First time coming here and already have bad service. It's very dirty at the register when you order!! The sauces that they have in the front of the large containers were not kept up clean or refilled or organized!! And where they cook the food at is so disgusting what a BIG disappointment in this place you should all be ashamed of yourselves not Sanitary at all.. They all don't know what they're doing behind the register or anywhere in this place!! NOOO SANITARY JUST FILTHY at its best!! This place needs to go under new management not a place for people to bring their families until further notice!! The Bathrooms are so dirty, the lady in next door asked to have some toilet paper because she had none in her stall and mine had a little, but was very very UnSanitary in there not cleaned. The game section was a joke!!! Only 3 games worked!! I asked to speak to the Manager but no show!!!!!!! But sent an employee instead!!! Like WTF!!!!! Employees and Management Need to step up with their responsibilities and customer service and stop chatting about nonsense with each other and actually take care of your customers and be better STAFFED then what you are!! Replacement sounds better!!!! The salad bar was not even taken care of!! They didn't go near there to refresh nothing or replace the condiments nor clean the area!!! P.S. Shakey's in Pico Rivera has re-open after it was closed for months due to fire. Everything has been upgraded. $15.99 for lunch a bunch. Everything was fresh and still as tasty. Enough employees to have the buffet full to accommodate the crowd. Manager was having customers line up outside. It helps to keep everything running smoothly. Same chill casual place to enjoy good food, family and TV's all around to catch some games. read more

The front staff was very defensive as we walked in, but gave them the benefit of the doubt. We showed up at our pickup time, which was 45 mins after placing the order, and was told ot wasn't ready. They said they make it fresh so we had to wait. It took another 25 mins to get our order, and the quality of the food was lacking. Not sure what happened, but after the renovation, things seem to get worse, not better. read more

I always go to shakey's to celebrate work accomplishments. I had to stay in the area one day so I decided to come to this location. The bunch a lunch is always my go to. I was surprised by how many options they had. My local shakeys only has the basics. This location had plenty of pizza, chicken, mojos and more. Service was also phenomenal. They had a ton of people working for a weekday afternoon but the place was incredibly clean and there always someone to take care of you if you needed something. Lots of tv's, plenty of seating, big parking lot. read more

Coming back for the reopening the staff are more attentive and just super awesome. The selection for bunch of lunch is great. Maria Mejia helped us find a table and cleaned it for us and if we wanted to request a pizza she let us know who to ask. The space is a lot nicer now that there are more windows. My family and I love Shakey's. When we found out that the Pico Rivera location was opening we were very happy. I called to place an order, they said it would be ready in 20 min. and when I arrived my order eas not ready and I found put that my pizza order was made incorrectly. I had asked when I called if they had a pizza and chicken comb and they said no only pizza, chicken and mojos. When I arrived I see that they had a special for a med. Pizza with chicken wings. I was not offered that, which would have been perfect for me. When I questioned the manager she just said she would mention it to the staff, and I still did not get offered the special. I also asked the manager what was the senior citizen discount and she responded I don't know. I feel that as a manager she should have known that. So I didn't get my discount, she didn't even offer it. Very disappointing service. read more

We were excited to return to the Pico location, as it used to be one of our favorite spots. Going back that Saturday night brought a lot of nostalgia for us. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect the memories we had. We received a pizza that was clearly burnt. Although we acknowledge that we should have brought it to their attention immediately, the way the situation was handled was very disappointing. When we did bring it to the staff's attention, several employees including the manager were laughing. The pizza we sent back for them to review was thrown away without any communication or follow-up. No one returned to our table to provide an update, apologize, or offer a solution. Instead, we felt avoided, and there were continued smirks and laughter when my husband and I approached the manager to discuss the issue. While we understand we could have spoken up sooner, there was no accountability taken on their end. If a pizza comes out of the oven noticeably more burnt than others, it should be caught by the staff before being served. I went the for the buffet. It was very good for a buffet. My wife wanted dominos for dinner. Shakey's pizza is better. And most people do not know. You can request a specific pizza if you want. I do not eat pork. So they make me a pineapple and mushroom. The place is so clean. They have a pretty good basic salad bar. I will come back to the buffet. read more
