This location has been recently remodeled. The inside of the restaurant is very nice. Cannot wait to try the outside seating when the weather gets better. My wife and I eat here weekly and enjoy the whole hog pizza. Pizza is very good with healthy amounts of toppings added. The fact that they serve Pepsi product is a big bonus. The service has most always been top notch. We are at the point where they remember our order when we arrive. Will continue to support this place. read more

First time ordering here and we won't be back. We weren't impressed with pizza because it tasted very salty. Coupled with the fact that a 14" thin crust pizza was over $20. I had purchased a Clipp promotion that should have given me $20 worth of food but they refused to honor and only gave me $10. I've been to this Pizza Cottage on numerous occasions. They have a great lunch special with a personal one topping pizza (or 1/2 sub), salad and huge soda for only $10.99. My wife and I both think it's one of the best pizzas around. The only downside is that the servers that I've interacted with could have been friendlier which would have made the dining experience better. read more

I stopped in on a hot Saturday and decided to check it out (part of my pizza journey). The service was great. My server was attentive and made sure I had what I needed. I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage pizza. The pie was crispy and thin. It had big hunks of sausage and the pepperonis were just starting to crisp (how I like it). It was on the greasy side but all good. The bottom was dusted with cornmeal The place was clean and had booths and pizza stands. This place would be great to take kids for lunch. This was my first visit inside Pizza Cottage since this location opened it's doors, much more efficient. Our server put our order in and it didn't take long to get the pizzas back. The restaurant itself is laid back and great for large and small tables. I did read that they have a trivia night, looking forward to taking part in that with the family soon. The pizza is delicious, a medium to thin crust, the pepperonis are crisp around the edges, not too greasy but not dry. The BLT pizza is my absolute favorite, I've been eating this since I was a child at the original location. The pizza is mediocre at best. I would say this is the perfect pizza for a little baseball team after a nice win. With that being said, i feel bad for whoever has to pay the bill after said celebration. i spent $34 on 1 large thin Pepperoni, and 1 thin medium cheese. I came here a few years ago when it opened and had some of the worst service I've ever experienced....figured it survived this long, must have gotten better...spoiler alert, it hasn't. 2 servers....working a full restaurant with probably 35 tables...TWO....whats worse, these two were also hosting, bussing, answering the phone, and cashing out carry out customers. The two were working their hardest, but it simply isn't possible. If the management and ownership simply seem unwilling to staff for the business they are running. Table next to us was dirty when we walked in. It took 15 min to get our drinks, and well over 40 to get 2 kids spaghetti's and a personal thin crust pizza....and when we left after being there over an hour, the table hadn't been touched...if you want a refill, take your cup up and do it yourself, it will be 25 minutes till a server comes back to your table. If this was a delivery only business fine, but you CAN NOT run a full service restaurant with this little staff. I gave them a second chance, I will not be giving them a third. To any staff that reads this, RUN! The slightly older female blonde server and young high school guy spent more time apologizing for everything going wrong than they did providing service. You two worked hard, but you deserve better! Run far from the owner of this place who doesn't seem to want to run a restaurant. read more

