This was a pretty disappointing experience for me. I am generally not one to go out of my way to write a negative review, but this really warranted it. Take note that this is specifically about ordering for a 'to-go' breakfast. I would have expected the same quality since To-Go ordering is advertised at the top of their web page, obviously I was mistaken. So, to begin, I had to call six times to get someone to answer. I kept getting hung up on. Finally tried on a different phone and got through. I placed an order for one of their specialized eggs benedict (AB it's called, with sausage) with the hollondaise on the side and an extra egg. I also ordered some french toast and their breakfast Philly sandwich. At the end of my order it was read back to me and then the phone was hung up on the other side. They didn't take my name, phone number, or anything - I found that quite odd. I arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes after ordering and waited about another 20 minutes to actually leave. The place is busy so this is understandable but I feel that mentioning it would have been courteous. The waitress confirmed my order with me as I described it on the phone (with the changes) and accepted my payment. I grabbed my food and left. Upon arrival back to my condo in Winter Park I opened up the breakfast to find that they had not only given me the wrong eggs benedict per the menu, but also left the hollondaise on it, and not given me the extra egg that I had paid for. Not very cool. My buddies with me didn't really enjoy their food, either. I sure hope this takeout experience isn't representative of this restaurant, but I really didn't enjoy the ordering process or the food itself. read more

This place has their shit together. The food is good, but more importantly these people execute. All restaurants everywhere are understaffed and busier than normal. But unlike other restaurants that are using post covid as an excuse, the staff here is stepping up in a big way. Huge props to the solo waitress who somehow is able to seat everyone, take orders, AND check in to make sure everything is going well. And huge shout out to the kitchen staff who is churning out orders without compromising quality. And it's all smiles and good attitudes. We know you're overworked, but you hide it well. My husband and I spotted Sharky's on our way home from a lovely getaway in the mountains. It looked super cute on the outside, so we decided to stop...and I was so glad that we did! I loved the tropical-themed decor, which was a nice change from typical mountain town eateries. The menu was fairly extensive, with lots of dishes that sounded amazing. I decided on the Country Benedict- homemade biscuits topped with sausage, eggs, and country gravy. It was exactly what I wanted, and totally hit the spot! Eggs were cooked perfectly, over easy. The biscuits were fluffy, soft, and went superbly with that delicious gravy. The hashbrown potatoes were good...nothing spectacular, but good (and sans onions, thank god). Stopping here was like the cherry on top of a wonderful-winter-wonderland-weekend sundae. We left happy, with full tummies, and headed back to warm and snowless Denver. read more

The place is very limited on seating (and could use an expansion on the 2nd level). 2. The wait time for a table can be long due to limited seating. I have never had a better breakfast! Seriously, the best breakfast that I have ever had! I had the special, a tamale benedict, which consisted of a massive homemade pork tamale with soft boiled egg and spicy hollandaise sauce. It was something out of the heavens! Creamy with perfectly soft boiled eggs and just the right amount of spice. It was served alongside crispy fried potatoes with bits of bacon. It was amazing! My dad got the pancakes along with his meal and they were also an experience. Super crispy on the outside, thin but light and super flavorful. My moms meal consisted of something accompanied with toast and homemade jam. The jam was so good. I honestly should have paid better attention to what others in my party were enjoying but I was so into my own meal, I didn't notice. I wouldn't hesitate to eat here for every meal. I wonder if they have a punch card? Go here! Eat! It's worth it. If you go early, you'll beat the rush! read more

Went to this place to grab breakfast after a wedding we went to in Fraser. It looked good and had good reviews. We showed up and there was a little bit of a wait, which is usually a good sign. Unfortunately it was disappointing. The coffee was pretty terrible (disclaimer - we are kind of coffee snobs haha). The food was really bland. My girlfriend's burrito was mostly potatoes and just had a cut up sausage patty thrown in there. The green chili was nothing to write home about either. The omelet I had wasn't much better. The bacon was nice and crisp but the egg was dry and lacked seasoning. Plus the goat cheese wasn't even melted. The service was alright. Our waitress was nice and did her best, but the place was very under staffed for a Sunday morning brunch. We won't be going back next time we are in town. read more

I really liked this little place. And I do mean little. There are only about 6 or 7 tables here, but there is one large one to accommodate bigger groups. I ordered the huevos which were served on crispy corn tortillas (my choice for the corn instead of flour). Decent green chile, eggs cooked nicely, all in all an okay meal. Robin ordered skinny (no hollandaise sauce) benedict with avocado and tomato. Avacado slices were a little bruised and ugly, the kind of thing that should be caught before heading off the line. It's a comfortable place where clearly the locals hang out and tourists like us stumble upon. I don't think you can go wrong with the food here. read more

The good, food was alright, staple breakfast diner food. I was satisfied and, given the state I was in, I was happy to take anything that didn't make me feel worse. Downside, oh so slow with the coffee, I almost got up to get it myself. I'm a bit puzzled about the shark theme, being up a mountain in a land-locked state, but it amused. This place is a great local place to eat. If you have not eaten here you are missing out. The kids love the bear pancakes and the extra large hot chocolates. Food is great and at a good price. You know the place is good when the cops get their food there. The jam made by the owner is the best so if you can't stop in to eat you should swing by just to buy the jam. A Sunday late-lunch serendipity. (We arrived about 1:45pm.) Our vegetarian family of four, inc our profoundly disabled youngest child, was driving down the road on the lookout for a place to eat a late lunch. Our usual spots were operating on ... um, "flexible" schedules (meaning: not as advertised, closing w-a-y earlier than promised). We passed Sharky's and thought it looked cute + funky, which we like. The people working there appeared genuinely kind and helpful, quickly bussing a table to accommodate our youngest kiddo. The menu is deliciously extensive with lots of vegetarian options, inc vegetarian chile! (It was really good.) We had both breakfast and lunch dishes (a yummy homemade veggie patty on one of their burgers), and all were delicious and served very quickly. I was shocked the bill wasn't higher (everything was accounted for -- it's just inexpensive). The restau wasn't full but there were people there, and a large group came in after us, and it appeared they were also quickly accommodated. The servers were friendly, and as the earlier diners left before us, the young men working there issued a lovely and genuine sounding "thanks" and "goodbye." It kinda took me by surprise given it's a tourist town, so I figured they'd be burned out by us. But they gave every indication to the contrary. An all-around positive experience. read more

Starting on a positive note: Went here with 5 other friends and the food was great...After finally getting sat.. It seems they favor locals over everyone else. We understood this was a small place but several groups that came in after us got sat at tables that could've been put together for ours. After being sat I ordered an Irish coffee. A few minutes later the girl that was serving us(Danielle????) said she was just waiting on a new pot of coffee. As we were sitting there I saw the new pot of coffee being served to everyone that ordered coffee and I never received mine. The girl never came back and apparently completely forgot about it.
