Sharky's was recommended to us after staying the weekend at Winter Park Ski resort by family, my girlfriend's brother. We did not want the high priced resort breakfast, we wanted the mountain local eats, something to soak up the hang over, something that we could then recommend to others. This place is small, with a tiny entry way or very breezy breeze way to wait in. A chalk board holds your name as a waiting line. For a Saturday morning, we expected to wait, but had no idea what to expect. 15 minutes would have been bearable in a chair, but not packed in a busy doorway opening and closing. We did get to catch up on the local for hire ads, cars for sale and local babysitters on the bulletin cork board. The decor was of the tropics or sailboats or some islands someplace not Colorado. It was a bit out of place as we walked in from a bitter bitter cold trying to keep the door closed to not freeze everyone inside. We were the only ones that thought of others, everyone else kept the door wide open asking where to sit, where's Billy and how long the wait was. Our food was alright, what we expected, average. Four of us sat around the small table and all enjoyed our breakfast dishes. The coffee was advertised as high quality, I thought it was also average. Our food was good. Local flavor, character and typical dishes. Nothing extraordinary. What I really wanted to share was my breakfast burrito full of egg shells. Not appetizing. Not a good taste or feeling to have an egg shell in a bit of food, blow it off and then find more. It was a real turn off and I had to stop eating my food. I started searching my breakfast burrito and found large pieces of egg shell. Other than this, which I thought WAS a big deal, our experience was good. I'd come back to Sharky's, but I would not go out of my way. I'd take on a different recommendation if I had the option. read more

We were on our way back from a stay in Grand Lake when we spotted this little gem nestled just off the main drag in Fraser. I just knew is was going to be cool and it was. The place is an old A frame ish type building with a beachy theme that now holds this little eatery. The decor is bright and light and the dining is close quarters downstairs. Looked like they also had some seating upstairs but it was shut down. I ordered the Eggs Benedict sans the hollandaise with an upgrade of Avocado and Tomato for $1.00 which was hot, tasty and almost big enough for two. Make sure you get there before 2:00 pm because that's when they close. read more

Awesome little breakfast joint. I was tired worn out couldnt breathe. grumpy cold. and this place warmed me right up! The service was friendly and so helpful. I think I was the only one in there who was not a regular or family friend. Im sure If I had gone 2 more times I would have been! Food was great little grill diner style. Read plenty of other yelper's reviews and still decided to try this place based on the fact that no one complained about the quality of food. Upon entering, the first floor was spacious and had bright filtered natural lighting, high ceiling, lots of green plants & flowers in & out, cute shaded outdoor seating. The upstairs was warmer & more intimate with great view through large windows. You can tell the owner put in lots of thoughts in deco & in creating a comfy honey vibe! We ordered the usual - I had vegetarian potato something with sunny side up. My friend had a breakfast burrito which he had to have it to go due to the large serving portion. The strawberry rhubarb pie, homemade strawberry jam & salsas verde y rojo are to die for!!! As a picky dirt bag climber who's always critiquing on breakfast joints around the nation, I'm very happy with food, deco & vibe. Def will come back if ever visit Fraser again. read more

If you are passing thru Frazier it is a Fun place to have breakfast. The food we ordered was excellent. I'd recommend the biscuits and gravy. We had juice and coffee. The juice was good. The coffee Was a bit disappointing. The portions are very big. It is easy to share. The restaurant is small so when it is busy expect a wait. read more

Best burrito tacos in town and neighboring town, especially if you gotta get up and go and don't have the time to sit and eat.

When we walked into the place, it was hopping with activity. I am not sure if this was the norm for the place, or if it was the Friday before a holiday weekend. Staff was very slow at getting our orders and serving food. I asked for some specialty stuff and the restaurant did not mess it up. That's always a plus for the picky eaters. I spoke to the owner asking about the name. He said when his sister bought the business they changed the name. Everyone still called it 'Sharkey's who was local. He went in on the business with his sister a few years later and they changed the name back to Sharkey's. Food was ok, not great. My food wasn't cold, but it wasn't hot either. I would possibly go back on a less busy day and try a salad. read more

CASH ONLY! Have heard about Sharky's for years and finally had time (& they were open) to stop in Monday 7/3 around 7:45 for breakfast. Just me so sat at 6-seat counter by a couple of locals. They reco'd huevos rancheros (my favorite: hard to find in MO) so went with that & coffee (not the strongest coffee) to eat there and Fuego Huevos to-go. Only one server, a busser & sounded like 'just one' cook, but they all hustled! Glanced around and the Chef's Special looked tasty so added that to my to-go order. Local gents got up to leave & I noticed inside was full as was patio. Huevos were delivered along with coffee topoff & I dug in. Huevos over hard eggs were perfect, beans weren't at the spice level I've had most places but the potatoes were amazing (freshly prepared, not the usual 'from frozen'). My three entrees plus coffee was $37, which was a great buy. When I left about 8:30, line on sidewalk was halfway to Hwy 34. And don't forget: CASH ONLY! read more

The waitress asked me if I wanted change back, implying she wanted all the change as a tip. That is extremely rude. I'll decide what I want to tip. I said, yes, I want the change back. Great coffee. California Benedict was awesome. This is definitely the place to be for great food that is served quickly. A locals hangout for sure but everyone is friendly and you can get some good pointers for things to do in the area here. Everything was delicious and fresh. read more

