Cheese, charcuterie, and wine... So fine!
    Josh W.

Pleasant Ridge is an excellent, laid back destination for good times, and Share Cheesebar fits in with this description. Located just off of Montgomery on Ridge Road, it's certainly right at home in this great area, while bringing its own unique flare and flavor. Fine wine, delicious cheese, tasty charcuterie, good craft beer, and much more. My lady and I had been wanting to check this spot out for a while and we were definitely glad when we did. The place itself is very cozy and relaxed in its atmosphere. Grab a spot anywhere you like. You place your order at the counter and they'll bring it right to you once its ready. I'd recommend checking out their array of fine cheeses from all around the world. The staff are always happy to give samples, or if you're ordering a cheese and charcuterie plate, you can ask for certain cheeses to be added to it. Try the four alarm if you like it spicy! For our first trip here, we went with the four cheese and four meat plate (they offer many different size plates to enjoy) along with a bottle of Portuguese red blend wine. When the plate came out, everything looked so fantastic, and tasted even better. Everything about the whole experience almost instantly made it one of our favorite wine and cheese spots. Share Cheesebar is absolutely fits in with Pleasant Ridge and adds its own brand of goodness to the area. I'd highly recommend a visit if you're around.

Charcuterie anyone? This place has been open for about two years and puts together lovely cheese boards with a view options available for only cheese or cheese and meat boards that come with olives, fig spread, spicy mustard, little peppers and pickles. While you can choose the cheeses you want, we asked that they surprise us and choose for us. My favorite was the cheese with a rind covered in Herbs de Provence. The board is also accompanied by a basket of sliced baguette bread. It wasn't toasted which is my preference vs coldish bread. The board with three cheeses and meats was great for two hungry people. The chairs are metal and while the decor is pleasant, the place lacked that warm, cozy feeling that makes you want to come back over and over. What I really appreciated however was one of the staff offering us a platter that had been ordered and not picked up. Rather than let it go to waste, they offered it to the remaining customers free of charge! Happy Valentine's Day, indeed. That was a kind gesture and made a very good impression. Overall, it's a nice spot for a casual and delicious bite to eat.

If I were still in the market for dating, this would be my ideal first date spot! It is well lit, in a decently busy neighborhood, small, and has phenomenal meats, cheeses, beer, and wine. Those all come with the perk of knowledgeable and friendly staff. I'm not a fan of spicy, so I have even made simple requests when I order a board, and they always follow through. There isn't a designated parking lot or street parking available right out front, but there is a small street a couple doors down that has free parking. There is also a church (St. Peter's UCC) across the street on Ridge that has parking available.

I've wanted to stop here for awhile as cheese is just about my favorite food, right up there with chocolate. Share's Wednesday fondue night was the perfect reason for a visit. For $24, two can dine on the carnivore fondue platter; $20 for the vegetarian. They include bread, apples, broccoli, potatoes, (and sausage in the carnivore platter). Bottles of wine were also half off. What a deal! The pots of cheese, a mix of Swiss, Gruyere and Emmental, were more than enough for the dippers. The cheese had a bit more wine mixed in than I cared for, but other than that, everything was delicious and filling. The weekly fondue nights are suspended until fall, unfortunately. The restaurant offers cheese, hummus and charcuterie plates and other assorted items, from crackers to olives.

I'm a born and raise cheesehead so my love of cheese runs deep. So, needless to say I was ecstatic when I saw Share Cheesebar was opening right up the road. I jumped at the opportunity for a girls night and grabbed two of my fellow cheese lovers. The owner, Emily, was super welcoming and helpful. I thought I was going to be overwhelmed by all the cheese options, but turns out, their staff of cheese experts select the different varieties to make up your charcuterie board selection. Between the three of us, we split one meat/cheese board, one cheese board and a burrata - which was plenty. They also sell wine which are very affordable and can be purchased by the bottle or by the glass. The charcuterie boards were beautifully assembled and came with a side of bread, nuts and olives (duh). For just $20, I was completely satisfied and am fully intending on coming back as soon as possible.

My 2-Cheese board with all the wonderful complimentary flavors.

