This is my third time coming here for their food and again it was delicious!!!! My husband and I had their gyro wraps, large rice, hummus and extra pita bread. Wow... there gyros are so flavorful and whatever sauce they have inside I asked for extra on the side cause it's that good! The food was pretty big portion size fyi... not sure why that other reviewer said it wasn't cause it's a lot of food! Lol The rice is so buttery and flavorful too, the hummus was my husband favorite. Yum! This place is a great small business with great food! Pros: * Super flavorful and moist shawarma chicken. * The Greek style salad had great vegetables and is a nice portion. Plus you can add some chicken shawarma for only $3. * Yummy bread for the wraps. Cons: * The garlic sauce and the tahini sauce lack a bit of flavor. This place is dirty. Every table in the restaurant was filthy the floor was littered with trash. The owners had the line cook cooking and taking orders and when we asked for a table to be cleaned they told the cook to go and clean it. The rice tasted old the Gyros had very little meat. The tabbouleh salad looked and tasted like it was 2 days old and only consisted of tomatoes and parsley with salt and pepper- no bulgar. Can you imagine a tabbouleh salad without the bulgar wheat??! I could have chopped up parsley and tomato myself if that's what I wanted. The rice was hard and dry. They also got my order wrong. I ordered a combo plate and they gave me a single chicken entree. Ordered two to go orders of the chicken and my husband got half and half. You can taste that the quality is poor. The food was very oily included both the meat and the rice. Cute new friendly place! Workers are very friendly and provide great service. We came in before they opened on accident and they took care of us and let us sample some of their food. My boyfriend is from Israel and says that the meat is the most authentic he's tasted in the US so far and that the shawarma is prepared the way it's supposed to be (which some Americans might not be used to) We came back after they opened and the food was really good! Waited and waited for Shawrma Grill on 79 South to open up. Well it's open and was totally worth the wait we got a gyro plate and the beef plate. During Covid, evidently they aren't open despite Yelp hours. I called 3 or 4 times to order carryout. The phone just rings and rings and then goes to voicemail, never once picked up. I'm a customer since they opened ... they used to give some great meals for our football team in high school.....really nice staff amazing food ,we always come here they have a movie or some nice relaxing music on it's so quiet and nice specially when you set outside at night with the lights on.. But ...... this time no no no we came here in the evening it's like a babysitting party I think it's the owners kids . First of all when you walk in there is a little kid on the cash I asked him how old are you he said 10 .... Then you will see the kids helping with the bread..... there was a little kid I think he was 2 or 3 he was yelling and hitting his brothers .... I mean you want your kids to play but not around customers.. also when did they raise their prices? we went on a vacation for the holidays came back to higher prices!!!!!!
