Recently came back to try this location again after a waffle craving. They had bubble waffle specials going on, and I decided to try the Summer Crunch bubble waffle. It was actually quite delectable! It hit the right spot for my cravings! The Summer Crunch croffle has granola, banana, strawberries, vanilla gelato and raspberry sauce. It was a great combination of crunch and sweet and savory! I also ordered a white peach fruit tea, which is pretty much my order of choice every time I've stopped by. As always, their staff are polite and come ready with their recommendations if you need them. The shop is fairly clean, and I've noticed that they have a pretty steady foot traffic. In the summer/warmer months, I've definitely noticed a lot of groups hang out in the shop. They don't have a lot of people staying to enjoy their orders in the middle of the day, so I think they'd be a good spot to do some remote work if you wanted to. Overall, solidly good experience. My gf and I stopped in for boba after church and before lunch yesterday. I don't think I had ever had boba from here before yesterday. It was good but not any different than I could get elsewhere. I ordered a mango fruit tea with boba. She ordered a Tiger Tea which is their version of brown sugar tea. It was good but I thought she's had better versions of it elsewhere. The service was quick and the gentleman working convinced us to stay in and try the boba. The ambiance is probably where they try to get people inside. There's hanging chairs which is kinda cool. If you want boba that Mochinut doesn't serve next door, then this place is serviceable. But there's tons of other boba places that I personally think are better if you are willing to drive. read more

I seen this place in reels online on social media and I figured it was time to check it out. Personally I wasn't feeling in the mood to drink Bubble Tea but what did catch my interest was the Bubble Waffle Specials. Walking inside, there's chairs you can sit down that could swing if force was applied but I honestly opted for a table instead. It's spacious and there's enough room if you plan to be there briefly. They have an aesthetic going here for sure. I got the Summer Crunch Bubble Waffle Special and I have to say; this was intimidating. A bubble waffle with vanilla gelato, granola, bananas, strawberries, drizzled with raspberry sauce. At glance, it was a very messy concoction to even try. I was pondering for a minute because I was definitely unsure about how to even tackle it. Eventually I just went for the fruit. They were big pieces and they took up most of the space so I ate that. Then the gelato and then the waffle itself. Was it great ? Absolutely. This is a fantastic dessert but it does take time for them to make. Patience is the name of the game. I think there was only one employee working, since it took a bit for her to come to the front. I got a the Pomegranate & Lychee Fizz. TLDR: Unauthentic "boba tea". One of the worst drink experiences I've had, which prompted me to write this review. Against my better judgment of being open-minded, I should've known I was in for a bad experience when there were no Asian employees or customers (I'm Asian, and iykyk when it comes to authentic Asian food/drink). Pros: Cashier was friendly. I was healthier as a result of throwing away the drink. Cons: I ordered the most basic drink (plain Assam milk tea with boba) and they still got it wrong...very wrong. Milk tea was flavorless, watery, undersweetened, chalky liquid..a sorry excuse for milk tea. Boba was an acceptable texture but poorly integrated with the tea. The employees have no clue how to mix drinks. The "mixing" consisted of pouring of a pre-concocted, flawed mix of low-quality ingredients. So when you start with crap, you get crap. In sum, just don't come here for anything remotely related to boba tea, or a good drink experience in general. It's an insult to the boba tea franchise, as well as your taste buds. read more

The store is SUPER cute ngl. The only boba store near me that even has a cool neon quote on the wall. The boba shop has such an interesting concept ~ science! It would be awesome for this shop to build more on this concept of science and experimentation; has so much potential and room for improvement, given it's location! This is my favorite boba place in ALL of NoVa, and I've tried many! Their prices are absolutely unbeatable, cuz it is rare to find milk tea with 2 free toppings for less than 5 bucks. I highly recommend the rose milk tea, Tiger tea, lavender milk tea, and their lychee jelly :) The seating area is quite nice too, and the Leesburg village area is a great place to walk around on a date. I love Boba! Bubbleology in Leesburg is not very tasty. I don't think any of the ingredients are actually freshly sourced from the fruits, herbs or root veggies themselves. Which I was expecting! We got two Taro Milk Teas one with tapioca boba and mango boba and the other with tapioca boba and passion fruit boba. The third tea was the passion fruit and cucumber tea with lychee boba. The taro milk tea was a hard miss with barely any flavor and it was served warm. The other tea was pretty sweet but didn't pack the punch of citrusy passion fruit and barely detected the cucumber. Yikes! They do have a large selection of popping boba; such as - apple, lychee, passionate fruit, mango, strawberry, blueberry and some others I cannot remember. Bubble teaholic here. I say that as someone who has had bubble tea in New York, California, and Asia. I also say that with a tinge of shame because my family, friends, and I all know that I invest far too much in bubble tea lmao Thus, I wanted to love this place, I really did. There's not really any good bubble tea places nearby. So, I walked in on a Thursday evening, well after their grand opening, so the hype had died down for the most part. The interior is adorable--very Instagrammable. I was immediately attended to by a very nice lady; I know there have been past complaints about service, but they are very new, so I wouldn't fault them for that. I ordered a honeydew milk bubble tea with just plain tapioca pearls because honeydew is the flavor that started my addiction :) The lady even waited for me to taste it to see if it was sweet enough, or too sweet, but the sweetness department wasn't where this drink was lacking. I kind of expected the following because I knew Bubbleology is a very Americanized chain: you can taste the powder. They say they use freshly brewed tea, but the drink was unfortunately quite chalky and not very flavorful at all. In light of this, I'll probably try the Assam or Jasmine tea next time. It's unfortunate because I LOVE that they have so many tea and boba flavors to choose from. The boba at least were cooked well and had a good chewiness to them. I would say i'm a boba connoisseur as I have been to MANY boba places all across the east coast. Bubbleology attracts young audiences and is "cool" and "hip", I was not excited or pleased. I ordered a jasmine milk tea w/ boba at 50% sugar to play it safe and I was disappointed. I only tasted a small amount of jasmine flavor, but it mostly tasted like milk w/ a mystery tea flavor. The boba was bland and not sweet and soft. It was as if they did not put any sugar after cooking the boba.
