Great boba spot near UCI. My favorite is their signature drink the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea, classic black milk tea with boba, mini boba, red bean, herb jelly, pudding, and lychee jelly. Love all the textures and the milk tea is soooo good, they use brown sugar as a sweetener. The employees here are very nice, mainly use the kiosk to order, so interaction is limited, but they are nice either way. The spot is modern and minimalistic, clean, nice, open and airy. Seats inside and outside. Great spot to hang out after shopping around the area. The prices here are pretty good, not too expensive and all the stuff you get in the QQ Happy Family Milk Tea is a great value compared to other Boba places, recommend you try it. Good ambiance, you order from a kiosk and it's out in a few minutes. I come here often if I really need to sit down and get some work done. It's not as busy as Cha, and way more expensive (all their drinks are in the $6.5-8 ballpark), but they do the fancy stuff where Cha serves simple teas. It's pretty good, I think of this in the same vein as an ice-cream place. Honestly, they need a little more shade around the building as half of their indoor seats are hostile on sunny days, but it's a nice little spot if you're craving some dessert. I really like a lot of their drinks. It's fancy, and if you get it at 30% sweetness all the toppings can be sweet on their own. They have a citrus drink with grapefruit and crystal boba that I get all the time, it's really delicious. I also like their strawberry and vanilla ice-cream blended drink. We came here for late night boba since it was one of the few places still open. There's a kiosk for ordering, which made the process quick and easy. We ordered the classic black pearl tea and the blueberry cheesecake drink, both at 30% sweetness, which ended up being perfect since we don't prefer overly sweet drinks. The tapioca pearls were chewy without being too soft, and the blueberry cheesecake was refreshing. Next time I might try it with crystal boba to add texture. We don't come up to this place at all so we stopped by to get some Boba tea on the way back home. There were plenty of parking spaces for this place since it's kind of in an area that is shared with a grocery store and the mall/plaza. You order on the kiosk, which is pretty self-explanatory and there was plenty of different variety you can choose from. I did like that. There was a screen to show where your order was being prepared or if it was already done. They did not call out your name or your number or you just have to pay attention to the screen. As a Boba tea fan, I'm really judgmental on how the Boba texture is.. and I do have to say this place has good Boba. However, do you think that the tea could have been stronger and less milk. There were few places to sit, and there were some people with their laptop, but I would say the ambience was more of a take and go instead of you meet your friend here for tea and have a chat. read more

Black milk tea: 0.5/2. I got the Classic Pearl Milk Tea, 30% sweet, less ice, and asked for no boba. For me, this drink is meh. The tea has a slightly grassy, nutty, and almost savory flavor, but it's pretty watery and not particularly creamy. The sweetness level is appropriate, though. Terrible experience. This place was completely misleading and the drink was disgusting. I ordered a boba milk tea with zero added sugar, yet it was unbelievably sweet like they ignored the order completely. I also requested zero ice, and once again they did not follow the order. Paying for a customized drink and receiving the exact opposite is unacceptable. The taste was awful, overly sweet, and impossible to enjoy. It feels like they do not care about customer requests or honesty. There are far better places to buy boba than this disappointing spot. I will not be coming back. read more

Great store! Overall great customer service. Folks here greet you immediately despite the fact that it can get quite busy. The matcha here is legit. That blueberry matcha is a must. One of my favorite boba spots in OC. ShareTea is pretty consistent with their drink and boba quality and with the closures of Orobae and Yifang doesn't have as much competition for boba in the area other than Cha for Tea and Bako. My favorite drink is the Strawberry Ice Blended with Lychee jelly and ice cream but all of the drinks I've tried I thought were good. Absolutely love ShareTea! Parking and access isn't exactly convenient, but that's par for the course with visiting anything in UCI TC. The interior has no seating and is pretty barebones. This isn't a problem, really, since there is so much outdoor seating around the center it's located in. The staff has been friendly on all of my visits, and also helpful in recommendations and answering questions I've had. The green tea blend is delicious! It's one of my favorite jasmine milk teas out there. The boba on my latest visit was cooked perfectly, and my drink was ready in under 5 minutes. I've been to a couple of different Sharetea locations, so this Irvine location isn't any different. I decided to grab a coffee milk tea with boba here after doing some work at the Langson Library at UC Irvine. When I went, there was only one cashier taking orders even though the line was getting increasingly long. Despite the busy atmosphere, my order came out just fine and in time. I thought the Coffee Creama and Oreo Ice Blended with Pearl drinks were super sweet. I recommend changing their sweetness level. Next time, I will change the Oreo blended blended drink to 50% sweetness and Coffee creama to 50% percent as well. For the Matcha red bean milk tea, I did not get boba because the drink itself has red bean. The matcha red bean milk tea drink has the right amount of sweetness but maybe change the sweetness level to 80%. Sharedtea has so many different drinks to choose from. The staff was very friendly, and you could ask them for recommendations if you are undecided at the counter. The plaza has Cha for tea as well, I would rather get shared tea instead. The taro milk tea is by far my favorite here and one of my favorite teas from any of the tea shops in the area. Super fast and super friendly service doesn't make it such a pain in the butt to want to grab a tea. The tea is also reasonably priced.. especially compared to some of the $6 to $8 teas I've been getting lately at some of the other local spots. The quality here is much better, also. While I am truly a fan of real quality tea. This spot is pretty good for the sugary style milk tea that seem to be popping up everywhere.
