    Htown Special Combo

I saw TikTok videos of this place and I had to try it, it is worth the visit. I got the htown box so chili cheese dog with an all beef frank, seasoned fries, 5 battered wings, nacho cheese sauce on the side and ranch for under $19 is a great value. If you are on a diet, you are not for a night. It's definitely ultra indulgence. Love the all beef Frank dog, pillowy soft bread, nice snap to the dog, good spice flavors with a hint of beef from the dog, creamy cheese, beefy chili with a great earthy & mole type of taste. I love the chili has no beans. The grilled onions are a nice add of sweet too. Fries are good same o fries you would expect from any restaurant so this is a good example, thick middle sized fries. Wings are great, I preferred naked and I recommend to select your preference online battered or naked. The battered is crunchy and nice moist chicken but for me too salty. The garlic Parmesan sauce I couldn't really taste it, plus I was hoping to see more Parmesan, it would have been nice to sprinkle some on top and it needs more garlic. It had a nice semi sweet flavor but I could taste a hint of parm. Good wings but I bet the naked are better. Overall great experience, I recommend if you like cheese get a side of cheese sauce. It reminds me of Taco Bell cheese sauce but a slightly stronger cheese flavor. I will say the ranch is ok, it's watery, sorta missing out on the ranch flavor. It reminded me of Pluckers ranch sauce both are watery but it felt the ranch at Mid-West coney definitely could be thicker. The owner is very nice and approachable, I felt he took care of me and let me know my order was done. He took ownership. He is client centric.

Hot dogs, sliders, fries. Detroit chips.

Service was great! It was nice to try a different taste in hot dogs, wings and sliders. Sliders were super salty. Place looks clean.

This place truly never misses. I had the 8 piece hot honey lemon pepper and OG dry rub today. I love that the wings are not these huge steroid sized wings, they are the perfect size. The sauces and rubs were so flavorful and everything was hot and made to order. I also had a cheesesteak egg roll which is one of my go tos here. The ambience is cool and makes you want to have a seat and enjoy your food inside. You won't feel rushed. Love that they expanded to this new location!

Hospitality is top tier once you open that door! Setting is on another level with the roots from where they are coming from. Peaceful vibe music was nice! Meals and dishes were outstanding.

First time visiting and will for sure return. The restaurant has a family feel to it. The cashier was very welcoming & answered all questions I had prior to ordering. There was about a 20 minute wait which wasn't bad considering the Wednesday special. I do wish they offered the option of all flats for the wings. Our food was fresh with wings fried hard as requested & every item full of flavor!! The blue cheese & sauce that's included with the cheesesteak egg roll paired great as condiments. I'm ready happy I gave this place a try.

10 out 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND Come try this place out. The food is amazing and the staff is definitely worth the visit. Thank you for the friendly hospitality!! I felt very welcome on my first visit!

So we were craving a chili dog and we're tired of JCI really lacking these days so we set out for a new hot dog joint and MCC did not disappoint if you're looking for flavor look no further. Gone on and get that hot dog & wing combo it'll hit the spot every time oh and they fries are good too, oh don't forget the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls those hit too.

"Hello Detroit, you won my heart" those who know, know what I'm singing. That is what I was singing after visiting this spot! I have heard lot of good reviews and I was finally able to get here. This place right here brings me back home. The chili dog is right on point of the Detroit coney I get when I come home. Let start with the wings - nice and crunchy like I like them, and moist. The lemon pepper seasoning was not over powering. French fries were good but I should of made those a chili fries. Now let's get to the coney dog, they chili sauce on top is very flavorful. I have been to other place that say the coney dogs taste like the ones from Detroit, this place has hit it on the nail!!! The service was great the own came out letting the customers know that there food will be ready soon. Letting us know that food is cook to order so you know you are getting it fresh. He was very nice and so was the staff. They carry the staples from home. Better made chips and Faygo. The next on the list to try is a Boston cooler (ice cream and Vernon's another Detroit staple). Check out the menu, they do offer various hot dogs and wings.

