Do not go here!! Just like the review below. They use cheese graters in their pedicures (thats illegal-protect your feet) - you can decline and theyll use an exfoliate sponge like theyre supposed to. The gel charge is absurd. I asked for pink acrylic, they still gave me clear and then charged me for pink gel. They kept trying to upsell me. I ask for a small design and literally got blobs on my finger. They reuse/ cross contamination alot of utensils. Barely shaped my nails (over used filer) When i asked for an itemized bill, she couldnt explain to me how they got the pricing for my service, and the mess up they made. I just recently started coming here after my usual spot was closed for renovations and Sha Nails May have gained me as a regular customer. What I love is that they never seem to be busy, prices are lower than others (discount if paying with cash), they are quick, and do a great job. Also it appears they offer a lot of options for nail styles. I just was very excited looking thru all of the gel nail color choices. They also have dip nails which is gaining popularity. Decided for a self care day and stopped to get my nails done. I was the only person in the salon( love the quiet). They checked my temp, had me wash my hands and all employees(and myself) had on mask. They have plastic barriers at all stations including pedicure. Note: they don't have them between client chairs(for pedicure). Pedicure was very good. She put in work for my callus. I was impressed. It was $35 plus $5 for callus treatment. She helped me to choose my color(dark purple/plum or a deep red). Needed a fill in. Fill in starts at $25 for regular polish. Well this is when it turned... She did minimum prep to file down,buff etc the new set. She paint job is bad. It's uneven, lumpy, and not clean. I asked her to correct it and she just threw more paint on top(making it worse). Additionally they charge you 5% on total service amount if you use a card. That would have been nice to know before hand. Will come back for a pedi but not my nails again. Tina is great with eyebrows, Tammy is really creative with design and they all take pride in their work. Make sure to call ahead if you can and bring a picture if you want something specific. read more

Edit: after four hours my polish started peeling off. Went in to get a fill in and a pedi. Left only getting a fill in. The lady I had was extremely rude, I believe she was actually the owner or manager. She was snippy and never asked me if I wanted my nails trimmed down/filed. I had to tell her to file them down and she huffed. She burned me a couple of times with the electric file and said it was the gel top coat causing it. I have never had that happen before because of a gel top coat. I'm pretty sure it only happens when they have the drill on a high speed and you keep it in one area too long. At the end of it all the polish job was awful looking and my nails looked like I filed it with a cheese grater. They were uneven and sloppy. I left with nails that felt like I had popped each of them off with a door handle. I went in during a time that most salons would be busy, they had one or two customers. That should have been my first clue to run. There is a reason this salon is never busy. read more

I have NO clue why this shop is rated poorly. The staff are friendly & they ALL do a damn good job. I've been getting acrylics for 8 years so I'm sure anyone would know how picky I am when it comes to quality nails. This place has got it. Tammy & Tina are wonderful ladies inside out. They're always pleasant & they get to know you as a person, not just a customer. They are never busy on the days that other salons are packed (weekends you can get in & out which is EXTREMELY unusual at a nail shop.) Tina's husband (I am completely blanking on his name sorry!) has the most gentle, relaxing touch. Every customer has their favorite & he is mine. My ma's is Tina & my younger sister's is Tammy. I was recommended this salon from a co-worker due to I was helping out from PA for a store opening and did not know where to go, I landed here and it was not very busy and I got the assistance that I needed immediately. There were very beautiful colors in the salon that I am not used to seeing in my area, and looks as if they put only summer colors out which helped so much because I usually don't do light colors - and they were all so pretty. I got a refill and polish color change and was out in less than a half hour, the fastest I have ever been. To add I love the kid friendly designed pedi chair they had, I feel like it was very cute and creative. I would definitely go back if I were to visit again. read more

I haven't been to Sha Nails for years, but it's just as I remember it. The staff are nice, and the services are fairly priced. The interior might need some updating, but the massage chairs work and they're comfortable. Today I went for the Scrub Pedicure. For $30, you get a soak, nail & cuticle trim, sea salt scrub & slight massage, callous "shave," paraffin wax soak, moisturizer, hot towel action, and polish. It's worth it to choose this service over the standard spa pedicure, since it's only $5 more. I think they could have spent a little more time with the scrub, but it felt pretty good and they were trying to move through walk-in clients. The paraffin wax was my favorite part of the pedicure because it was hot and soothing and completely moisturizing. read more

DONT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANNA PAY MONEY THAT DOESNT EVEN NEED TO BE PAID... so my sister,grandma and I went here. My sister and I go full set and my grandma got full set w/ gel. So ours cost $25, my grandmas cost $47. My sister and I were splitting my grandmas (we paid for hers). Which was $23.50 each. So the lady thought my sister said split my grandma and mine and she would pay for the rest. So I paid $36. Then they told my sister her cost was $61. I asked how is hers $61 and mine was $36? They said they split my grandmas and mine and gave the rest to my sister... NO. We said to split my grandmas between us. And like I said either which would of been $23.50 . So the lady said oh so you owe $23.50???? HOWWWWW ????? I already paid $36. SO THEREFORE I ONLY OWE YOU $12.50. They kept saying no it's half of 47? I GET $23.50 is half of $47, BUT I ALREADY PAID $36!???? SO DONT GO HERE, THEY SAY YOU OWE MORE MONEY THAN WHAT YOU REALLY DO... The wait time is getting longer and longer over the years i have come here. I am not a frequent nail person, so I mainly come here for eyebrows. Full disclosure, this is Valentine's weekend. the way she does them so I feel stuck. They tell you to go to the back to get your brows done then you have to wait. If I didn't have a function to go to tomorrow I would leave. I am still waiting as I type this review. I have always felt the workers/techs were friendly to me (the gentleman that works here is a bit indifferent but not rude) When I have gotten my nails done here, like the other reviewer said, the polish starts to peel very quickly. The one time I got a gel manicure, I was not fully aware of all that it entailed so I was not happy about the after effects.