Delicious, fresh, hot and tasty! The official start date is January 11, 2021, but they opened for business on 12/28/2020. Pizza Cottage will open its seventh location in Powell, Ohio. This will be the first Pizza Cottage located in central Ohio. I placed an order ahead of time for carry out. When I arrived I was greeted at the door and my order was ready. The food was hot when I got home and everybody agreed that this food was really good. Order: 14" pepperoni pizza, thin crust Calzone (pepperoni, ham, bacon) Tenders, small order, teriyaki The food was fantastic and tasted amazing. I'm not sure how they did it, but the pepperoni was crispy. They had a little heat, but the sauce was sweet, making a nice combination. The thin crust was cooked just right. The Calzone was stuffed with pepperoni, ham and bacon, and that delicious sauce oozed out here and there. The top was dusted with a wonderful blend of spices. Very good! We chose tenders over bone-in wings. There were 5 good sized tenders covered with a tasty teriyaki sauce. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Pizza cottage is new to this area, and we couldn't wait to try it! We ordered a large thin crust pepperoni pizza, and pepperoni, ham, and bacon calzone, and chicken tenders in teriyaki sauce. I must say the chicken was the highlight although all of it was amazing. The teriyaki chicken was delicious. It was so tender that it almost melted in my mouth. The three-year-old asked for seconds! The pizza was great. The pepperoni was crispy with a little heat. The cheese and sauce were just right. The thin crust was perfect. The calzone with pepperoni, ham, and bacon also included cheese and sauce on the inside and extra dipping sauce on the side. The spice blend on top would make a great addition to the pizza crust as well. It was all so good. (They do make a thicker crust but we've never tried it.) The jalapeño poppers were great & the 14" sausage/onion & green pepper pizza was very good! Pizza Cottage is always delicious! It's a must try. It's a little on the expensive side for pizza, but well worth it when you get the urge.

Elizabeth (Ellie) was our waitress. She did a fantastic job. We were greeted within 2 minutes of arriving and she was very attentive. My wife got the cauliflower crust veggie pizza. I got a large anchovy (Neapolitan style) pizza, both we requested pie cut, and both were some of the best we have had in the Columbus area. The garlic bread sticks are very good and the sauce is superb. The restaurant is clean, modern, and many of the booths have their own TVs (heads up sports aficionados). We will be back! read more

Terrible experience at Athens Pizza Cottage tonight. Inside temp had to be in 50's but was told that management does not allow employees to adjust thermometer. Service was slow, probably because servers were so cold themselves. With all that money invested in refurbishment, it's insane that customers can't enjoy their meal at a proper temp. Since Pizza Cottage took over the old Ruby Tuesday, we decided to finally give them a try. So, they darkened windows which is actually nice. The decor is nice and the TV at certain tables is different but interesting. Our server was nice. He had to give us more time because only 1 of us had eaten there before. So, we got the jalapeño Poppers for me which were so good. Just a bit spicy but not that bad. I will definitely order them whenever we decide to go back. Potato skins were ordered but I didn't have any. I got the chicken Philly pizza ,no onions but kept the green pepper slices and mushrooms. It was really good! This will be my go to pizza for here. My son got a meat pizza which he loved. It was a nice dinner with really good food and good staff as well with no issues or mess up with our orders. All in all? My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time. Had a specialty pizza, the sauce was way to salty. Asked the waitress if they were adding salt to the tomato sauce and she said no, that they make their own sauce daily first thing in the morning and that is just how it is. Heard Pizza Cottage is really good, especially their pickle chips, and was excited to try it after a long week. All times are taken from text correspondence with my wife until 6:45, then they are estimated: 5:12 ordered 1 large pizza and a side of pickle chips. Received an estimate of 25 minutes until my order would be ready. 5:35 arrive, the line is long. 5:52 still in a long line. The last person was at the counter for 7 minutes before getting their order. Door dash guy in front of me gives up and leaves. 6:27 they finally start walking down the line to find out who has put an order in already. I give my name. 6:28 7 people from the front of the line. 6:34 haven't moved. 6:36 I get called to the front of the line and receive what, generously, I would describe as a lukewarm pizza box. They ask if that is my entire order. I tell them I ordered a side pickle chips. They tell me they will put them in the fryer. 6:41 I receive a $5 off my next order coupon. 6:43 I receive the pickle chips and leave. 6:45 I arrive home, pizza is officially cold. 6:47 we open up our pickle chips, they did not come with ranch and they look more like odd shaped spears. 6:48 I bite into a jalapeno popper, not a pickle chip. Picked up a carry out order for my family and everyone was so happy to have something new! Food was hot and delicious. The store is new, but the company has been serving folks at Buckeye Lake, Lancaster and other locations for decades. Some folks were not very patient with a brand new store, which was unfortunate because the team was working their tails off to make sure everyone had what they needed as quick as they could.
