I go to Sharetea often, mainly due to the close proximity to where I live. It's a pretty good boba place that my friends and I like to go to after school. They only sell one-sized drinks but it's pretty good for what you pay for. It's pretty inexpensive for boba around the area. The service is very good. I love this place and apparently so does everyone judging by the long weekend lines. What sets this place apart from the other Sharetea locations in the East Bay is that you'll never have to risk your life and car for a parking spot; plenty of those here! Mango Green Milk Tea is my go-to drink but sometimes I'll switch it up to a Taro Milk Tea which are both equally bomb. Credit card and cash are both good here and plenty of seating to go around. The first time i had their mango smoothie with boba was amazing. Several visits after it was jusk ok. They cheap out on the ice cream and boba. I would not recommend this place if you are in a hurry for a milk tea. First of all, it took me 25 minutes to get my order. I ordered 4 drinks and I did not expected this to be this long. Was excited when I realized there was an east bay location near my place instead of just in sf. They're super friendly and always remind everyone to get their stamp card stamped or make sure everyone has a stamp card. Only down side is they don't typically have enough people working and they take a bit longer making the drinks, no matter what time of the day you go in. I've gone in a few times when they've opened and there was only one person there so they had to take the orders *and* make the drinks while the line got longer and longer. First time trying creama. It's... interesting. I know I'm super late to the party, but this was my first visit to any Sharetea location, so I naturally opted to try their signature drink. My lady had been to another before, and had tried the creama drinks without me, so I've been meaning to see what all the fuss was about. I ordered the Mango Green Tea Creama and the little lady went for the Hokkaido Pearl Milk Tea, which was a "caramel toffee" flavor. While ordering, the girl behind the counter was kind enough to explain how to properly drink the creama - cut two slits on the seal, taste the creama, then the tea, and then mix and enjoy. 3 drinks in one! I followed her directions and here are my findings: The creama is... interesting. It's thick, not entirely sweet, and definitely salty. I thought it kind of tasted like cheesecake, but one you can drink? The mango green tea was sweet and refreshing, and had tiny bits of fruit at the bottom. Tasty. When mixed together, the creama defintely changes the flavor, and takes the lead. All in all, I would have to say that this was not really my cup of.. tea. Ba dum, tss. haha. The mango green tea was good, but the creama, I feel, is a little out of place. Just my opinion anyway. Glad to have tried it though. Call me boring, but I'd rather pair my tea with good old fashioned boba pearls, or even pudding instead of creama. The shop is nice, cute decor with plenty of seating. It's in a relatively big shopping plaza, so parking is plentiful. You need to ask for a key if you want to use their restrooms. Overall, a good spot to grab boba and kick it with friends. read more

Came here on a whim and tried milk tea for the first time, didn't really like it but they happily exchanged it for a hot brew tea at no charge to me. Finally there is a Sharetea closer to me! I came here and got the mango iced creama tea with 30% sweet. It was good but tasted a little too sweet still. Service was good, got my drink promptly. I've always seen my friend post pictures of share tea so when I was in town I decided to stop by. they have a daily special each day gets a special drink or buy one get one free. Today was Wednesday and the peach tea was offered for $3! I liked that they asked you how sweet you want it so that the taste is just right for you. My taste buds decided 80% was perfect. The green tea in this drink was a little bit of a kick for me but it was just the right amount of kick for a caffeine dose. Next time I want to try a milk tea. I also really liked their Decor on the inside. Decor is one of my favorite things when going to a coffee/tea/boba shop. i thought this place was good over all. read more

Thank goodness they opened one at Greenhouse! I no longer need to drive to union city. There's much to choose from their menu, but since it's their soft opening you can choose from their fruit teas or milk tea selections. However, when they start selling other drinks I recommend the matcha with fresh milk...it's my favorite! My favorite is the handmade taro fresh milk, so refreshing! My husband was craving something sweet (cocoa creama) really good too! Absolutely love that there is a good boba place close to my house! The workers are always really nice and remember to ask how much sweetness and ice you'd like in addition to repeating back your order to make sure they got it right. Usually don't have to wait too long to get your drinks. Probably no more than 5 minutes. This location has its own specific stamp card for frequent customers. It is always really clean in the general area and in the bathroom. I always get my drink to go, but this would be a good spot to catch up with friends. There are about 8 small tables inside so it might not be ideal for really large groups. I've never noticed if they had any games at this location! Plenty of parking since it is in a plaza. read more

I tried this place with my best friend back in December and now we go there every week whenever we get the chance! I absolutely LOVE the QQ Happy Family drink! It comes with lychee, pearls, pudding and red bean! I try to force myself to try the other top 20 drinks but I always go for my favorite QQ Happy family drink! I love how the the drinks are one size and are pretty big. Also, the service here is great! They are always so welcoming and cheerful! This place is definitely one of my favorite places to grab a milk tea drink, especially when I'm with my best friend! If you're ever near Hayward/San Leandro, you should totally stop by and try their drinks! read more

Disappointed...I ordered taro milk tea. They gave me a regular milk tea. I reminded them I had asked for taro milk tea. Instead of "properly" making a new taro milk tea, they added the purple taro powder to the milk tea and stirred it up, making the drink look brownish-yellow in color, with purple bits. The 3 stars is the average of my drink's and my friend's. I got the taro fresh milk at 0% sweetness (ice level was not adjustable), and my friend got the Hokkaido milk tea. I liked my drink well enough, but there were too many chunks of ice (small enough to go up the straw, large enough to be unpleasantly crunching down on them instead of chunks of taro) to make it 5 stars. Otherwise 0% sweetness worked out well. However, my friend did not enjoy her drink at all - too sweet (from reading other reviews, it seems like the Hokkaido and Okinawa milk teas should be ordered at really low sweetness levels), and the boba was hard. She mentioned having Hokkaido milk tea at another boba place, no adjusted sweetness, and it was nowhere as sweet as Sharetea's. She ended up barely touching her drink =/ Disappointing as I was hoping to end our get-together on a high note. Oh well. I'd still come here (or another Sharetea closer to home), but I'd note it as one of the boba places to avoid getting the actual tapioca pearls, since they're obviously not made fresh. read more

However I did not like their coffee milk tea, something about it just didn't taste right. I feel like there was too much of something and the aftertaste wasn't pleasant. Sharetea in SanLeandro yes!!!! When first coming here it reminded me so much of the one I usually go to in union city. Line was long, well what can you expect it's Sharetea in SANLEANDRO!!! Service was slower than expected (well everyone is new so that's understandable), and the drinks were a little sweeter than usual (well new people still getting use to the recipe I guess) I say a month or so everything will be up to the sharetea standards! It cost a bit over $4 for a pretty tall cup. I wish there was an option for a smaller cup as I usually cannot finish it. I love boba milk tea whatever u wanna call it and I tried many but I am so disappointed in the taro pearl milk tea I just ordered. I've been craving milk tea for quite awhile now and finally gotten a chance to get my fix. yes location is near me and fast service but the pearl didn't taste fresh. my taro milk tea didn't taste anything like taro. I ordered less ice but it tasted watered down. I will not be returning anymore as I gave it 3 tries and it never gotten better. I'll save my $5 and rather travel further for better and yummier milk tea read more
