I was gifted a Figs brand Scrub top with just my name embroidered on it and I wanted to add my credentials. Figs wouldn't take it back to do any additional embroidery, so thats when I started to look for a local spot! My yelp search lead me to T-shirt Fever in Colma. I will say the only thing I didn't love were the early closing hours (closed at 4 pm and on weekends). Since I work full time, it made it a little hard for me to make it over in time before closing but I eventually found time in my schedule to make it over. I called a few local places asking for a quote for an additional line of embroidery on an already embroidered shirt and T-Shirt fever gave me the best quote of ~$10 for a line of letters (BSN, RN, CPN) to be added under my name. I dropped it off on a Wednesday morning and it was ready for pickup the following Thursday (6 business days). The font wasn't an exact match (slightly thinner than the original font), but it was close enough! The original font was in white so getting a color match was not a problem at all. Again for a little over $10 for embroidery I can't complain. It was really awkward wearing my scrub top with my name embroidered in white and nothing else, so this makes much better! read more

Lettering started to fall off after less than 3 months. I mean come on, why make the lettering so thin that they peel off so easily? The letterings are literally less than 1/3 an inch thickness. What a waste of time and money. Never again. read more

I wanted to get 2 blankets embroidered for my cousin's baby shower. A small name cost $5, and the larger name was $7.50. Quality of the embroidery was a 4 out of 5. Requested a graduation stole embroidery, they sent me a mock up with my name spelled right and everything and then when i picked it up they misspelled my name, not sure what the point of the mock up was. Mike!!!! What a great guy, it's no wonder they've been in business for more than 27 years. That's as old as I am. Although Mike was not able to help me get some last minute embroidery in for a weekend wedding gift, he took out his rolodex and helped me find the next best thing. I've had several custom printed t-shirt done here and they do a fantastic job. T-shirt Fever is a family run shop and they've recently invested in custom embroidery machinery. They have a graphic designer on site, machines on site and their own staff. Pretty much can get your anything you want or need. You can find cheaper prices online but you definitely get what you pay for! It's so nice to have an important job taken care of by real people you can talk to. Highly recommend them. read more

Excellent experience and service. Went for an embroidery on a sleeping mat for my daughter's preschool and when they saw it they said it couldn't be done because there wasn't enough space for the machine, so they suggested I do vinyl and showed me a sample of it. The day of pick up they sent me a text with a proof to approve, I did and later on went to pick up the item. It turned out beautiful! I actually like it better than embroidery. The quality is great too. I have already washed it and dried it several times and it still looks like newly done. Thanks so much! read more

Was looking for some dri fit shooting shirts for my sons basketball team and I was referred to this place. I emailed them that I was in the market for some custom shirts and they replied on the next business day. Then I made arrangements to meet with Mike and he gave a quote then I went to see if I can get a design. I found a design that I liked but I didn't know how to make it my own. Mike gave it to his designer Luke and he customized it to have our team name. I told him I needed it on a specific day and he said if they are not busy they can have it done by that day. I guess I had luck on my side and I get a call that the shirts were done and was ready to be picked up. Me and my team were satisfied with what they created for us in the time we needed it. They were so prompt in responding to my emails to keep me in the loop of the entire project. So if you need any custom made shirts or even embroideries this is the place to go to... Another review that should have been written a long time ago!!! Anyone who knows me knows that my parents mean the WORLD to me, so it was dear old Dad's bday and I wanted to do something different for him. Dad is member of motorcycle club...not gang...club! And needed a spiffy hat to go along with his vest and jacket. I got a patch from the club president and wondered ALL OVER the Peninsula trying to find a place to stitch the patch to a hat and embroider our last name and the year of his bike on the hat. Well, let me tell you...easier said then done! I searched from Redwood City to San Francisco and T-Shirt fever was the only people that would even take a look at it! And I was on a time limit as the bday was fast approaching! So, I bring the patch only down to their studio in Colma, show the man what I need and I get a LOOK. I'm thinking, "please, please, please!" The man calls his guy in from the back and asks if this is something that he could do, (please, please, please), 2nd guys asks when I need it by..."oh, in three days." I then pick out a hat from their selection and was told, "We'll see what we can do." Three days later, I get the call that my hat is ready. I was actually a little worried to see what had come of the hat. HOLY SHMAGOLY!!!! It is beyond awesome! They did an outstanding job!! Bright, perfectly lettered stitching, great quality.Then the bill came....$18!!! Wait, what? I think you missed a zero somewhere. Nope, $18 for the hat and the stitching AND the embroidery! Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!!! Will go there forever with any printing/stitching needs. Best part - Dad loved the hat, wore it to Arkansas to pick up his new bike! Thank you T-Shirt fever!!! Slow response to email inquiries and price quotes. Sometimes they never receive your email and you have to email and call to get your quote, order, etc. They do good quality print work though. I will give them that. They've been in business for years. Which boggles my mind why they aren't up to par on being professional, quick and efficient in regards to taking custom print orders and responding to inquiries in a timely manner Go there in person if you want to do business with them. If you are looking for a company that respects the customer and takes pride in producing a product with great quality. T-Shirt Fever is NOT it! The screen printing has inconsistent quality. One order had images that were blurry and overlapped. It took months and 3 tries before the problem was corrected. Another order had images printed with a rough lumpy texture. They tried fixing it by flattening the lumpy ink, which made the situation worse. The ink smeared and made the images look sloppy. Each time an order was returned, the staff would get very defensive and the experience can get unpleasant. T-Shirt Fever is refusing to rectify the problem and our school is now stuck with the t-shirts. read more

They do excellent work and a fair price but the extra part of making you feel good about doing business with them is there.
