It was good to have a home -cooked meal and all the kids got to choose breakfast or lunch. There was no food left on anyone's plate. The owner was sweet and talked about the place and food. Thank for being open during the pandemic and making such delicious breakfast goodies !! Unfortunately they're still take out only but they a good system down. You can order online ahead of time. Walk up the window and the gentleman will hand you your order. We came in to order at the window. They have plenty of patio seating for you to lounge around in. The menu is limited so just remember that! We had the options of fuego huevos, huevos rancheros, blueberry pancakes, chicken fried steak, $5 burrito, basic BFAST. I see why everyone comes and gets the burrito. It has to be that darn shell! We tried to get the pancakes but they were out of blueberries and strawberry pancakes did not see appealing to us. We got the chicken fried steak and huevos rancheros. Chicken fried steak is a nice thick patty with delicious sausage gravy on top. The huevos rancheros were smothered in their green chili. We grabbed breakfast and then enjoyed a wonderful view of the mountains from the patio. The hazelnut iced coffee really hit the spot and the huevos rancheros were perfect. The strawberry jam was gone first; too delicious to pass up. Next we tucked into our fried potatoes and the bacon, jalapeño, cheddar scramble. I've been coming to the Fraser Valley for years, but had never been to this fine establishment. I had the huevos rancheros and they were delish. Service was friendly and efficient. We grabbed a table for three and I had the meatloaf lunch special for $9 since it was a weekday deal happening on Tuesday. Her friend had the eggs Benedict and my friend I was visiting had a breakfast sandwich on a croissant. We all had coffee to drink as we needed the caffeine to survive the rest of the day mentally. The meatloaf came with mashed potatoes with gravy and corn on the cob. The two breakfast options included delicious potatoes on the side as well. Stopped for the night on the way to steamboat. We were told this was a great joint for a quick breakfast. Ordered 2 of the chorizo and green Chile burrito and an order of the French toast. First, I can positively say that the food was great! So thank you for that. However, I will never go here again due to the rude woman named Delilah who works there. I went in with my gf for a birthday breakfast for myself and we were sat at the bar top as there were no tables available. The woman behind the bar who was directly in front of us polishing silverware just stared right through us and didn't acknowledge us. We sat there for close to 5 minutes and weren't handed a menu or offered drinks. I asked for a menu to both the woman and the man working and the woman didn't say anything as the man brought us menus. The man proceeded to serve us. Mind you, the woman - supposedly Delilah - was in front of us behind the bar the entire time. At the end, we were given a check, but no Venmo scan card to pay. We waited a few minutes and I looked at her and politely asked for the Venmo scan and she looked right at me and did not say a thing. Finally, the male brought us the scan and we paid and left. I'm not sure why she had such an attitude, but this was extremely uncomfortable and completely ruined the birthday experience. Some the worst service I've received. We had a party of six on a Sunday morning. We expected a wait as it was a busy time, but we were a-okay with that. Right from the get go, the waitress that took our name was super rude. We stayed, and were eventually seated. And that's where the story ends. The busser brought drinks and then we were blatantly ignored. We sat their for at least twenty minutes before we decided to try and get a waitress's attention to just pay for our drinks. That took another ten minutes. We sat and watched other tables that were seated after us get their orders taken. While we were waiting, the cook yelled out multiple times, "foods still sitting here," after yelling "order up." The wait staff and him definitely did not seem to get along.
