We just so happened to drop by for lunch at Señoritas Cantina and oh my goodness!! It was the best decision ever! The food was delicious! I had the sopes flight with Barbacoa and it was soooo yummy! The meat was tender and seasoned perfectly. It basically melted in my mouth! I also tried some of my friend's stuffed quesadilla and it was also as delicious! The restaurant is a bit small but plenty of seating. Our server was also super sweet and accommodating! They had some delicious fall drinks on the menu that I wish I could've tried but couldn't since I was the designated driver but I'll make sure to try them next time!
Quaint little bar in the heart of Pilsen so I knew my friends and I were going to get some authentic Mexican flavors and it sure did hit! I always like to taste the quality of the Pastor at a Mexican spot and this was honestly some of the highest quality pastor I've had in a long time. Fair warning it did have a quick kick of heat but didn't linger which was nice because it wasn't overbearing at all. It actually had a gradual build up and tapered down nicely leaving a good after feeling. The guac had excellent flavor and texture. Not too creamy, not too chunky but just right. And then hen the sopes came out. My first time eating sopes and I appreciated the fact that they had a 3 sopes flight so I could try the different toppings. All had a pretty distinct flavor which made the meal more enjoyable! 10/10 for me. Looking forward to trying their other menu items.
I've been to this señoritas cantinas location twice now and it's been amazing each time! The fish tacos are so good! And the margs are tasty and a good size for the price. The menu has plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. The servers are very attentive and kind, which is always a plus. It does get crowded depending on the time of day, but the late lunch crowd wasn't too bad. I'll definitely be back here!
Had some great modern style of Mexican food. It may not be the most authentic but it's still more so than a lot of the places popping up around here. Senoritas Cantina is among the most popular places in Pilsen. A lot of the classic favorites one can get. The prices aren't that great but are better than some other ripoffs. Crazy it can get at times but that's a good sign of course. It's one of those modern takes on classic Mexican food. There's many who may be getting tired of all these but this is actually one of the better ones. A lot of the familiar items. There's of course burritos and tacos. It's about $12 for the Golden Rush Margarita. This is made with French Oak tequila, pineapple juice, and vanilla. Food has options for plant based eating. It's about $6 for the Vegan Tacos. We got a few of these. Filled with a plant based version of chorizo. These still have the classic spiciness. Great atmosphere and the food is pretty good mostly. It's one of the restaurants around here where both Mexicans and others like to go to. There's a few options for vegans and vegetarians.
Some of the best flautas Ive had in a looong time! They had a little hot spice to it too which I LOVED! The service was great, its super cute inside definitely will be coming back here!
Incredibly impressed with their extensive vegan menu! For protein options, they had vegan chorizo, ground beef, and al pastor! All were marinated and flavored really well. We loved the enchiladas and stuffed quesadillas. Will definitely be coming back! And Stella, our server, was super sweet and attentive!
I stopped in because I was craving tacos. I had never been here before but it came up as a place to go in the area. The setting is your typical bar restaurant. The chips and salsa were really good. I literally could have said all day and ate chips and salsa. There was a special on Margarita pictures, and they did not disappoint! The mango margarita was delicious and strong! I ordered fish tacos and they were solid. If I were in the area again, I would go back.
I stopped in here last Saturday. It was a pretty calm but chill vibe. The restaurant was clean but had a plumbing like smell that it seem they were trying to mask with Fabuloso. The food wasn't all that great. The elote was good but the tacos were too thick and dry. I thought the chicken was going to be grilled chunks but instead it was pulled chicken. The bartender service was average, what you would expect. The drinks were ok., but I most likely wouldn't patron here again. It's rough trying to find a really good taco today!
Second time coming here and it is as good as I remember!! The green enchiladas here are elite!! So much flavor and the steak was tender. Prices are very reasonable as well and portions are huge. They have pitcher margaritas which is great for a group. The interior is very nice and staff is always very kind. Such a fun, tasty go-to spot for dinner!
Just came In and saw this spot since the Tacos and Tamales Fest was too overly crowded we came here. So far so good with drinks ambience- the bar tenders are amazing and kind! I want that shirt they have.
I always have a good time every time I come here! The service is always 10/10 and the ambiance is very consistently warm and inviting. I stopped in with a friend for an early dinner and Senoritas delivered greatness, per usual. My friend ordered the flatuas which are chicken with avocado, salsa, lettuce, pico de gallo, queso fresco and sour cream. Such a beautiful presentation and so very tasty as well. I ordered the Senoritas burrito. It's made with rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, mixed cabbage and pico de gallo. It comes with a side of fries and they are also some of my favs! It comes with your choice of protein and I choose the barbacoa . It had the juiciest, most tender pieces of meat. VERY well seasoned! Honestly, I wouldn't be mad if you guys did some type of fries topped with barbacoa. Yes, you have the nachos, but fries hit different lol. Anyways, it was a delicious meal and as always I had the best leftovers! Thank you so much for a delicious meal! See you REAL soon!

