebrated my friends birthday by doing the tea omakase. And WOW the whole experience was eye-opening and fascinating as I learned about the origins of the 6 types of tea and how cheap tea is actually just gross and filled w fragrant oils. Trying all the teas here were amazing and each one was so unique and different. 10/10! Totally recommend :)

We are able to book a matcha tasting for 7 of us on the whim! Thank you Cody. What an amazing experience. Very informative for sure. It really shows he cares for his craft. We will are now waiting for the new location to try the tea tasting next! Some of us purchased some tea boxes just because they smelled so good.

If you like tea at all, or want to like tea, you need to check this place out. I've been a few times to get drinks, but this weekend my friend and I did a tea tasting. It was a great experience. You book the tea tasting online, and I'd recommend looking into it early since they only have 4 people do a tasting at a time. Cody was the one guiding us through the tasting, and he did a great job. The tea tasting was scheduled for an hour, but we were there closer to an hour and a half. We got to try 5 main teas, and he gave us a breakdown about each tea. He also had us try other teas, like some tea lattes. You also get to take a tea to go. I took the red date pu'erh to go, because it is one of the best teas that I've tried. This place is great if you want a tea tasting, or just a cup of tea.

My first visit was a month ago and the young lady at the counter was so kind and welcoming. She provided my daughter and I with so much info about the teas offered. Her recommendation was the holiday surprise gift set and I literally came back weeks later to get it and she was there to greet me with her smiling face. The same day I tried the pineapple hibiscus herbal blend cold tea...It was refreshing and delicious and now I'm planning my next visit. I was also pleased to know that they offer tea tastings. Love the aesthetic, the vibe is warm and welcoming and they have pastries! You owe it to yourself to try this super cute tea house

My favorite teahouse! Consistently good and refreshing, always coming back to buy more tea and trying their different drinks! Also, they sell one of the best matchas in NOVA in my opinion, and I've tried many. People may say their tea is pricey, but certainly well worth it (as they are award winning), and supporting local is always a win. Their staff is always very nice and knowledgeable about their teas. And if you want to try their teas before purchasing, they usually have samples out for anyone to try! Their tea tasting experience (hosted for a foodie collab) is really neat - you get to really dive into the history and deets of each tea you try, abr love how interactive and intimate the experience is.

Had been dying to go here, and today was the day!! What a fun and unique little tea shop. Stopped by with my sister and my friend. We all ordered something different. My friend opted for the RosE Lychee and said it was okay, she didn't really taste the Rose. I enjoyed my strawberry matcha and found it aesthetically pleasing (same with the blueberry). The shop offers samples, was very clean, and the staff was friendly. I do wish they had more pastry options, they only had cakes and croissants for our visit.

Wow! What an experience! My friends know that I love tea--especially good tea--and they invited me to Seven TeaHouse for an afternoon tea tasting. Their website describes the 5-course tea menu as "4 Selected Rare Teas, 1 Seasonal Specialty Drink, 1 Dessert." However, what we ended up getting was above and beyond. Abby guided us through the main teas featured on the menu, but rather than asking us to choose one or the other, we got to try every tea and even several from their regular menu. She walked us through getting the most of our tasting from the flavor notes to the unique sensations of each tea. She even boiled some grapes at the start to provide a "broth" for a white tea to close out the experience. There's absolutely nothing artificial about anything in these teas, and you can see and taste the complexities of each quality brew. Each cup was artfully presented with lots of information to help us learn about the harvesting, brewing, and tasting. As my friend exclaimed at the end of our experience, "They don't play with their tea!" Abby was deeply passionate about the art of tea, and we loved having her teach us about all their offerings. As if the 90 delightful minutes weren't generous enough for all the education and tastings, we got to select the tea of our choice and a pastry to enjoy at their tables in the main seating area. I selected a chocolate pastry and the jasmine black tea. The cake was perfectly balanced without a ton of sweetness, and the black jasmine tea transported me to a cozy feeling of well being. I ended up purchasing four boxes of my favorites, and we even got an iced lime grape jasmine tea to go. I will absolutely, definitely be back again!

Amazing tea tasting experience, the owner is extremely knowledgeable and they have a vast tea collection. If you're interested in authentic Chinese tea I'll strongly recommend this shop.

Absolutely love this tea house! My fiancée and I first tried the tea when she saw their stall at the market by her work. The tea was good enough there for us to try it when we found out there was a store in Leesburg. The guy who owns the store was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when we first visited. He let us try many different teas and gave us the health benefits of each one. We've been back many times since then due to how good the service and teas are. Both the hot teas and cold teas are incredibly delicious. You cannot go wrong with anything here. We've yet to try the donuts and baked goods but maybe one day. We also love that there are plenty of teas you can buy and make at home. They usually have deals running as well when you buy multiple boxes. If you decide to sit in the restaurant and enjoy your tea, they have seating and they also have board games you can play while you sip your tea. I hope hope hope they stay open forever and never change their quality. This is a real gem for tea lovers.

Getting afternoon tea together has become an annual holiday tradition with this friend (and some of our other friends), so it was great to continue this tradition at Mocatinas! The cafe is somewhat small, but they still have good seating in there. We made a reservation in advance for the tea experience, and I recommend that you do so if you plan to dine in for tea. They had not yet started their holiday-themed tea, but it was fine as they had some holiday decor (a pink Christmas tree!) already set up, so it felt festive in there. For the tea, we ordered the Strawberry Champagne Oolong. Though it has "champagne" in the name, this isn't alcoholic. It was a very sweet and delicious tea. We also ordered a pot of the Earl Grey Lavender, which was also very delicious! Our afternoon tea experience came with the traditional three-tiered tea stand, with macarons, tea sandwiches (cucumber, etc.), scones, butter, jam pastries, and petit fours. Our tea also came with a pre-course dish comprised of a small grilled cheese pastry and a small tomato soup. Everything was delicious! We had an excellent experience here. Service was friendly and efficient and very attentive. I will certainly visit again!

It was actually quite delectable! It hit the right spot for my cravings! The Summer Crunch croffle has granola, banana, strawberries, vanilla gelato and raspberry sauce. It was a great combination of crunch and sweet and savory! I also ordered a white peach fruit tea, which is pretty much my order of choice every time I've stopped by. As always, their staff are polite and come ready with their recommendations if you need them. The shop is fairly clean, and I've noticed that they have a pretty steady foot traffic. In the summer/warmer months, I've definitely noticed a lot of groups hang out in the shop. They don't have a lot of people staying to enjoy their orders in the middle of the day, so I think they'd be a good spot to do some remote work if you wanted to. Overall, solidly good experience. I would definitely recommend the croffles. The boba can still be a hit or miss.
