Our food was great and the delivery service was fast! We had a slight snag as we ordered online and we did not make something clear, but they called to clarify and everything was adjusted. The egg rolls are huge, juicy and delicious Shrimp lo mein - was full of flavor. Probably some of the best lo mein that I have had in this area. It can be a hit and miss sometimes between bland and soggy, theirs was about as perfect as it can get General tso's had a little heat but not too much. We ordered the wings mmm mmm good. Honey chicken wings - everything they sound like and more Over all our food was really good, hot and on time. I think I've found my go to neighborhood carry out.

We ate family style and ordered the scallion…read morepancakes, the spicy sesame paste tofu, the spicy oil wonton pork, the chive and pork dumplings and the sesame balls (filled with red bean paste). Total (not including tip) came out to approximately $49. What's Hot - Menu. Excellent. It's also written in Chinese in addition to English. For those of us familiar with traditional ethnic Chinese food, a menu written in Chinese is a good sign. They have traditional Taiwanese and Chinese food like scallion pancakes, sesame balls, beef noodle soup, soup dumplings, etc... Very good variety and there appears to be something for everyone, possibly with the exception of vegan dishes.. - Quality. Pretty good. Their scallion pancake was soft, not too oily, and not too salty. I prefer the scallion pancake to have been a bit more thick and flaky, but that's my personal preference. To be fair, still delicious. Their chive and pork dumplings definitely had a delicious chive flavor. Substantial and the wrapper was not too thick. Their spicy sesame paste tofu had a good flavor and substantive. The chili oil wontons were not too spicy and had a good flavor. Again, my personal preference would have been for the dumplings to have been more substantive, but still pretty decent. - Service. Pretty good. It appears most, if not all their staffers, speak Chinese (Mandarin), which was also helpful, because I specifically ordered in Chinese. I asked them about the spice level, because I wanted to ensure it would not be too spicy for my friend. - Price. Pretty good value for menu and portions. - Location. It's pretty easy to find. Also within convenient walking distance to the Silver Spring metro. The inside space is pretty good. Tables can seat a minimum of 2, all the way up to 8. What's Not - Quality. The sesame balls are smaller than I expected. They're the rough approximation of a ping pong ball, maybe smaller. I was disappointed, because I like sesame balls that are substantial. - Service. I specifically asked for soup spoons, because we were eating dumplings. Instead, they gave me regular spoons. Not all the dishes come out in the order you hope. For example, main dishes may come out before the appetizers. This is going to be dependent on your personal preference. - Parking. There is parking near the restaurant, but it's going to be dependent on the day and time. Final Answer Worth coming back.

I also feel like it's rare to be able to out these days and get a $12 entree where you feel like you had a good meal. Their wings, yibin spicy noodles, soup dumplings, beef noodle soup and scallion pancakes are good. There's easy parking in the garage across the street. You can also order online ahead and pick it up. Super easy. Just go directly to their website. I feel like they do takeout pretty well.

Han Palace is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in DC, and there are two main reasons why:…read morethe portions and the drinks. First, the food portions here are astronomical. I ordered the Singapore noodles, which were packed with flavor and loaded with beef, chicken, and shrimp. The portion was so big that it honestly could be split between two people. I barely put a dent in it while I was there and ended up taking most of it home and eating off it for a while afterward. But the real showstopper is the bottomless drinks. For $18, you get bottomless Mai Tais, lemon drops, and mimosas, and the best part is they do it all day, not just during brunch hours. You can pull up at 7 p.m., get dinner, and still do bottomless drinks, which is something you don't see very often. Between the massive portions, the flavor, and the all-day bottomless option, Han Palace is an easy five out of five for me. If you're in DC and haven't been here yet, this is a must-go spot.

This is a much needed addition to the Connecticut Ave corridor which lacks authentic Chinese restaurants and especially Dim Sum (brunch small plates). I hope that there are more choices like this in the near future for this surrounding area which lacks good traditional Chinese restaurants. The parking can be daunting since it still is in DC, might have a bit of a walk but that is everywhere in DC. The food was fast and had some unique choices that are not on a standard menu.

Once you walk in you are immediately hit with a friendly established vibe even though still under a year in existence. I went over the menu and ordered a sausage, egg and cheese sandwich. The cheese took me to a nostalgic time in childhood. Why did this sandwich taste so good? Let's go back to the vibe. It felt like I been there before or a place that I will come back again and again. So I did with family and friends over the next week. We all tasted something on the menu from the waffle and chicken to the smoothies and pastries. You know when you want to see someone WIN? Thats the vibe I got. They win and we all win. Seems like cool community events will be coming soon. Keep and Eye out. The Owner makes it a point to be a staple. Lets make it happen. O yeah and Wednesdays they are closed. Support and take your time....life isn't a rush.
