Been going to the shop on S. Mason , Katy about 25 yrs. Usually good sandwiches , although overpriced a bit. The place is usually clean and the employees are quite attentive but not especially friendly. I've been buying the 5 after5 pizzas on a fairly regular basis and lately I've noticed a decline in order accuracy of the orders and quality of the pizza. Last evening, bought 2 pepperoni pizzas. One was ok and one was grossly undercooked. Also the pepperoni has has been reduced in quantity and size. Looks like a sliced hot dog size. If Schlotskys needs more profit, raise the prices but don't cut the quality ; that's a sure way to Reduce profit through reduced sales. read more

I ordered a gluten free sandwich. I was informed it only came in a small size. Every single location I've ever been to has one size of gluten free bun. However, if you order a medium or large, they will add more meat to the sandwich. I told her I wanted a medium and she told me there would be an upcharge for extra meat. I guess the quality of Schlotzsky's has fallen. I remember the chicken Caesar wraps being mixed together and on a wrap. Here I got a sprinkle of parm, a wrap that wasn't even wrapped all the way around, maybe a couple pieces of chicken, and more croutons than I could count. The wrap didn't have any dressing on it when it was delivered to my table. What? Just annoying to eat because it was falling apart because it was so badly wrapped. I tried to rectify this by buying a mini roll which is listed at 2.49 plus the 5% odd check in offer. She tells me it's actually 3.89. Um okay. Schlotzsky's can do better than this. I am literally mind-blown this place has good reviews. I ate there maybe 10 times in 90 days when I was working very close to this location. Other locations are fine but this one is gross, not friendly, more gross and not super accurate. The inside isn't all that clean, they are often out of very basic things. Their drink cooler is also usually missing a lot of the options. There is usually one employee and one cook from what I have seen. I don't think they care about what they are doing or anything else. It's like it's overall neglected so badly they can't fix it in one shift so they just do the bare minimum during their shifts is the only way i can think to describe it. I got the app and everything when I was going super often - I will say the app was awesome, free sandwich, lots of rewards - changed and earned frequently. So disappointing this place was so bad. I wouldn't have been back so many times but at the time, it was this or Chilis. I suppose the first few times I came here I didn't notice how bad it was either - i would place an order on the app and pick it up. I live 4 blocks away so once night I was craving a good sammich and needed to drop off some stuff at the goodwill so I came here. I got the turkey bacon club which is something I've been getting for at least the last 20 years. I ordered a medium and the young lady actually made me a large. The Best turkey sandwich I have had in a long time! They have their own bakery in the back, so everything is freshly made in house!! I walked in yesterday and said I needed a min to look at the menu as it was my first time. They heard that and gave me amazing customer service!!! They gave me a little background about the business, explained the menu and deals they have, and the service was quick! The place looked and felt very clean and shiny. You can't go wrong with a Schlotzsky's sandwich. You will love the freshness of the sourdough bread, and all of the fixin's that goes along with it. Definitely worth all 5 stars. I would like to start off by saying that I love Schlotzsky's. Unfortunately, I blame this pandemic, lately things are off. I use to never have a problem with my food or the staff at this location. I like to order my food online and pick up at the store because I only get an hour lunch and the drive time already takes a big chunk of it. The last few times prior to my most recent visit my order is not ready by the time I get there. Today, I had to go inside to order so I can redeem my coupon. The cashier must've been new, she didn't understand what I was saying, she did not know how to apply the coupon and then she had to go get help. That took about 10 minutes. Again, she must've been new so that part I understand. My food was ready in no time since more than likely the salads are pre-made. Here's my major issue, they did not include the breadsticks that they come with AND THERE WAS A LONG CURLY HAIR IN THE SALAD!!! I noticed it after I tossed it and took a couple of bites. I have short straight hair so it wasn't mine. The lettuce was wilted so I can only assume that it was old. I could not go back because my hour was almost over. More than likely I will go back because I love their sandwiches but one thing is for sure, I will never order a salad. read more

Today we experienced the worst customer service from this location. During our 12 hour shift, the nurses and staff placed an order for 12 lunches at 10:50am for delivery at our hospital through their online ordering service. We called the catering coordinator at 11:00am to confirm the order and price. Then, we receive a phone call from Schlotzsky's at 12:08 pm notifying us that there was a mix up in the order, and they would be leaving the store at 12:30pm (the store is 3.4 miles away from our hospital, it's a Saturday, no expected traffic on the roads). At 1:08pm, we called the catering service number to get ETA on our delivery. We also requested the phone number to reach the store manager. We were told by the catering coordinator, Nikita, to not call the store asking for the manager because the manager himself would be making the delivery to us. After 2 hours and 45 mins later, we finally got our lunch delivered at 1:35pm, and NOT by the manager. So here is my list of complaints: 1. Several of the staff could not eat lunch, because by the time our food was delivered, they were busy with patient care. 2. If the store is unable to fulfill a large order like ours in a prompt manner, they should have been honest and notify us so that we could order from another chain, perhaps one with freakishly fast delivery. 3. We ordered 5 "original" sandwiches. The description of the "original" sandwich online states it includes thinly sliced chicken breast. The sandwiches we received has salami and pastrami. I've included a picture to this review. 4. We received our lunch order after 2 hours and 45 mins later! This is unacceptable. As a busy labor and delivery unit at a big hospital, we will no longer be ordering from Schlotzkys! read more

I paid almost 3 bucks for a coffee, which normally is fine, but not when I have to go make it myself using their busted a** keurig machine. It wasn't even on so I had to wait for it to heat up and it took forever to brew. Then my boyfriend tried to make his but the thing ran out of water so he had to fill it up and wait for it to heat up and brew. It took way too long and not worth it for the quality. It wouldn't be that hard for them to put it behind the counter (by the Cinnabon area because it's advertised together, so it makes sense) and the employees could do it. That way it would hopefully be ready to brew and they can just push the button! Also, it would keep it from breaking even further than it already is. The center of the bun Cinnabon wasn't great either. I was expecting it to be still in the Cinnabon shape but just the yummy gooey center totally covered is icing, but it was just diced up Cinnabon. And they were kinda crispy like it came from the edges of another Cinnabon. I would like to add though that I love schlotzsky's but I'm giving the poor review about the coffee and Cinnabon situation. Keep it separate or bring the Cinnabon up to the schlotzsky's quality. read more
