They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... Very good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, possibly with the exception of vegan dishes.. - Quality. Pretty good. Their scallion pancake was soft, not too oily, and not too salty. I prefer the scallion pancake to have been a bit more thick and flaky, but that's my personal preference. To be fair, still delicious. Their chive and pork dumplings definitely had a delicious chive flavor. Substantial and the wrapper was not too thick. Their spicy sesame paste tofu had a good flavor and substantive. The chili oil wontons were not too spicy and had a good flavor. Again, my personal preference would have been for the dumplings to have been more substantive, but still pretty decent. - Service. Pretty good. It appears most, if not all their staffers, speak Chinese (Mandarin), which was also helpful, because I specifically ordered in Chinese. I asked them about the spice level, because I wanted to ensure it would not be too spicy for my friend. - Price. Pretty good value for menu and portions. - Location. It's pretty easy to find. Also within convenient walking distance to the Silver Spring metro. The inside space is pretty good. Tables can seat a minimum of 2, all the way up to 8. What's Not - Quality. The sesame balls are smaller than I expected. They're the rough approximation of a ping pong ball, maybe smaller. I was disappointed, because I like sesame balls that are substantial. - Service. I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. For example, main dishes may come out before the appetizers. This is going to be dependent on your personal preference. - Parking.
