I worked with Craig Miller and his technician Ray. They installed a pool heater and remote control system. I couldn't be happier with my choice of going with Shasta. First of all, Craig came out next day when I asked for a quote. This was in the middle of the pandemic and another company I contacted didn't even want to come out at all and just asked me to send pictures. Craig knew exactly what I needed to control the pool remotely. He has experience with it and didn't try to oversell me a system with bells and whistles I would not need. Ray was very good at getting the system installed and explained to me how to operate it. Best of all, when the we had a problem with the water heater 8 month later, Craig was extremely responsive and Ray came out the next day and fixed it (it was just a blown fuse). Craig also went above and beyond helping me to troubleshoot a connectivity issue that ended up being a server problem at Pentair. We love our remote system and highly recommend Craig Miller and his technician Ray at Shasta. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Absolute Nightmare from Start to Finish. I made the mistake of hiring Shasta Pools in Phoenix for a new pool installation, followed by their "premium" weekly maintenance and service package. What a complete disaster.The installation was horrible from day one. Multiple delays pushed the project back months with little communication and constant excuses. When the pool was finally "finished," it was riddled with issues. I should have known then that this was going to be a nightmare. I pay extra for their more expensive weekly pool service, trusting them to handle everything properly, including chemical balance. Within just one year, the heater failed completely because the chemicals were way off. Now, barely a month later, the brand-new heater is broken again. Shasta Pools has been nothing but stress, excuses, and expensive repairs since day one. I would never recommend them to anyone in Arizona. Do NOT use Shasta Pools. read more

Pop up heads replaced...great service! I have a Shasta pool and love it for many years!!!

Chip came out and replaced our pop-up gears. Now the pop-up heads are functioning again. Everything went very smoothly. Also, he was able to come out within a couple days of me calling Shasta. I'm very happy with Shasta and with Chip. read more

Stay away from this company. We have a Shasta pool 23 years old. The pop-up from the cleaning system came out of their location. I BOUGHT NEW POP-UP.5 of them getting the # from the old one's that were floating on surface. It has been verified they were the right ones ! Special order from Shasta not the same store !!!! But Shasta will not send their diver to re-install the new ones !! Because i did not buy them from this location LOL .Where is customer service ???? It is OK to have them build the pool but they can not service you properly after the fact. Be aware.... I also wanted them to service the pool equipment so it was not an inexpensive visit !!! They do not have any quality controls, they continuously LIE ( I have proof via my cameras), no customer values, don't return calls, job still not correct due to their errors and will not do anything even though OUTSIDE their contract! Shasta built our pool in 2004. We used Shasta to remodel our pool around ten years ago. We've been using Shasta for all repairs since 2004. Today we called to have a cracked PCV pipe repaired. The earliest appointment was three weeks out and they requested a credit card to hold the appointment. Obviously Shasta is not adequately staffed and doesn't value long time customers. had our pool redone by shasta with a product called quartz. it is garbage. it looks like crap and after it was finished they sent me a disclaimer stating as much. the only reason they sent a disclaimer is because they know its a crap product. why else would they send a disclaimer??? the product is from a co. called pebble tech. on their website it says the product is better than plaster, and it is uniform when installed. both shasta and pebble are liars, especially the salesman who sold us on the product, "it's beautiful, you'll love the way it looks" don't EVER have your pool done by shasta, they are a lieing pool co. and we are out 11k.... read more

I had my Shasta Pool built in 2015. The popups have a lifetime warranty. The tool to remove the popups was made of cheap plastic and broke before it got even one head out. My pool guy's metal tool got 4 out before busting. I live an hour away from Shasta Parts department. Nevertheless their policy is to only replace broken parts in person. I spoke with Tory Woodward who is allegedly a warrant manager. In less than a week he forgot about a 20 minute conversation we had and didn't remember the texting chain that included a video and pics. I asked the female that told me story doesn't remember me if story was at work today. She said she just came from his office. I asked her to call him over so I could refresh his memory by showing him the call log and text chain on my phone. She immediately capitulated and gave me the part that was promised. Although I got what I wanted and I understand they need to conserve profit, they need to keep a few things in mind. My pool build was just shy of $50,000. Nickel & diming me to death is only going to cause bad feelings. They were bad enough for me to write this up and warn people to NOT use Shasta Pools. Original Shasta pool built in 2007 when the home was built. When I'm buying the house, everyone's saying "if the house has a Shasta pool, it's a good one!" "Look for the Shasta crest shield logo!" And I'm trying to figure out what happened to them, because they are not good! I've had many problems in the last 2 years of owning the house. The pump has stopped working now 3 times and it takes a technician about 14-21 business days to get out and take a look at it. What's the point of me buying an extended warranty if there is no reliability? "It's the busy season, everyone is using their pool!" Well everyone but me apparently! My pool is going to turn green now and cause many more problems due to Shasta and their awful customer service. I highly recommend you DO NOT BUY A SHASTA POOL! I bought a brand new home and reached out early in my buying process to see about getting a quote for a pool. I never got a response. I left voicemails and an email. Fast forward, half way through, they reach out via email and I respond, I got no response back. Then just shy of a week ago, I get put into a group email thread with other potential customers and the tech responds to the group and says they have a meeting with someone in surprise (I felt the hidden language was stop trying to get me customers when I already have them) so I respond immediately with when is a good time for you to come out? And almost a week later no response. I emailed Diana back and told her the company as a whole is unreliable and to take me off her list. But who sends out a mass email with people I don't know trying to solicit business. They're a trustworthy company, unlike some of the fly-by-night alternatives. I liked our foremen a lot, the office staff, and our sales representative, Herschel Holder, is a great guy. We had our Shasta salt water swimming pool installed in May 2006. About five years ago, we had the pool refinished and new equipment installed by Shasta. In October 2021, the system was losing its prime. I replaced the main filter gasket but there were no visible water leaks. But the prime would be lost overnight. Everything appeared good but the loss of prime continued. I had a leak somewhere. I called Shasta as I didn't want an unknown attempting repair. There was no loss of water from the pool. So the water was draining back into the pool. Yesterday a Shasta repairman arrived, his name is Kaden Cox. Within seconds he spotted the issue. This was the pool getting even with me! There was now a visible water leak at the motor/pump joint. Kaden disassembled the motor from the pump as gasket failure was right there. He replaced two gaskets, then reassembled the motor to pump. He also replaced the leaf filter gasket. He then turned the filter system on and my problem was fixed! I highly recommend Shasta Pool Service! read more

Shasta Pools previously was a good pool company. I had my first three pools built by them and it was a good experience. Now I would not recommend them in 2024 at all! Shasta Pools took four months to build a simple rectangle pool for me. Many days they did no pool work! There were many problems during construction! Their Builder Trend Portal on line, that they say is to give you information on your pool construction schedule is very ineffective. Workers do not show up as scheduled and most workers are from Mexico who can not speak English and arrive with not enough help! They put poor quality Travertine around my pool. There were plumbing problems and many more problems during construction! Shasta is selling more pools that they have workers for. I had to call corporate to get them moving on my pool construction. It was a very stressful experience. Very poor communication and work ethics! Choose another pool company. read more

This is just an FYI for those of you that require a new Pool light. It would do you good to shop around, I did. When we bought the house last year, the previous owners had the light replaced by Shasta, $450. It lasted less than a year. When calling for a quote, they gave me a price of over $1000! Well needless to say, I inquired to get an idea of competitive pricing. I ended up with same lamp, installed by another pool service, $180. Just passing this on. read more