Five Stars means there is nothing significant that can be improved upon. This is one of the coolest specialty eateries I have ever been in. (Very courageous to open it where it is--it is inconspicuous. I had a rare layover in Cincinnati that gave me the opportunity to explore this particular neighborhood, and find the Share Cheese shop. So glad I did; would definitely return here if the opportunity arises again. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Really fun wine/beer and cheese bar in Pleasant Ridge! The chef's choice cheese and charcuterie plate takes all of the guesswork out of pairing, so all you have to do is enjoy. My husband and I came in on a Saturday afternoon and had the place to ourselves. We picked our wine first, and we chose a Cabarnet Sauvignon bottle for $28. Then since we were pretty hungry we went with the 6 piece meat/cheese plate ($25). The plate was delicious, and I think reasonably priced for what you got. It came with three different meats and three cheeses, plus fig jam, marcona almonds, a spicy brown mustard, little peppers, olives, and as much bread as we wanted. We spent over an hour in Share just munching and having fun. The people working here were knowledgeable of their products and very friendly. Ask them for wine recommendations if you don't know where to start, and trust their instincts when it comes to cheese pairings. Wednesday they do a fondue night from 5-8pm (with half price wine bottles!) and Friday night is happy hour, so I'll be coming back for that. They also do snack boxes to go if you want to get your cheese fix on the run! Overall, a really cute place, and a great stop in Pleasant Ridge for date night or just for fun.

Loved this little shop! Came here on a Wednesday for fondue night which is such a great deal: Fondue for two plus 1/2 off bottles of wine! We also started with a cheese plate which was perfectly done! Very quick service and fun, kind employees! Great spot in PR, definitely will be back.

Oh y'all, this place is the absolute dream of dreams made of cheese and little peppers and meats and coated cashews -- and wine. Walk right in and be sure to order the meat and cheese selection (chef's choice obviously) and they'll bring it right out to your table. Excellent wine and local beer selection too. Be sure to browse the spicy honey and flavored jams (we probably bought some and added them to our board, let's be honest). This place is pure magic, 100%. The absolute best charcuterie board I've ever had in my entire life (entire 32 years of life y'all) -- can't wait to come back for more cheese and salami and wine and bubbles and chocolate and hello there's a fondue Wednesday. Bookmark it y'all!

Pleasant Ridge gem--relaxing Saturday afternoon having a glass of Savignon Blanc and a selection of delicious cheese, olives, and bread.

Pleasant Ridge gem-enjoyed a Saturday afternoon with a glass of Savignon Blanc, selection of delicious cheese, olives, crusty bread. The employees are so welcoming. There are items for purchase. This a place you will want to return to and share with your friends and family!!

Share Cheesebar is such a great shop. First of all, who doesn't love cheese? Second of all who doesn't love wine, especially with cheese? Third, throw a little meat and other yummy-ness - how can you say no? I went there with a friend for drinks and a cheese snack. OMG. I was a little nervous about letting someone choose the cheeses for me, but trust me - they know what they are doing. I ordered a glass of Prosecco, and he tailored the cheese to the wine selection. Perfection. I've already told other friends and family about needing to come here.

We stopped in on Friday which I believe was the day after they opened. It's a great place. The interior is comfortable and inviting and the owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming. There are about 6 or so tables to sit inside. They have some fresh made grab and go sandwiches available in a case and you can also order meat and/ or cheese boards for eating in. They have several bottles of wine you can buy by the bottle and a few by the glass, and a few types of beer available to drink while you dine. We got a 3 cheese and 3 meat board and it was really tasty. We enjoyed everything that came with it. We just did a chef choice which I usually like to do.

Great start to our date night. We got the three cheese three meat sampler and really enjoyed the selection. Friendly staff and great value. We will go back again!

I will be making time in my schedule to go back. We ordered the small cheeseboard and added charcuterie. It contained their 3 main cheeses as well as small bits of fruit, nuts, and other goodies that were located with the cheeses that they would complement. We asked what type of meats came with the "charcuterie" option and we were told "whatever is on the slicer right now" but that they were all locally made- or at least regionally made. That works for me and both selections were delicious. We also bought the special chocolate chip/cheese cookies they had for the event and they were fantastic. What I really want to talk about is the cheese curds though. We bought some to take home (you can buy everything they use on the boards in their retail area too by the way). They're so flavorful and fresh. I'm going to make poutine with those and some fries from Heyday down the street and I expect great things.