From the outside and inside, this place is very cute, colorful, and well-decorated. It can be a little crowded, but there was no wait for our ~1pm Sunday lunch. The atmosphere inside is pretty loud and lively. We started with an order of Guacamole Picoso, which was okay. The chips were very crispy, but a bit too oily-- to the point that it was interfering with the chip flavor. The guac was pretty good. I then got the Fajitas with sunny side up eggs. Especially for the price, the portions are pretty small. I also expected the fajitas to come with tortillas, but it unfortunately didn't so it was just chorizo, eggs, and veggies. I did enjoy the fajitas a lot though-- the veggies and chorizo were perfectly grilled and well-seasoned, the eggs were well-cooked, and the burnt chards at the bottom of the skillet were delicious to eat. My friend also got the fajita skillet with chicken and similarly enjoyed it. Another friend got some vegan tacos, which he thought were decent. They do have a solid and distinct vegan menu section, though it's pretty pricey-- most of the items were more expensive than the non-vegan items. My main qualm was that while the staff were friendly, the service was quite slow-- we waited for over an hour for our food to arrive. Otherwise, this is a solid spot overall-- especially if you're coming with a large group to both eat and drink, it would definitely be a fun time! -- Price (relative to peers): 3.5/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Overall Value: 3.5/5

Visited for my 49th birthday and it was amazing!!!! The atmosphere was upbeat but not too boisterous. The drinks were mixed just right and the food was served at optimal temperatures. Our waitress was very attentive and even when we moved from the bar to a table, our drinks were refreshed at no charge! Definitely warrants a visit for anyone in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine! read more

My friend and I came here for a quick casual dinner on a weekday night. The ambience is lively. I love the decor and the colors in here, it's kitschy and unique. We started with a round of polomas. They came in clay cups with a tajin rim and were very well made. For food we split steak tacos and chicken flautas. The flautas are some of the best flautas I've ever had. The chicken inside was juicy and moist, and they were fried to perfection without being too dry. I especially loved the green sauce that they came in, it tasted great and paired really well. The steak tacos were also very well-made, a generous portion of meat. Although I will say that, even though the seasoning was on point, I found the meat a little on the chewy side. Apart from these little things, the place was amazing and we had a great experience here. the food is pretty authentic and the vibe is great. Señorita Cantina was delicious !!! They have a ton of vegan options which you can't help but appreciate. I got the plant based chorizo as it was recommended over the plant based beef and let me be the first person to say it didn't disappoint. Pros: The vibe of this place is perfect. It's a blend of a turn up atmosphere mixed with enough calmness if you just want to catch up with friends. All the items on their menu are affordable. Please see their happy hour. I'd call this 3 1/2, with service pushing it up the 1/2 star. We stopped in for lunch, first day in town, and sat at the bar. The first enjoyable moment was the drink menu...I got the Catrina with Dulce Vida Tequila, Rumchata, Pumpkin Spice creamer and Agave syrup. It put me in the mood of the season...Dia de los Muertos at the beginning of November. Hubby got a local beer...a Casa Humilde Marina lager in the special Pilsen Fest can. I know nobody cares about that kind of thing, but I do. I got the elote and the traditional ceviche (that came with a half avocado that was perfectly ripe) along with an order of guacamole. They were all solid...the elote maybe slightly watery...but everything else was good. The bartenders were great...helpful and very friendly. read more

Food and drinks. Well, it was my birthday and we came here in the end for drinks. And wow, it reminds me of the cantina in Texas that I use to visit with my grandpa when he would meet up with his friends for drinks. Yes, back into the day it was allowed. Of course, now that's a no no but I do believe you can do it here as it is still a restaurant per se' also. I had the Cucumber monitor but wanted a little kick so the bartender (Tita) muddled some jalapeños and that was the perfect setting for the next few drinks. It's quite an impressive venue as it's not a big place, but the quality of the drinks is spot on. We'll, the coffee at the end of my night was not up to par, but one does not go to a cantina for coffee so let me omit that part. Oops, I just mentioned it didn't I? Lol. Definitely worth a try, I think you will be impressed, it takes you back for sure! read more

Señoritas is a solid place for drinks and a quick bite. The food overall isn't anything spectacular but it's good. The drinks are usually a hit and overall vibe is nice. Music selection is always great and it turns into a party there. Service is alright. read more
We were in PIlsen looking for places to eat and this one had been recommended to us. It was a cold day and the wait was going to be 30 minutes but they were very gracious to let us use the bathroom. By the time we came back out, they had bar seating that opened up and we grabbed it. Overall the vibe, the service, the drinks, the food were all great! The Queso Fundido was very good, as were the margarita and mojito we split. The enchiladas with Salsa Roja were also good but the tacos are the reason to go here! Very good stuff! read more

