    22. Baba Ghanouj Shawarma
    Alex S.

Big portion but very oily baba ganouj and the beef tasted odd... the chicken shawarma was good but it threw me off bc usually I like beef better it just tasted very odd to me. Pita bread was not good either.

The food here is well seasoned and well spiced. This is not going to be a quick dine and run, it's quality food for a reasonable price. They make the food fresh, so wait enjoy time with family / friends, and the food will be there shortly. Everything was properly made from the meats to the rice and the salad was well dressed with great freshness. The humus was creamy with a richness to the layers of flavor. You'll like the garlic aioli it's not overly thick and mayonnaise-y with a heavy garlic flavor. Wish they had a soda machine.

First time here. Visited on a Saturday at 3pm. Super casual spot, located in nice strip mall, convenient location w/ parking. Fast & friendly service. I ordered the All In Shawarma platter. Came w/ chicken, beef, rice, hummus, salad, and pita. It was delicious. $20 total. I'd recommend and I'll definitely be back.

Food was great well seasoned. Service was a bit slow but expected from such a big order. Ambiance was nice good spot for lunch.

    Lamb Kebap!

Was in the mood for Shawarma and grape leaves, I'm an Abu Omar Halal regular, they don't miss the mark, but wanted to try something new and saw this place has high number of reviews in Google and a good score... and they didn't disappoint!!! 100% recommended! For whatever reason each time I go to Abu Omar Halal, they never have Lamb, these guy do! So I ordered the Lamb Kebab and the Beef Shawarma to try both, i honestly wasn't impressed with the shawarma that much, it was good don't get me wrong, but it just didn't impacted me that much, but what was impressively good was the Lamb Kebab !!! MAN!!!! And the orange sauce they cook it on is just so tasty and makes the lamb so juicy! The grapes leave where a different experience to what I'm used to as well, they're more spicy here which I liked, and they served very hot. I'm definitely coming back for more lamb Kebab, for everything I ordered it was what stood out! Attention was good, ambience a little too bright, but I think is just me getting older and grumpy.... XD. I finished my my feast with a Baklava!!! It was fresh and perfectly crafted! These guys rock !!!

My wife and I shared a plate and a couple sides and it was more than we could eat. The All Inn Grill plate was tasty, the beef kefta, spicy chicken and chicken koobidah with rice, jerusalem salad, hummus, an extra side of baba ganoush (pureed eggplant) and pita bread were 5 stars. We even enjoyed a cup of black coffee. The only thing that could have been better was a cup of ice for our cans of diet soda. The friendly young man behind the counter said their ice machine was on the fritz, the plastic cutlery needs improvement too. We'll be back. .

Chicken shawarma - 8.5/10 - One of the freshest shawarmas ive had, i love that it was crispy too, but could use more flavor. Fries - 9/10 - Crispy and seasoned. Paired with their garlic sauce was chefs kiss. I absolutely love shawarmas so I was excited to try this spot and was not disappointed. One of the best shawarmas ive had in Houston.

Oh my god??? It's SO good. This will definitely be my go-to for shawarma and Mediterranean food--even over Fadi's. The meat and vegetables are all served perfectly and the sauces were also really good (garlic, tzatziki). We also had some hummus that tasted very fresh and balanced. I definitely recommend getting it on the side.

I got the all-in shawarma and the chicken sandwich. Everything Looks like it would be packing with flavor but it was pretty bland. Needed the pickles to just gain something for tastebuds. Also the beef was so dry. I felt like a few more mins it could be jerky. The sandwich was decent but I was adding tons of the pickled veggies, sauces, and hummus to it. Fries were the only solid thing. Nice and crispy.

This place used to be House of Kabobs. I don't know if it's by the same owners. You order at the counter. If you pay with a credit card, there's a 3.5 percent charge. I ordered a small hummus and a tabbouli. The hummus comes with one pita bread cut in half. It's quite good. But $5.95 is too much. The tabbouli was missing something. Perhaps the parsley needs to be finer. I asked if I could get another pita bread. The cashier said, "It's $1.50, I think." He didn't know?I think there should be two pieces of pita bread with the small hummus. I didn't buy the extra bread. $1.50 is too much.

Should've checked for plugs to see whether it could be a study/work spot. I found this place after going to a lovely Georgian spot in NY. Had to share the Kachapuri experience with the fam at home. But the hubby didn't feel like that much cheese (5 types, to be exact) tonight, and he opted for the plov plus some sort of dumpling (I picked khinkali based on the kind cashier's recommendation). Plov: I very rarely order rice dishes anywhere outside of the goat biriyani at Himalayas, but this turned out to be the best dish there. The lamb was so tender and the sauerkraut paired perfectly. The flavors were on point - but the dish was pretty small, and that I have a problem with. If a rice dish is $17 before tax, at least make it sizable. 4/5 due one point being docked for portion size. Khinkali: Really wanted to like this but at $17 for 4 dumplings, they needed to be phenomenal - and they didn't deliver. I like that they handmake it at the restaurant. I don't like that it was SO oversalted. So. Salty. And parts of the dough were undercooked. 2/5 Borscht: I added the borscht because a) I love borscht but more because b) the khinkali was so salty (have I said that yet?) and I was looking for something to balance it out. I even asked as I was ordering if it's not very salty. I hadn't ordered it originally because I didn't think a bowl of soup was worth $15 before tax. But I got it anyway, and I can say: 1. It's good - but still quite salty, and 2. It comes in an even smaller bowl than I had thought; 3. I still don't think it's worth it. 3.5/5 overall So that comes out to 3.17 stars on the food front. I'd give the cashier/cook/waitress 5/5 (maybe she owns it? Or is the manager?) though. For ambiance, I would give 3/5. If I ask myself how the visit was, I'd say it was ok but I wouldn't go out of my way to go back. For me that's a solid 3/5.

The broth also had no flavor and was just liquid fat. (Yes I am aware lamb is a fatty meat but this was an extreme amount). I ate a bite and gave up. I couldn't get myself to eat another bite. It wasn't for me. 2 khachapuri--it was served piping hot. Was pretty good. The bread was soft and rich with the creamy and heavy filling. 3. Chicken samsa-- no for me. I had a few bites and then realized the chicken is really chicken etc. meaning it was chicken and whatever parts of the chicken (cartilage, collagen, fat etc.) if you're not used to eating this, it's a very strange texture. The pastry was flaky and crisp and the sauce it came with had some flavor but the filling lacked salt and basically seasoning. It came with a carrot salad(?) which had a strange after taste. I love all things veggies and I couldn't take more than a bite. The ambiance is a food hall with very loud music and super casual vibes. The price is very high for a food hall. We paid $55 (including two water bottles). If your meat has fillers (meat parts)--shouldn't it be cheaper? This place isn't for me sadly. I won't be coming back. Wishing them the best.
