He then said he's send me over the actual quote with a couple of pictures of options, so I could discuss with my neighbors. And then... nothing. I never got the quote or pictures. I send numerous text messages asking nicely for it. I called and left him a voicemail. I sent two emails through the website. Someone on Facebook who claims to know him well even supposedly messaged him on my behalf. Still zero reply. This person needs to go and take a simple course in client management. Why bother coming to my house, wasting my time if you 1) seemingly don't want to do the job and 2) can't even manage the decently a reply. I even point blank asked, if you don't want to do the job, at least just TELL me so I know. Zero reply to any attempts to make contact. I was going to hire them to do the job. All it would have taken was a REPLY to any of my attempts to contact them again. Maybe your luck will vary, but 1 star for this utter waste of time.

After obtaining a few quotes, Gerald P. won me over with not only his assessment, but also the way he explained everything, in addition to his easygoing demeanor. All of the other estimators spent a couple of minutes. Reuben Borg was the slightly more expensive option, but the value was far greater, given the premium wood, wider slats, taller height, deeper post holes, thicker gate, and the use of RizerBella post protection. The crew was also very efficient, showing up exactly at 9am and completing the job by 4:30pm (same day). The fence looks absolutely fantastic. It was such a positive experience that I struggle to find any faults. If I had to be nitpicky, they did leave small advertisements for the company on the fence (though this also proves how much they stand by their work). There was also no reminder communication the day before or day-of the project (not a problem for me, as we had previously discussed the start date).
