Was in town visiting a friend and wanted to eat locally before hitting the road. I asked for suggestions and her favorite place she claimed was sharkys. We grabbed a table for three and I had the meatloaf lunch special for $9 since it was a weekday deal happening on Tuesday. Her friend had the eggs Benedict and my friend I was visiting had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. We all had coffee to drink as we needed the caffeine to survive the rest of the day mentally. The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes with gravy and corn on the cob. The two breakfast options included delicious potatoes on the side as well. First, I can positively say that the food was great! So thank you for that. However, I will never go here again due to the rude woman named Delilah who works there. I went in with my gf for a birthday breakfast for myself and we were sat at the bar top as there were no tables available. The woman behind the bar who was directly in front of us polishing silverware just stared right through us and didn't acknowledge us. We sat there for close to 5 minutes and weren't handed a menu or offered drinks. I asked for a menu to both the woman and the man working and the woman didn't say anything as the man brought us menus. The man proceeded to serve us. Mind you, the woman - supposedly Delilah - was in front of us behind the bar the entire time. At the end, we were given a check, but no Venmo scan card to pay. We waited a few minutes and I looked at her and politely asked for the Venmo scan and she looked right at me and did not say a thing. Finally, the male brought us the scan and we paid and left. I'm not sure why she had such an attitude, but this was extremely uncomfortable and completely ruined the birthday experience. Some the worst service I've received. We had a party of six on a Sunday morning. We expected a wait as it was a busy time, but we were a-okay with that. Right from the get go, the waitress that took our name was super rude. We stayed, and were eventually seated. And that's where the story ends. The busser brought drinks and then we were blatantly ignored. We sat their for at least twenty minutes before we decided to try and get a waitress's attention to just pay for our drinks. That took another ten minutes. We sat and watched other tables that were seated after us get their orders taken. While we were waiting, the cook yelled out multiple times, "foods still sitting here," after yelling "order up." The wait staff and him definitely did not seem to get along. They have a weekday specials menu for $9. Hubby ordered the French Dip. It came loaded with shaved roast beef, melted cheese on a hoagie with au jus and a side of your choice. I ordered the chicken arugula salad for $11. It was served on a bed of mixed greens, tomatoes slices, red onions, and goat cheese. The grilled chicken was tender and delicious. I didn't care for the dressing unfortunately. Service was fast and courteous. We would definitely stop here again in the future. read more

Very rude service. We were greeted warmly and thought we would be directed to our table. No. She handed us our menus and silverware and gave us directions to sit upstairs. I could not believe it. I understand places saying pick a seat but have never had to do that before. Then as we were ordering, nothing complicated and our server very rude from start to finish. At the end when we were going to pay I pulled my card out and she firmly said we do not take card. We were never told that when walking in nor when we were ordering.