Everyone that worked here is really nice. I had this place saved in my guides so when I flew into Houston I had to see about it. Everything I got was good. The fries were seasoned, the chili cheese beef dog was great. The wings were cooked just how I liked it. I got the lemon pepper hot. It's a dope place though. The decor showing how cool Detroit is. Definitely recommend

I love supporting black on businesses, however I love supporting those businesses that actually take their work seriously. The food was great. It made me feel like I was back at home in Chicago. I will say to tad bit pricey for two. lol so come alone I have been there twice so far.

Do they have turkey dogs? I'm from Michigan and I have been dying for a coney with Flint sauce but I quit eating beef and pork. HELP ME!!!

There is a menu on zmenu.com. I didn't see turkey dogs. The chili is beef. You might call them to check. Good Luck!

As busy parents, it's hard to find time for ourselves, so when we do get a chance to go out, we really hope it feels worth it and Credence absolutely delivered. This was our first time visiting and everything was incredible from start to finish. Every dish was beautifully presented and delicious. What really made the experience special though was the service. Our waitress was attentive, kind, warm, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire meal. The atmosphere felt elevated without being stuffy, and we were actually able to relax and enjoy ourselves. We left already talking about when we want to come back. The dining room is chic and feels very upscale but comfortable with a large open fire kitchen that was really fun to watch while dining. They were very on top of service with both our dining captain and waiter checking on us throughout the evening. For appetizers we ordered the deviled crabs, tuna tostada and wood roasted carrots. All were great but I especially loved the carrots which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. For my main course I had the chicken and dumplings, husband got the NY strip, our friends shared the whole fish and we had the cabbage and crab rice as sides. Everyone was very happy with both their main courses and the side dishes. We were too stuffed to order dessert but they sent out a s'mores inspired sunday for my birthday which was both thoughtful and sublime. Overall we were very impressed with our meal. Food was delicious but veeeery indulgent. We will be back.

Every time I'm in town, it's either too far, I'm short on time, or (of course) they're closed. FYI: they're closed on Sundays... learned that the hard way, lol Today, though, fate intervened. I was in the area visiting one of our business clients, drove right past it, and immediately told myself: after this meeting, I'm turning around and eating there. No excuses. Fast forward...I parked in front, and I swear it felt like there was a halo over the restaurant name. Okay, maybe I'm being dramatic... but if you've been craving a place for a year, you'd understand. Walking in, the décor was warm and inviting. There's wall artwork and a shelf filled with Filipino snacks...Chocnut, which instantly took me back to childhood. That alone already had me smiling. My servers, Rhiley, Hailey and Adrian weresuch a pleasant surprise. Super welcoming, shared a bit of the restaurant's history, and made the whole experience feel personal. The vibe reminded me of the hangout spots my little brother and I used to go to comfortable, familiar, and full of heart. Now, the food...I knew I was getting a burger... but deciding which one? Not easy. They've got multiple options, and yes...burgers with rice combos (Filipino-approved ). I went with the Jaboi Burger: Siopao bun, Wagyu patty, medium rare, Sauce that tied everything together beautifully...I also ordered the garlic fries and sampled their sauces. My favorites? The house-made mayo and BBQ...both solid wins. To end the meal, dessert was a must. I ordered the halo-halo (small size), which honestly is perfect for sharing. A sweet, nostalgic way to close out the experience. Everything was amazing. Truly worth the wait and yes, I'll definitely be back. Once we sat down, we were served a small bowl of potato chips which were pretty bland. We ordered the lechon kawali as a warm up. It was very crispy, dry and lacking in flavor. The sauce tasted like a mix between balsamic dressing and brown gravy, but didn't really help improve the taste of the pork belly. For entrees, we ordered the Flip 'n Patties burger and the mini Kamayan. The burger itself was good, but the unexpected pickle (not listed on the menu) kind of ruined the burger for me. The mini kamayan arrived mostly lukewarm, and several of the meats were dry. The chicken pupu was decent, Tito Don's BBQ tasted like a dry bbq brisket, the longganisa reminded me of a seasoned hamburger patty. I skipped the fliproll after my friend said it was bland. The decor is very casual, the service was friendly and attentive, and parking was easy with a free lot.
