Let me start by saying this wasn't just an order mistake--this was a serious safety issue handled poorly. I ordered a smoked turkey sandwich (no tomatoes) through Uber Eats. When it arrived, I noticed something looked off, so I checked it before eating. Good thing I did--because the sandwich had ham on it. I am allergic to pork. Not "I don't like it"--I'm talking about swelling and ER visits. So this could have gone very differently if I hadn't checked first. I called the store expecting at least some concern or an attempt to fix the issue. Instead, I got a very dismissive response and was told to go through Uber Eats for a refund. No apology, no acknowledgment of the allergy risk, no effort to make it right. Uber Eats gave me a partial refund, which didn't even cover the sandwich. Mistakes happen--but how you handle them matters. In this case, the lack of care and accountability was disappointing. I will start off by saying I come to this firehouse often and the manager is never particularly friendly but tonight he was unbelievably rude. I was trying to place my order in the drive thru at the end I asked him to repeat it please, he said no pull up. I knew then my entire order was wrong. Sure enough when he handed me my food the 3 sandwiches were all wrong, I asked him to redo he said no, you can come inside if you have a problem I have cars waiting behind you. I had my kid in the car and was not going to cause a scene but I will never be back. This location is terrible. Food is great and always has been, but the service is absolutely awful and the employees are utterly rude and nasty towards the customers who simply ask about their orders. I ordered my order online and forty minutes later, it is still not ready. This has happened to me three times now. The order receipts are also stacked and jumbled in a disorganized pile. I had to ask him three times and He barked at me that she's coming. Then he proceeded to answer and a phone order and was extremely rude to the customer. Like.. really rude. I was stunned. At this juncture, I just knew this was standard practice here. After 15 minutes, Lucero finally comes out, and I can tell she knows that she has poor customer service. She says, "What do you want?" And then bucks at me harshly, saying "what? What? What like what do you want?" Her lips start quivering with anger as if we're going to fight or something.. I may look how I look, but there's nothing aggressive and certainly nothing physically aggressive I will ever experience with anyone.. ever. That wasn't provoking me to do anything at all. I asked her her name. I asked her for her Associates name as well. She said what are you going to do what are you going to do? What are you going to do?" What are you going to do?" What are you going to do?" What are you going to do?" Then she tells her associate to take a picture of me and write a full description and make sure that I'm on the camera. O... k... very strange. Lady, that won't help your claim at all. What you'll find in the video is me standing very calmly for minutes upon minutes on end, then asking four times to speak with the manager calmly. When I asked the workers if it was ready and if they could check the orders waiting behind the counter they said " those aren't yours.. THOSE AREN'T YOURS" in a very rude tone. I would never go back to this location. This working name Erika was so rude and nasty. service was so horrible. I felt like my food was in danger. The only other Firehouse Subs I've been to is the one in Meyerland. I hesitated to come to this one because the Meyerland location is so great, I wasn't sure if this new location could hold up to it. I understand that this location is brand new, so I wasn't expecting them to be amazing out of the gate. To keep things short, everything was amazing. There was a great design, great service, great food, but the only thing that couldn't compare was the lack of meat I was given at this location. It's not like they barely gave me any meat, but the Meyerland location gives like triple meat without you even asking. So I might come back in a few months to see if anything's changed, but I'll stick with the Meyerland location just to get more bang for my buck. read more

Well tonight's Oder was just disappointing. I'm not sure if they were super busy tonight or just simply not taking their time on the orders. My husband ordered the pepperoni meatball sub and there were absolutely no pepperonis! I've read bad reviews on this place, but stopped by anyway Bc it's a freaking fast good joint and wanted my own opinion. I WAS greeted when I walked in so I was pleased with that... I ordered 2 sandwiches, both with less bread Bc I'm cutting carbs. I ordered a meatball and a club sandwich. The meatball was missing oregano (which isn't that big of a deal) and my bread wasn't gutted. It's a little hard to do to guy the bread myself Bc the marinara sauce is all over etc. NI BIGGIE, stuffing my face anyway. While I'm eating my medium club sandwich, I notice there's no bacon. I let one of the ladies know, and 2 minutes later she brings me ONE piece of bacon as I am half way done. Again, maybe it's better tho way Bc I'm saving calories... Firehouse Subs doesn't understand that to make chicken and dumplings, you need dumplings. Their "chicken & dumpling soup" is just soup. The tiny, isolated granules of dough do not qualify as dumplings. $4.29 for a tiny cup of soup is outrageous. To top it off, the soup was practically tasteless. When I arrived at the appointed time to pick up my online order they had just started making it. Tried to go to the drive through 15 min before closing and it said "were closed". I went inside and the three girls working looked at me as if I had walked in past closing and continually gave each other looks as if it was such a bother that I was there. I told her everything I wanted on the sandwich and she had to ask me multiple times what I wanted when making it. Pure laziness to close the drive through early and get angry when someone comes in with ample time before closing. Now home and looking at my sandwich they forgot my cheese and mustard.
