Great pizzas - as someone from New York I'd give it a solid 7.8 crust was incredible, toppings were awesome!

This place is a GEM! If they delivered I'd probably go bankrupt. They have a concise menu and make every single item extremely well. My only complaint is they need a bigger location if they are going to be putting out food that good. Parking is a hot mess so id recommend coming early to find a spot. Service is always spot on. The spot has a cool, trendy, dark vibe. They tend to play the music a little too loud so not a spot I'd come to for an intimate date.

We had planned an actual get together with a couple of friends. We planned on meeting up at Staas for a couple of beers, but we knew we would be hungry. Pre-COVID Staas would have food trucks in the evening. But this is post-COVID and we do not need a reminder that our world is different. Staas currently was not having food trucks*. So we pivoted and decided to try Mohio Pizza. We had never had their pizza before. I called to make sure that they took to go orders and they assured me they did. The day of our get together came and I called to pre-order our take out pizzas. Even though there were only four of us, but we knew we wanted to get a good variety of the pizzas they offered, so we ordered up 4 different pies. The pizzas were ready at the quoted time. We walked them over to Staas and they smelled delicious. As we laid the pies out on the table to be able to serve ourselves family style, we began to get super excited. Not only were the aromas mouth watering, but the pizzas looked delicious with just the right amount of char. We had ordered Pepperoni, Rosa, Soppressata Ricotta, and Mushroom and Cheese (a white pizza). I tried them all and they were scrumptious. What I first noticed was the dough. Mohio's pizza dough is phenomenal. I would order it again, just because of the perfect dough. And the char does not overbear the other flavors, it complements it. The tomato sauce tastes fresh. I honestly wonder if they make it in house. The garlic is garlic, but not in your face. It is the perfect balance. The Mushroom and Cheese pizza is a white pizza, but it is perfect. It may have been my favorite. I can not wait to go back because I have to try their Margherita pizza, I bet it is pure perfection. I highly suggest a pint at Staas with a to go pizza from Mohio next time you are in Delaware. You will not be disappointed. *After talking to Donald, one of the owners of Staas, he mentioned that they purposely do not have food trucks currently. His thought is it encourages his patrons to support locals restaurants in the area if they want food with their beers. And that is exactly what we did, we supported a local restaurant while having a beer at Staas. What a thoughtful decision by Staas.

Classic Italian Sandwich

I absolutely love this place. The kale salad is never around long enough in front of me to take a photo LOL. The Italian sandwich is perfection. Mo really does put all the live into his food. The bartenders are fantastic and make unique, delicious cocktails that are out of this world. Do yourself a favor and stop in soon.

MOHIO's sausage and pepperoni. Delish!

We recently discovered MOHIO after an impromptu strole through downtown Delaware with the kiddos. I highly recommend MOHIO for scratch made pizzas both traditional and inventive. The sausage poblano with a sprinkle of Sriracha powder was just as excellent as the kids' more mainstream sausage and pepperoni. Plus, you can taste how the salads and meatball starter are housemade and very tasty. Looking forward to going back on Wednesdays to try their house smoked wings.

I used to love this place, but the service has been so lacking the last few times i've been in with the wait staff being actively rude.

The whole place gave off a "white guy spends two weeks a year staying in a resort in Hawaii and tried to bring it to Delaware vibe. Stop describing things as Hawaiian that just aren't. The 21 dollar "Hawaiian" combo appetizer was supposed to be "Hawaiian" battered mushrooms but were breaded mushrooms out of a Sysco bag and tasted awful. The "Hawaiian" French fries were just Sysco battered fries with no seasoning. They advertised it came with six wings, it came with six boneless nuggets. The menu doesn't mention they're boneless at all. The service was fantastic though, shame they can't afford a staff and have the General Manager doing everything but cooking. I don't see this place surviving. Anyone know who owns this place? Doesn't feel like they are experienced in the restaurant industry.

Backstretch is super casual (given Ohio Wesleyan is nearby - its almost a college/town bar) but great to come in a sit at the bar or one of their booths. It isnt big, maybe 15-20 bar stools and 12 booths and 1-2 tables. This time we picked a booth and a great server (Jacobi) helped us right away. Fun part of backstretch is the staff. Servers are friendly, you can watch the cooks prepare your food, and they have a full bar. Note they dont have many draft beer options, but servers tried hard to get us something we liked. Food here is fresh off the grill and tastes like home cooked food - from their Reuben(which was amazing) to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (has kick but so good) - you cant go wrong. This time we added Tots, Mac and Cheese, and the Deviled eggs (most sandwiches are served with a deviled egg - tasty). We also tried Jacobi recommendation of Hencock Tots - wing sauce - cheese and bacon. Should have just made that my meal. Amazing. They dont take reservations but unless there is an event in downtown, you can usually walk in for dinner. This was our third visit in 60 days! Ready to go back - thanks Jacobi for a fun night and see you all soon.

And the building and restaurant has a cool history as being one of the oldest in the state. My server Ian was cool as was the rest of the staff I encounter. It s nice to see younger people with goals who take pride in where they work. He recommended the grilled sirloin which was good: A simple nice grilled steak with great char marks and seasoning. The potato was okay, and I couldn't tell if it was from a box or they peeled them, but they were tasty and a nice large portion. It just needed butter which they brought me. The Caesar salad was very good, and I am picky about both salads and dressings... I could have even eaten more of that! I am glad they are preserving it and its legacy. I am also glad they are open on Monday when many of their competitors in Delaware are NOT! When I first thought of Bunns, I thought of old people, and this clearly contemporary with an updated menu!
