Loaded waffle fries and spicy margarita

Fun place to grab a drink and bite midday or after a day on the slopes. Eclectic music but not so loud that you can't carry a convo - perfect to create a "vibe"

Good times!

Cool atmosphere, good service. If you're planning on drinking any IPAs, be sure to confirm whether they are canned or on tap. We didn't, and were a little disappointed, but that's OK. Most of the food that we had was par for the course bar food. I felt like I made a really good choice with my Philly. I think I enjoyed my food more than everyone else. My fam got chicken fingers and a burger and they were just ok. If you happen to be in Winter Park, this is a great spot to eat, and/or have drinks.

Double Classic burger

Snowfall at Stoney's Winter Park transforms the atmosphere into a winter wonderland, complemented by the warmth of exceptional service and the delightful taste of the Stoney's classic burger - a perfect blend of snowy enchantment and culinary delight.

Stoney's!!!! (Insert huge smile and satisfaction all around here!) Winter Park resort is located right across the street from the restaurant. When the group I was with picked this place I was apprehensive; saying "ugh, let me Yelp this place and see what greasy food they have that's going to give me a stomach ache). Baybeeeee to my surprise the food and service were top 10! The ambiance was cute too with a mix between high tops, booths and regular tables. It was 8 of us in our party and the wait staff handled us with ease and humor. One waitress seemed to be training and didn't make it seem like it at all! Everyone enjoyed there food, we had pork green chili, bison burgers, philly cheese steak and salads. Mmmmm, so good! Also, special shout out to the hilarious waitress who's dad is a poet!

I wish we would have found this place on the first day that we arrived in WP. Great burgers, tot, fries and outstanding service!

Might be the best happy hour at the base. And a fantastic whiskey selection. Gets a little crazy during apres.

So, no parking pass meant we stopped at A Frame instead. And, seriously, best decision ever. As soon as you walk in, you know this place is different. We came in during the winter holidays and loved the decorations, the small touches and the festive space. Think minimal elegance with a chill vibe. We headed to the bar and enjoyed some really well made craft cocktails. Staff were awesome - really friendly, attentive and shared some laughs with us. While we only had drinks (that were soooo good!), we were already bookmarking A Frame to return for dinner. If our cocktails were any indication of what's to come, we're in.

We absolutely loved this place - both the stay in the cabin and the restaurant were amazing. Its a…read morelittle pricey for a night but very worth it because you get so much space to yourself and access to the amenities. The restaurant food was awesome - we got the charcuterie, burger and lamb pasta then finished the night with the cookie skillet which was my personal favorite. The staff was extremely friendly and made us feel right at home and the ambiance inside was so cozy, a perfect spot for winter. Also grabbed breakfast burritos and coffee from the restaurant in the morning too, they have bagels and alcohol for sale as well!

Very nice cozy restaurant with Michelin star type food. The rib eye steak was incredible. Negroni…read moredrink was perfect. Smoked salmon was amazing. Solid service but the place is just a little small and I can see how they get overwhelmed with customers at times. It will depend on the day but make sure to make reservations because yes, the food is that good you might be waiting. Five star food all day long the best food in Winter Park.

Look, let's be honest. There are some nice places in Grand County to grab a bite to eat. But really…read morefine dining? Not so much. The folks at the Wild Horse Inn used to run Solstice as a kinda pop-up restaurant in Fraser next to the Safeway in the winter when they weren't catering weddings and events during the summers. But then the Fanches who own Devil's Thumb bought the Inn owners out for over $3 mill a while back when they were on their way to buying up the whole county. So what happened to Solstice? Well, for a fraction of that price some sweet hard-workin' folks bought the Wild Horse catering business and . . . wait for it . . . yes . . . Solstice. Now (sweet) Sue and her partner have just started running Solstice as a full-time restaurant and boy does it rock. The place only seats around 25 people, but it'll be worth the wait (once everyone comes to understand that the place is now regularly open all the time this place is going to be jammed!). This new policy just started a couple/three weeks ago so when we came in last night the room was lightly used and we had a chance to visit with Sue, who's about one of the kindest best bartenders/servers/owners ever. We decided to make dinner out of five of their tapas offerings, starting with a super fresh and delicious salad, and followed by their smoked salmon crostini, dates with (spicy!) capicola skewers, ridiculously delicious scallops, and a really savory "burnt ends" dish of pork belly bites and crispy(!) mini-ravioli. Can't believe we had room for dessert, but the flourless chocolate tart with homemade whipped cream and raspberry preserve sauce was something we couldn't resist. (Next time I'm coming for you Mr. Key Lime pie:). All in all, a truly fine dining experience at a reasonable price point. So the bottom line is that this is great news for Grand County: the addition of a wonderful new restaurant serving really excellent food right in the heart of Fraser! 2
