Had them Park out front for our daughter's birthday and it was a big hit. Delicious Philly cheese steak and chicken tawuk sandwiches. Good fries and great sauce. They were very easy to work with and accommodated 70 people. The only minor improvement area was that the line got pretty long waited 20+ min for food. We had more people than expected so that could be it. Will definitely bring them out to the neighborhood again. read more

After a night out I found a parking lot at 1am filled with food trucks. There were about 6 to be exact. I decided to give SAM'WICH a try because the name had a ring to it. I ordered a vegan wrap and quesadillas. The food came out fresh and everything was on point. I noticed also just about everything costs about $8 so don't be afraid to try a few things. AMAZING! If you see this food truck, I highly recommend stopping by. My work building has a food truck once every two weeks and Sam'Wich was the food truck last week. Me and a couple of coworkers went down to check it out. The owner was so kind, and came up to me and a coworker (we were the first ones to come down & waiting) and gave us menus, while explaining to us some of the items. I originally had my eye set on one of the sandwiches, but after describing their greens n' grains bowl, it sounded too good to pass up. I decided to go for the chicken tawook (I think?) after he said it's kind of like a chick fil a nugget. I figured, since I'm getting the greens n' grains bowl, with mostly healthy things, some fried chicken nuggets wouldn't be so bad. ;) NO REGRETS. My bowl was amazing - it's something I've never had, and so delicious. The portion they gave was huge, and gave me some leftovers for an afternoon snack. My coworkers that got some of their sandwiches said nothing, but great things. Great flavors, and quality. I can't wait to see this truck again and get my bowl again! I ordered the original bowl with chicken tawook and received grilled chicken instead--fail. I was there at peak hours for lunch, and the wait wasn't terrible. Actually, I got my order within 5 minutes. The bowl itself was quite small for the price. For the amount I paid, it's definitely not worth it. I'd rather go to Chipotle, get twice as much for half the price. I guess this is what you get if you are stuck working amongst the BHP buildings along Post Oak, but it wasn't even memorable for it to be worth my time. I tried messaging them on Instagram and asked the food truck guy directly about how I can find out their location at any given time, and they said it's on their Instagram page--wrong! I have scoured and there is nothing there, and their website doesn't work either! Guess they'll lose me as a customer because I work around these parts! read more

Top notch sandwiches. And incredible service. What more can you ask for. The owners really care about their product and it shows. The #1 is to die for. the garlic sauce is amazing. Amazing food. Got #1 and #2 on the menu and they were so good. Fries are super fresh and crispy and make sure to ask for their secret sauce to dip your sandwich/fries. Nutella brownies are one of the best brownies I've had. They have good parking space so very convenient as well. read more

My group had a phenomenal experience here in March 2019. The owners were 28 days into this new venture, and I'm sure they will do great. Most importantly, the food was delicious. We ordered the #1, #2, and #6. All came with crispy fries that were just delicious with the sauce. Moreover, this food truck is unlike many others you've probably frequented. It's not in a crowded lot, difficult to get to, or in an unfriendly or unsafe environment. This is a great place to come with friends and family. They typically have some good music playing, so if you're not in a rush I would stick around and eat your food while it's warm. There's also a Nutella brownie cupcake on the menu that is a must try. It's homemade every morning and only two dozen are made. Make sure to snag yours because once they are out, they are out! Lastly, it's great that they use fresh ingredients and make fresh every day. You'll be able to taste their passion for food in whatever dish you choose. At times the quality takes such a hit when restaurants mass produce their food. You can tell the owners take quality seriously and you'll truly be able to tell you're eating a fresh cooked meal. Give them a shot! read more

Came with friends and we got #1, #2, & #3 all were flame! And it's halal. Great hours, private area so you'll have plenty of space to eat your food as soon as you get it. Nothing worse than pulling up to a food truck area with 50 other trucks, with a terrible neighborhood smell, and feeling unsafe. You won't experience that here. New halal food truck spot on Westheimer. The owner is Syrian, I tried the Philly cheesesteak which was good but not your typical philly, order it without the pickles and corn to get more of the classic philly. Also tried the chicken supreme which was very good, different than your typical chicken shawarma type sandwiches. The garlic aoili sauce within sandwiches was bomb. The Nutella brownie cupcake was honestly not that great, I'd pass on that. Food was kinda pricey for the quantity you get and all orders are with fries or chips but they def have unique sandwiches you won't find at any other food trucks on Westheimer. Overall solid spot. Honestly a place any should try. I had the popcorn chicken sandwich that came with fries for less than 10 dollars... What other food truck does that besides food trucks. Pretty sure not that many. Regardless the taste was there the flavors where there. Not to much sauce not to much veggies. This is with out a doubt one of the better new food trucks out in houston. This truck is located on my way back home from work. I've enjoyed these guys' food for about a month now. Food quality has been always high and consistent. My favorites are #5 with cheese and #4. Wow I am impressed with this food truck that opened right here across from where I live. Sandwiches are incredibly tasty, perfect late night food. It's hard to come across a food truck where you don't feel heavy and sick from the heavy amounts of grease and salt used. Sam'Wich is the place!!!! Growing up, I watched my dad make the best sandwiches for our small town community. I loved the way his food brought people together. I knew I would eventually set out to follow in his footsteps.
