Make sure you stop in Fraser and grab lunch or dinner and a drink at Fraser Valley Distilling, you will be glad you did. We arrived around noon on a Friday to grab lunch and a drink on our way to Granby. We were the only people inside until a few more tables filled up within an hour. We sat at the bar, which is oddly tall so, as a short person was not very comfortable. After taking time to read through their extensive cocktail menu, I got the passion fruit martini. It was delicious!!! Sweet and tart at the same time. It went down easy. My husband had eaten here before so we ordered the cornbread upon his suggestion. It is in the top three corn reads I have ever had! I got the pulled pork sandwich and the side of pickled items. Wow, both were well prepared. The pulled pork sandwich was perfectly filling and the BBQ sauce was smooth with a subtle pepperiness. When we come the Fraser, we will be stopping again. A place that is worth stopping for lunch and yes for the Bourbon. Even though it's a MGP product, if you didn't know in a blind taste test it pretty good. You can certainly tell there's not much age on it. Nevertheless a good set of offerings, not a fan of single malts or gin, so won't have any comments there. Really solid food menu. The drinks here are really fantastic. The food is also very good but come here and try the cocktails. I love the moose theme in their logo and around the on the walls. It's a great place to hang out. Great service and really good tasting drinks. I would highly recommend the low ABV peach tea ginger liqueur drink. Other hits were the turmeric mule, and the dirty martini. No one in our party is into whiskey so didn't they any of those. They make all their liqueurs in house. They also sell to go/pre mixed cocktails for sale. For the food, I would say the buffalo cauliflower and fries were fantastic. The Mac and Cheese was a little gritty/dry for my taste, I like a thinner more pasta enveloping cheese sauce. Stopped into the distillery for happy hour after a hike. We expected to have a couple drinks and go somewhere else for dinner but ended up spending nearly three hours enjoying cocktails, the cheese board, Mac and cheese, fried chicken, Brussels sprouts, talking to one of the owners, doing tastings... it goes on and on. So glad we turned into Fraser Valley Distilling for dinner after the drive from Denver. Since there was a long wait for a table, we grabbed two seats at the bar which turned out to be a great spot. I appreciated their full list of mocktails in addition to their housemade cocktails. From the bar, we had a front-row view of the staff in action--busy but clearly enjoying their work, which says a lot about the place. The crowd was a mix of locals, always a good sign. The food was fantastic. While the BBQ sandwich was delicious, it was the humble side salad which blew me away: fresh, creative, and well-made. Was recommended this place from a local and we are so glad we listened! For drinks we tried the rye old fashioned and the citrus and turmeric cocktail. Both were so good. My favorite was the citrus gin and turmeric because it was super light and refreshing. For food, we got the fries, the buffalo cauliflower, the Mac and cheese, and the brussel sprouts. The fries were good but the spicy aioli was the star. The buffalo cauliflower is a must - we got two plates. The Mac and cheese was delicious. The only thing that was a little lackluster was the Brussels sprouts. When compared to everything else we tried, we felt the flavor was lacking. Pleasant place to sit outside or inside. They have some fun drink choices. I got a tea mixed with a ginger infused alcohol. It was light and nice . Food was fine. The Buffalo cauliflower was soggy and seemed like it was microwaved after being fried hours ago. Best thing I ate was the special salad which was excellent. Great spot right in Fraser serving delicious drinks and food. They have an extensive old fashioned menu which includes some variations on the original which are fun to try. One of my favorites for winter is the allspice old fashioned - very cozy vibes! The food is very good and comes in large portion sizes, so you won't leave hungry. Excellent cocktails! Beautiful ambience, friendly staff, quick service. Menu posted on Yelp by others includes items that are NO longer on the menu :( such as the pastrami sandwich and cheese curds. The pulled pork sandwich bbq sauce had some kick to it, I wish when a kid had ordered it they would have told us or offered for the bbq sauce to be served on the side...kid left hungry and eating off everyone else's plate. The Eggplant parmigiana appetizer was such an unexpected delightful dish! The fries with the garlic aloi were delish. Yum! Love this newish distillery/restaurant in Fraser! We came here on Sunday with friends and our littles while they were offering their brunch menu. I had the avocado toast which was SUPER tasty and 5 stars all the way. I would order that again and again. I also had a grey hound cocktails with their own gin and freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. It was perfectly tart and just the way I like it! Hubs had the fried chicken biscuit which he really liked. The biscuit is made in house (of course I tried it- yum!) and the chicken is super crispy and delicious. He also had an old-fashioned (a bit on the sweet side) and a bloody mary (perfection!). Our friends got the brunch board which was full of goodies - waffles, fried chicken strips, biscuits, etc. It also came with this awesome fresno jam which Hubs used on his chicken biscuit. It should really come with it. It was so good! I could put it on almost anything, I think. The littles had waffles which were so light and fluffy! My daughter ate hers in its entirety. We also had a few orders of fries. These aren't super crispy but they are delicious and salty. Our friends also ordered a whiskey flight and we walked away with 6 bottles! The Colorado Rye was incredible! That's the only one I tried but I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to sample more. We came in on a Sunday afternoon without reservations and were able to get a nice outdoor table. It was relatively busy outside. I ordered the gin and tonic for happy hour and it was really good. However, when I ordered the second one, it didn't come until I was almost done with my meal and at that point I didn't really want it. We ordered the mac & cheese to start, but that never showed up. My friend ordered bacon on her salad and we were charged for it, but she didn't get it. It wasn't until after we drove away that she remembered she had ordered it, so it was too late to have it taken off the bill. I was wanting to come in the whole weekend we were in town, so I was stoked we had the time. We came in around happy hour timing for an appetizer and our first drinks for the night. We ended up getting the cheese curds (recommended) and OMG THE BATTER WAS THE BEST. Super crispy, airy, I'm dreaming about them. So freaking good. I got a "Granhattan" - their take on a Manhattan, and again, OMG. Traditional cocktail with tons of flavor. My fiancé got a whiskey flight, and he was super impressed. Fraser Valley Distilling is a great spot with a *lot* of potential. They're located on the piece of land that used to host the old 'Ditch' location before it moved to downtown WP and prior to that, Timberline Thai. FVD has made a *serious* investment in the building & production facility that comprises (I'd guess 50%+ of) the back of the house. The drinks were fantastic, the food was good; but man... was our service slow. I get it: getting staff is quite a challenge right now, and they were short staffed. I know FVD will get it sorted-out, they're in it for the long haul. I'm a massive supporter of locals, so give this place a try... it's worth it read more

I lived in Wisconsin for a few years and I know a good cheese curd, this place has MOUTH WATERING cheese curds. Like delicious. An absolute must. We also got a plate of fries with multiple dipping sauces for the table to try and it was soooooo good. I really loved the basil aioli.