Read Yelp and as always take the good and the bad. However, for us oldER folks Sharky's is beyond 10 star green chili ~ we lived in Corrales NM for 7 years so we know chili. We love good chili and the Heuvos Ranchos was delicious. Potatoes were great too. Husband enjoyed BandG Oh and the homemade jam YUM. This place was going to be a 5 star review until the bill came. Really cute little place to stop and get breakfast. Super friendly staff and they keep the food moving. We all ordered the breakfast burritos because they are delicious. They have delicious eggs, potatoes, and your meat of choice if desired. They are also smothered in the most delicious sauce. Someone in our group asked for extra salsa and they said sure no problem. Well they brought out a tiny bit of pico and charged us $1.50 for it. I guess we just aren't use to that, because I feel like if you are going to charge a customer for something they should know. Overall the food was excellent and we will be back! read more

I had a real nice experience with my son here last weekend. We came up to ski at Winter Park/Mary Jane for closing weekend. We usually go to Carvers for breakfast, before skiing, but they were closed for the season. We drove a bit further and found Sharky's, what a cool little spot. Our waitress was very friendly and was helpful on walking us through the menu. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich with two fried eggs on top; yes, heavy breakfast for a full day of skiing! My son ordered the salmon Benedict, which he really liked! Solid experience, we will go back next season. read more

A great local place for breakfast or lunch! Breakfast burrito is generous and spicy. Homemade jam is delicious and you can buy a jar to take home. Breakfast tacos are ready to pick up for a quick grab and go meal for skiers. Bloody Mary cocktail, spicy or regular, is delicious. Since about 2021 coming out of the pandemic we've stopped at any time passing through Winterpark. Today we came by and first off the Waitress seemed extremely put off by the fact that we had a party of 6, 3 of which were kids. The first thing she said to us is it would be 16-20 minutes for them to bus a table for us. There were a couple tables already available which could have been easily pushed together but no big deal. While I was trying to corral our two youngest to sit on the bench in the entry way the same waitress came by and told us "don't block the door" as we were trying to exit the restaurant to stand outside to wait for our table. She again came by and rudely told my wife who was trying to walk out the door "don't block the door". Way to treat families!! Clearly we won't ever be back and we recommend if you aren't a local pass this place by, obviously we weren't welcome. read more

This place is excellent. Small patio, but we still managed to fit our dog too! Food was fresh, fast and service was very good. Apparently they only take cash though? Welcome to 2019, we all pay fees. Don't isolate a bunch of people telling them to get cash. As someone in marketing I am telling you that for your own good. Food was great, wife loved her coffee but said her eggs were very salty but still were ok overall. We did enjoy it overall though. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food, fast turnaround times on a busy time/day, truly a great experience in Fraser. Saw reviews for this cute breakfast stop and decided to give it a try! Due to Covid they have a limited menu, however, the chicken fried steak and eggs was delicious! Payment could be done with cash or Venmo which we thought was handy. Highly recommend this local joint. read more

We were at Sharky's twice during our visit in Fraser. The staff was very friendly. The food was okay. One time I got the breakfast burrito with green chili. I didn't really care for the green chili sauce as much as I've had and other places in the past. The second time, I ended up getting the breakfast sandwich on a bagel, which I thought was a much better option. in general, I would probably go here again, but thought the food was ok at best. One other point if you do go, remember to bring cash since they do not take credit cards. read more

This was a pretty disappointing experience for me. I am generally not one to go out of my way to write a negative review, but this really warranted it. Take note that this is specifically about ordering for a 'to-go' breakfast. I would have expected the same quality since To-Go ordering is advertised at the top of their web page, obviously I was mistaken. So, to begin, I had to call six times to get someone to answer. I kept getting hung up on. Finally tried on a different phone and got through. I placed an order for one of their specialized eggs benedict (AB it's called, with sausage) with the hollondaise on the side and an extra egg. I also ordered some french toast and their breakfast Philly sandwich. At the end of my order it was read back to me and then the phone was hung up on the other side. They didn't take my name, phone number, or anything - I found that quite odd. I arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes after ordering and waited about another 20 minutes to actually leave. The place is busy so this is understandable but I feel that mentioning it would have been courteous. The waitress confirmed my order with me as I described it on the phone (with the changes) and accepted my payment. I grabbed my food and left. Upon arrival back to my condo in Winter Park I opened up the breakfast to find that they had not only given me the wrong eggs benedict per the menu, but also left the hollondaise on it, and not given me the extra egg that I had paid for. Not very cool. My buddies with me didn't really enjoy their food, either. I sure hope this takeout experience isn't representative of this restaurant, but I really didn't enjoy the ordering process or the food itself. read more

This place has their shit together. The food is good, but more importantly these people execute. All restaurants everywhere are understaffed and busier than normal. But unlike other restaurants that are using post covid as an excuse, the staff here is stepping up in a big way. Huge props to the solo waitress who somehow is able to seat everyone, take orders, AND check in to make sure everything is going well. And huge shout out to the kitchen staff who is churning out orders without compromising quality. And it's all smiles and good attitudes. We know you're overworked, but you hide it well.
