"Nightmare on Pep Street... and I Loved Every Bite" Stopped in after a lab appointment, running on fumes and bad decisions, so I figured pizza was the cure. Loiee G's did not disappoint. I grabbed a Medium "Nightmare on Pep Street" -- garlic butter, red sauce, three types of pepperoni -- basically the holy trinity of flavor. I inhaled it like I was auditioning for a competitive eating show. While still chewing, I ordered an 18-inch Meat Pizza for the tribe back home (because sharing is caring, apparently). This is proper NY-style pizza: thin, crispy, and foldable -- the kind of slice that makes you feel like you should be yelling "Yo!" on a Brooklyn sidewalk. The topping ratio was chef's kiss -- not overloaded like most C-Bus pies that think they're competing in a topping-weight contest. Everyone at home gave the thumbs up, proving I can, in fact, make good life choices when hungry. Bonus points: the pinball collection is serious. This was the worst gluten free pizza I've ever had. It was as hard as a rock, completely unchewable. My kids wouldn't even eat it. When I called in to let them know, and ask for a refund, I could hear the manager complaining and making excuses that "well, it's gluten free. That's just how it is." Then they only gave me 25% back. It's a no for me. We ordered two pizzas - pepperoni and cheese pizza on regular crust - pepperoni and cheese pizza on gluten free crust. The regular crust pizza was spectacular, according to my husband. It looked absolutely delicious but I'm not able to eat gluten. The gluten free crust pizza was blah. No sauce, no seasoning, no flavor, undercooked. I can't wrap my head around how or why the topping on the two pizzas were completely different, even though we ordered the same exact toppings. read more

East coaster here, who has been craving NY/NJ style pizza since we moved here 7 years ago. Until Loiee G's opened, we considered the best pizza in the area to be Red Baron frozen - a sad statement. The pizza here is very close to east coast and it easily became our Friday go to after our first visit. This is a sit down place, which seems to be fairly rare here, you can actually buy by the slice and have a beer or wine to go with it. When you go here, plan on eating there as opposed to take home if you can. Take home is never as good as fresh out of the oven and you can play some pinball while waiting. Oh it's Friday now! Loiee G's is such a fun restaurant concept! The place is owned by two local ghost hunters and they cultivated such a cool vibe in the restaurant. We walked in the door and were immediately greeted by the sight of their pinball machines, cute liquor display and some of their delicious food showcased in a glass case. The food was all absolutely fantastic. We ordered the meatball appetizer, the garlic knots with marinara sauce, and a half-cheese/half-pepperoni 14 inch pizza. I quickly devoured one and a half meatballs, two garlic knots and two slices of pizza. I would have kept going but I wanted to save some to take home so I could experience the same happiness at home later. The meatballs were so flavorful, the garlic knots were the best I've had in Ohio and the pizza was so good! I'm a crust girl and the crust was A+. I also got the Dracula's Kiss cocktail which was refreshing and adorable. All of the staff we encountered inside were so warm and welcoming! They added such a lovely touch to a great experience. I've ordered from this place five times over the past six months and every time I order here the pizza has very little cheese very little toppings very little sauce and all crust and it's very disappointing. I want to like this place but unfortunately they don't make good pizza so I can't. save your money and don't order from this place. read more

My business took me to Delaware today and I hopped on yelp to find somewhere to grab a late lunch. This place is AMAZING! I'm from the northeast and I read so many reviews where individuals say they're "from NY" or this is "a real NY slice" and then I see that it was cooked on a screen by amateurs. Don't get me wrong, there are a few decent pizza places around Columbus, but if you are a transplant like me, craving a real pizza, cooked on the actual deck of the oven, there is nowhere else that I can find other than Loiee G's. Perfectly crisp and chewy crust, not over sauced or over cheesed...just excellent. Also, the owner Zack and his lovely wife are both incredibly nice. Easily the best pizza in Greater Columbus. Easily the best tasting pizza in the city of Delaware. Crust has a great flavoring. Chicken wings with the wing dust are also very good.

The fries would be really good, but were so salty that we could only eat a few of them. The pizza had very little sauce, pepperoni or cheese on it, and was also salty. We couldn't eat more than one piece each. The spaghetti and meatballs were very bland and runny. The chili was full of meat, but does not have the consistency of chili. I have had this spot on my list since before it opened. We finally made it out, and we definitely were not disappointed. The atmosphere was great. I love the horror movie theme. Also, the pinball machines are a big positive for me. Ordered meatballs, garlic knots, and a pizza. We got cannolis to go for dessert, and it was a very good cannoli. We dined in for the visit. Food came out fairly quick, and everything tasted great. I have no complaints here. All the staff was great and helpful. For us, this spot is a big win for a small business, especially when big chain competition is nearby. I would say skip the big chain competition and support your local business.
