I received an display case for Christmas from my daughters. It came with an incorrect display hook. Contacted them by phone and spoke with Peter. Explained the issue and was willing to pay for the correct hooks for inside the box. Peter said he would ship the correct hooks for inside the box at no charge. I was very happy with this. What sent this to a 5 star review besides the great customer service? I received the hooks 2 days later. Wasn't expecting them for at a minimum of 7-10 days. Not only did Peter exceed my expectations, but he knocked it out of the park. NO my box is complete and proudly hanging in my home office. read more

Terrible customer experience. I placed an order for a large display frame on 12/23, which is also when my card was charged. I didn't receive a notification that my item shipped so I emailed them on 1/3 to ask for a status. It was only then that I was told that the item was not in stock. That's fine-- these things happen, I guess. They assured me that it will ship within four weeks. I followed up, again, 5 weeks later to get a status and shortly after I received a tracking number (on 2/10). However, the item didn't actually ship -- the label was just printed. More than a week goes by before I see that the package is actually in route. It's been two months since I placed my order (still haven't received it) and the only time they've contacted me was in response to my initial email. I've purchased three card display cases from sfDisplay.com on different occasions. The cases are really well made, they ship promptly, and they are securely packed to prevent damage. I don't have any crazy, over-the-top stories about incredible service. After scouring the internet for display cases that didn't quite fit the sizes or quality I was hoping for, I was ecstatic to find sfDisplay not only had exactly what I needed, but at competitive prices, multiple options, and in the Bay Area. Peter was very friendly and helpful in all the communications I had with him, and was happy to accommodate a special request I had to swap hook types. The order arrived perfectly, just a little later than anticipated only because of delays in receiving shipments from the shipyard which is outside of their control. I was disappointed in the quality of the boxes and how difficult the return process was. Keep in mind if you do not like these units you will spend a considerable amount of money to ship them back. First you need to spend the money to warp them up (stated on return policy) and then spend a small fortune in shipping charges. My biggest complaint was that It took 4 months to get a return and I had to jump through hoops to get it. There were emails sent with no response, then the company stated they did not receive my package. I needed to send the tracking numbers and proof of delivery, this went on for months because emails were not responded to. I had this in my calendar every two weeks to follow up with them, I began to believe this is their way of making things so difficult that you give up or just forget about it. Do not think just because you sent the product back you will get a refund, you will need to CHECK ON THIS COMPANY. When it was finally established that they received my package back in December (almost 4 months earlier) I was told the shipping charges were coming out of my refund and they would send funds through Paypal or a check. I ordered (2) X-Large Double Matted Jersey Display Frame w/ UV Protection Manufacturer (Item Number: dc6306). I found the website to be a bit busy but still very user friendly. The ordering process was also very step by step user friendly. Not only that, after I ordered the cases I received a call from sfDisplay wanting to review my order with me. It turns out that I ordered the wrong matting and during the call the representative corrected the order before it was shipped wrong. The cases arrived in about a week. Both cases were packaged very good and came in with no issued and looked great. The cherry finish looked super nice, almost like it was just finished. The matting was perfect color and the engraved plate was nicely done and spelled correctly. My last comment and the main reason I am scoring sfDisplay with 5 stars is another error by me : ) While putting the case together I bent the engraved plate trying to repositioning it. So I called sfDisplay to order a replacement. My representative found my order, ordered me a replacement, gave me suggestion on how to better install the plate, and then waived the replacement fee. I bought a shot glass display from these folks. They charged me 4 times, though I got 3 refunds about 2 weeks later. And the shot glass display arrived with large spots missing paint. They said they would send me a black wood stain paint marker. First go around, they didn't send me anything at all. I contacted them again and they sent me a permanent marker. Big difference between a a black wood stain paint marker and a permanent marker. read more

I love these guys. I've ordered two display cases -- one for baseballs, one for hockey pucks. Both were outstanding. Made extremely well, the glass has protected all of the pucks and balls from fading, and their customer service has been OUTSTANDING. I won't even bother shopping around for display cases anywhere else. I am an avid collector of sports memorabilia. I recently purchased a framed Lincecum jersey. It was beautiful. I wondered how they framed it. After researching online, I found SFDisplay.com and found the same frame, for $109!!! I ordered it and framed a signed Joe Montana jersey. The signature cost me $99 and $5 for an 8x10. It was easy and looks great. If I would have purchased this from a dealer, I would have paid $1000. I paid $109 for the frame, $99 for the autograph, $40 for the jersey, and $5 for the photo, for a total of approx $250. I saved $750!!! Now I can frame my Peyton Manning and Charles Haley jerseys.
