Visited Sexton's Pizza twice in the past month. In both trips I had great experiences. The servers were both very good. They were friendly. Pizzas arrived in the expected time. On the first visit I went with the Kevin Bacon, which had pepperoni and candied bacon. The sweet and savory mix was amazing. On the second visit my friends and I split a large pepperoni pizza. While not as good as the Kevin Bacon, the pizza still tasted great. I definitely recommend visiting Sexton's Pizza. The pizza is one of my favorites in the Columbus area. read more

Stopped into Sexton's and overall had a good experience! I ordered the pizza to go, and it took 20 minutes. We tried the deep dish, but honestly... not it, it was a little burnt. Now the thin crust? So good! Super crispy, great flavor, that's the move here. A cool restaurant with outside seating and lots of places in the area to walk or check out the nearby brewery. I've tried every pizza in Ohio and sextons might be my favorite. Could definitely categorize it as the best NY style slice and there's better Columbus style pizzas. But, the service there is always awesome. Always feel welcomed by the staff and the ambiance is this retro 80s vibe which I absolutely love. I'd come here just to drink lol based on the vibes. Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon. Nice sized covered patio and inside seating. Was greeted right away and waited on us as soon as we sat. He got the Smokey Robinson and myself the deep dish 614. Pizzas came out pretty quick. It was good. Toppings fresh. Great atmosphere. Isn't my favorite pizza but it's good. If we are in the area we'd probably eat here again. Once again tried to fleet pizza on Friday but couldn't order in line and gave up. Went there again tonight at 6:35 and they were out of pizzas and turned us away. Seriously- input your pizza sales by day for a few months into chat GPT and in 10 seconds they can tell you how many pizzas to make without running out or having extra. I love the pizza but I'm done trying to get served. Poor management that can't figure out how to run their business. No phone no online runs out of their products. read more

Completely frustrating experience. We waited 2 hours for our order, only to get home and find the pizza crust was charred/burnt. To make matters worse, there is no way to contact the restaurant. They have no listed phone number, and the number provided on Toast is disconnected or fake. It's clear customer service isn't a priority here. Their pizzas are so good and so big. They only come in one size but it's definitely a Large pizza. My friend and I just ordered the Mike! And the pesto pie with ricotta added. I don't think they added the pesto to the pizza at all which kinda was disappointing but otherwise it was yummy and I'll for sure visit sextons again read more

Great pizza and service! I came to watch an OSU game and was able to find a seat on their patio which has three TVs and clean, comfortable tables. We got the Mike's Pizza which is not spicy despite having Mike's hot honey (it still tasted great!). I think one pizza is good to share between two people. I was a big fan of their thin, crispy crust. I also recommend their strawberry puree cocktail. Very attentive staff, too. read more

Don't believe any of the negative reviews. This pizza was amazing! We went in, sat down, got waited on immediately. Our waitress was the sweetest and got us our food quickly. No one was rude, the food was amazing, service was over and beyond. This will become a monthly purchase for us for sure. Sad I let the negative reviews deter me from going until now. Love the pizza but it would have been much better hot. Ordered at the bar for carry out, gave them my phone number, got a text with the following message, "Your order has been placed in the oven!", waited for 40 minutes for a text to tell me that my pizza was ready, and it never came. Went to the restaurant after 45 minutes. The person I ordered it from told me that they could have sworn they let me know that I would only get one text and that it would be ready 5 minutes after that text message. I assure you they did not tell me that. Why can't you just put in the text, "Your order has been placed in the oven! Your pizza will be ready for pickup in 5 minutes."? Sure would have been nice to have my pizza earlier and hot. read more