Service was really exceptional here and we are glad to have it in the neighborhood. They have a new sidewalk patio that's a great choice for good weather. We ate inside and the ambiance is fun and decor is nice. There are daily drink specials and Tuesdays are bottomless tacos (with drink minimums). We had the paloma special and it was very tasty. Chips and salsa are complimentary, but the salsa was pretty bland - salt was definitely needed. We also had taco dinners and did some swapping and sharing. They don't allow you to mix and match proteins which is a bummer. The fish tacos were very good. The Al pastor was really dry, but the seasoning was tasty. If the meat wasn't so tough we would have enjoyed those more. We will be back to sample more of the menu! read more

This is a good place for drinks and they do serve vegan options. Food presentation is always nice but the quality of the food varies. The first time I went I had the best spicy guac, but the next time I visited it tasted very plain. They do try to accommodate when you bring something to their attention. Like they brought out more salsa for the guac because of that, and another margarita pitcher when we found hair in it. Aside from consistency and a bartender's hair sweeping the counter the ambiance is pretty decent and I would probably come back for a bite. read more
A friend and I went on our own bar crawl in Pilsen for Cinco de Mayo and this was our 2nd stop. Now it is quite small so they were definitely packed, but luckily when it's 2 people it's easier to get into places quicker - if ya didn't know lol. So we got in after about 5 minutes of waiting outside. The security guard they had outside was friendly so that was appreciated! We got escorted in and were seated by the door - my friend had to move her seat b/c it was right in the middle of everything. Pilsen is known for their hole in the wall restaurants though so it's expected. But with how popular the area is becoming, it may be time for some upgrades! Anyway... we noticed the deal of the day (Friday) was a $8 Paloma so that's what we got! We also ordered tacos. This is where we wish communication would've been better. She ordered barbacoa & I carne asada - each order comes w 2 tacos. Hers were $9 and mine were $10. On the menu it stated that rice & beans were an add on for $3. We were given the tacos and then the guy gave us a side of rice & beans and we were confused. We told a waiter that we didn't order them (we didn't have just 1 - everyone was pretty much helping around where they could) but the lady said "they come with it". We took that as maybe there's a deal today? We got the bill and nope it wasn't a deal lol well i guess if you did want to order some they were only $2 rather than $3 haha. The issue was that we didn't touch it, we didn't want it, so why give it to us and charge us anyway? But no big deal - i just like to know what I'm getting/payin for. The beans & rice were cold by the way. The drink to be honest was a 3/10. I tasted all cheap liquor and barely any other flavors - maaybe a hint of lime. We drunk it down fast just to get out of there. Their 3 stars are for my tacos - they were good! The green salsa was delicious!!! Steak was good. I wish it was 3 instead of 2. read more

THE FOOD IS FIRE. The tacos are excellent, flavorful, juicy. The carne asada was PERFECTLY cooked (@ Medium). Could taste the grill flavor on it and also the sauce was good - spicy though! I really like their beans - the texture is good. Not a big fan of the rice though. Drinks were really good. Got a pineapple-jalapeño margarita ($9). Good price for the large drink and pretty strong too! Not too sweet. The service was excellent. Staff is hella cool. I definitely plan to come back to señoritas. 10/10. read more

Best tacos I had in Chicago Ordered Arrachera Tacos Cochinita Tacos. Best tacos I had in Chicago - juicy flavorful meat slow cooked overnight. A great balance of flavors. The pork and skirt steaks were delicious. I loved my mango mojito too! (They blended real fruits in it). In addition, you have to try the habanero sauce on top of the cilantro rice and beans. I came here with my old co workers. Very delicious food, great atmosphere. Felt a little bad for our waitress, she had to wait on the inside AND the outside patrons. She was so sweet. The other waiter, her help, called off. She got to work around 10am and told us she didn't get off until midnight, I believe. The rice was a little bland, but everything else was great. read more

Came here 3 times before and service was mediocre. Today, the service was terrible. First off, menus were dirty. Waitress didn't bring in any chips and salsa (which are always complimentary here), & I was told they had no mint for mojitos when they gave the table next to ours mint in their drink. Next, another waiter comes and ASKS if we want chips and salsa. He never brought any. 30 minutes later the waitress comes again and doesn't even ask if we want to order food. We ask for the check and at this point, we want to speak to the manager. The manager never comes. Waitress brings the check and leaves it at the end of the table and does not even bother to apologize for the wait. **not to mention the drinks had horrible presentation. I inserted a pic of a coconut mojito we got. Almost an hour of our time wasted. Don't bother to come here. read more
