Every single person I have interacted with has been kind, warm, and genuinely sweet. They create such a welcoming atmosphere that you want to linger instead of just rushing in and out. I often come in for coffee and a sweet treat, and it is always a great experience. Their lattes are actually really delicious, and pairing one with a pastry makes for the perfect little break in my day. Another thing I deeply appreciate is how this location shows compassion. There is a homeless gentleman who comes in quite often, and instead of being turned away or made uncomfortable, he is treated with respect. The staff know him, they allow him to sit, and they even know his personal order. Guests buy him food, and the team welcomes that with grace. That level of kindness means so much, and it says everything about the people who work here. Even though La Madeleine is a corporation, this particular location feels personal and special because of the staff. They are the reason I will keep returning. I love a good La Madeleine location--especially when they had the older, French Country interiors. (Now they look like cross between IHOP and Olive Garden.). But the food still can be really good. In the case of this location, however, the service is just really terrible (and has been pretty much since it opened). I go in, have a bad experience because the service is so terrible, and then I stay away for a while. Then, after a few months, I try it again, and it still isn't any better. I think this location's atmosphere and service are probably doing damage to the brand and other locations. 25 years ago you could go into any La Madeleine and have a great experience. Today, it isn't so. The company better wake up before they drive the value of the brand down to zero and must shut down. read more

I'm not a huge fan of this restaurant chain, although I have many friends and work coworkers who really enjoy these restaurants. I find the flavors to be slightly above average. Not super delicious nor do I crave their food. However it is good. I find the ambience to be clean and mostly locations just like this one was inside and out. The parking lot is large and does share with retail stores and even a grocery store so it might be difficult to find a parking spot right in front of the restaurant. the service for me is really at the cash register and that's where you order, so that's why I'm giving it an average three stars for services. I'm not necessarily tell me about that. They have to go to this restaurant because it's so great Norma discouraging anyone to go. I know I'll probably be back because that's a lot of times where we can meet people instead of going to like a Starbucks or another kind of restaurant so I guess it's an overall inviting atmosphere. They do play French words in the bathrooms so that's quite interesting. I placed this order through yelp via Apple Maps. Beware ordering food on here .. When I arrived at the meal was not ready but I was willing to wait. My mistake for not checking the food before I left the restaurant. However, when I got to work and seen what I received, I was highly disappointed. I drove back to the restaurant and explained that my meal was incorrect. The entire meal was incorrect. I simply requested a refund as I did not want another greasy croissant. They refuse to give me a refund. The manager explained that order is placed on here go through grub hub. However, I was trying to explain to her I need to order number because I do not have a GrubHub account and would not be able to call them without some kind of information about the order. She was unable to do so. Offering a coupon for a next visit. I simply declined and left with food that I did not want. When you walk into a chain restaurant you don't expect a lot other than for the crew to serve food that is consistent and keep the place clean and moving. The crew at this Le Madeleine has a whole different attitude. Each member of the crew is warm, friendly and welcoming. Very respectful as well. And the place is spotless. I dine at various Le Madeleine's regularly for breakfast and they are generally good, but this one stands out to me. I felt like these folks were running their own independent mom and pop cafe and each customer was important. Food was excellent. Good job guys. read more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a la Madaline. The pastries tasted like they were made two days ago. The ice tea was bitter. The staff could've cared less and when approached about how bad the pastries tasted, they just shrugged their shoulders and said sorry and turned around and walked away. This has been a staple in my life for many many many years, and although I know that not all of them are this bad the prices have gone up. The quality portions have gone down and even the staple of bread and jam that used to be a part of the cost of eating there is no longer available. If they continue to treat people like this, I know this location will not last much longer, which is a shame because it's in a neighborhood, that should support it well. Came here for breakfast this past weekend. The front door is not ADA compliant as we saw the people before and after struggling to open the front door. There was no wait. Ordered our meals and got our food quickly. The tables and dining area is well spread out. The quality of the food is cheap here. Got a bad reaction to the preservatives they use in the food.