This was our first ever time eating at Sexton's pizza. To start was informed there was no deep dish available, only n6 style. We ordered a Kevin Bacon with added mushrooms. The pizza arrived with a very well done crust. There were several blank places on the crust. Thought maybe that was the way it was supposed to be. Could have used a bit lore sauce on the pizza but that is probably a personal preference. The server was friendly but found it interesting that her shift change was much more important than me enjoying my meal. Had to stop in the middle of eating to handle my bill. Yet she remained in the restaurant the whole time we were there. The dining room was fine, no concerns. Came here on a recommendation. Have to say there are many other pizza places I enjoy more. Great pizza in the area. We usually get the pep w/ the basil (forget the name;). Parts I love best - crust and sauce, the bottom of the pyramid for pizza. Great crunch on the crust (blackened, but not burnt), nice crunch on the rest considering the thin crust and size of the slice. Great ingredient quality, seriously above the par. Downside, is the website is not the best and you get forced to use a third party to do take out - AND YOU CANT CALL THEM DIRECT. We have to show up in person to order takeout, we do it only because of soccer practice nearby.:So much upside for this place if they weren't so hard to buy from. First of all..Garlic Parmesan Fries were horrible. I sent them back as they were inedible and they refused to take them off my bill because "they" said they were fine??? They were way overcooked and cold! The fried pickles were below average, but the kids ate them.. So I'm not complaining about them, but they were not good. I wouldn't eat them. The pizza...seriously nothing special!! Jets is better. Donatos is even better.Marcos is better. It's in my neighborhood and I will never go there again and definitely won't pay $89 for two average pizzas and two disgusting appetizers. My spouse and I are born and reared New Yorkers and as we say down to eat we must admit we were skeptical because we have not been able to find true New York pizza, (the thin crust, the fire oven, the crust, the fluffiness, the right amount of Mariana and mozzarella, how foldable is it, even the little burned to it and even the authentic Italian taste) and today all the memories of childhood. Running up to Miss Maria in Brooklyn at the East New York came to my mind! The only thing missing was the cheese running off of the slice of pizza while cheese remained on the pizza... a true NEW YORKER KNOWS). I/we were not disappointed! 10 points across the board. We visited Sexton's on a Saturday around 5:00. We had a great waitress and the ambiance was inviting. They let you sit wherever you want. This is not a place where you will get formal cutlery, you eat on paper plates and drink out of plastic cups. I didn't mind that but some might. Meh - just ok. I heard alot about this place and really, REALLY wanted to check it out since I love anything pizza. For reference, a 16" pepperoni pizza and two soft drinks came to $31 and some change. The soda was pretty flat, but we couldn't really get our waitress/bartender's attention for any help. I finally had to go chase her down since she was very involved with chatting with another gentleman (a customer/maybe long lost friend?) for about 20 minutes or so at the bar. When I finally just took our drinks up to the bar I was told that they always come out of the fountain really fizzy (hint, that's probably why it's flat since it basically explodes out of the fountain). It wasn't busy at lunch time, but it was about a 20 - 30 minute wait for our pizza. Of course, during this time it was impossible to have a conversation with my guest between the loud music and something that sounded like a jackhammer/sofa being moved banging against walls in the kitchen area. The pizza was good. Not great, but certainly not bad, but the service and atmosphere ruined the overall experience and I personally won't go back. This pizza crust was high quality, and the pepperoni was properly cupped with a little char. There was no parmesan at the table (couldn't track down the waitress to ask for any) and I personally thought it was a little light on the cheese. For a restaurant that puts the Grande Cheese name so prominently, they definitely seemed a little stingy with it. I would hesitate to recommend this place, there are places that serve pizza as good as, or better than this and the atmosphere and service is a hundred times better. read more

Love Sextons when it's done right. The crust is fantastic as we like a new york / neapolitan style pizza. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is that things are a bit inconsistent in that sometimes they charge for a topping but then didn't include it on the pizza or sometimes the toppings ordered are a bit sparse. Hands down best pizza in Ohio!! Always a go to and I'm so happy they moved to the Lewis Center area

How did we live in the year 2025 and you don't have a phone to call orders in nor the ability to order online( at least the time) If you want take out you have to go there and order in person. They take your phone number and will text you that it's in the oven but not when its done!! We eventually came back to our pizza sitting on this un heated rack. By the time we got home it was cold. Pizza was fine. The prices is a bit high for pizza. Honestly a very poor experience, I will not be going out of my way to eat there again. read more

First time here and mixed feelings. Food was amazing! We did a salad, wings, and a pizza with a few drinks. Great value and everything was delicious. The problem however was in the waiting/seating system. Came in around 6:30 on a Friday. We absolutely expected a wait and was told around 30 minutes and that we could wait at the bar. The host only took our name, no number or anything. After 45 minutes, we went up to ask how much longer. They said they had called our name, but since we weren't up there they crossed us off. We found that rather frustrating as they told us we could wait at the bar. It's 2025, every other restaurant has a system that notifies you via text these days. It took a good 20 minutes after that to finally be sat. Several other people were up at the host stand complaining about the same issue. The host was certainly working INCREDIBLY hard. I don't think we ever saw him stop moving, but the system in place is wildly ineffective. read more
