Amazing Tikka Masala pizza. Great crust! Loaded with toppings . This is a not to be missed pizza!! So creative!

I I ordered online at 4:35pm. On email stated it would be ready by 4:50 another email stated it would be ready by 4:58 pm I went in at 5;00 just in case. We had a little issue communicating because I'm deaf. The person thought I wanted to place an order but I had to explain I already placed an online order. He then went to check and told me I needed to come back in 10 more minutes. When I came back 15 minutes later it still was not ready. There were two men working and they could have been the owners. I ordered the chicken parmigiana. The sauce tasted fake. Like not even from a jar but I'm sure it was. Hey guys a little tip. Learn how to make sauce. Then you can jar it and use it on a lot of your dishes. That will make a difference. I promise you. The bread tasted fresh so keep that up. I did not try the pizza and apparently that's what they are known for because when I was there they were making a lot of them. Maybe I should have tried that instead. Sooo the final question, would I come back? No. Remember my criteria is based on 3 things. 1.ambiance 2. Service 3. Food / taste 1. Well there was none. Unless she was willing to arm wrestle me for the check 2. I received 2 emails with two different times and none of them were right. I had to wait even longer. 3. Taste. Disappointed. Pretty solid pizza here folks! I've gotten this delivered to my friends place in Upper Arlington a handful of times and it's always been delicious, straight forward pizza. I tend to stick with a plain cheese pizza, but my friends usually get one with pepperoni. The sauce is good and the cheese is always plentiful. I also really like this crust, especially when dipped in ranch dressing. If you're looking for more than pizza, they have subs, wings, and salads, amongst a few other items. My boyfriend and I got takeout from Casa Di Pizza using their order ahead system. When we arrived 20 minutes after placing the order, the staff at Casa informed us that they had just received the order due to a glitch and we would have to wait further. To apologize for the delay, they offered us a free order of mozzarella sticks. This was a kind gesture. The pizza was solid! We requested it be cut into triangles (apparently this is blasphemy in central Ohio) and they obliged. The toppings were fine and the crust was solid. The free mozzarella sticks were also solid! Casa Di Pizza is a strip mall joint that serves unpretentious food. It's located next to Cliffside Tavern. There's a hole in the wall. It's possible to order from the bar. They serve it right through the hole to you. It has what you would find at a typical pizza place. It's no surprise pizza is the main thing here. They also have ribs and subs. It's not anything mind blowing. Mainly it's pretty good drunken food. It's a nice compliment to cocktails at the bar. You need something to absorb these. I had a vegetable sub. It's about $6 for this. The wait was about 20 minutes, so I headed over to the bar and drank up. A hole in the wall is between the businesses. You can order from the bar and eat something from there without actually having to go inside. Casa Di Pizza is not bad. It compares favorably to other pizza places in strip malls. I was finally able to find a BLT pizza in the city ! I've been looking everywhere and finally! A cute to-go pizza spot tucked smack-dab in the middle of the shopping complex. Orders can be made online or by phone call. Not only was the BLT amazing (I really do appreciate the way it's made with the bacon on the bottom! Literally- bacon in every bite!) But the CRUST- oh good lawd have MERCY! Some of the BEST crust I've had in Columbus . I've been three times in the past three Weeks ordering the same personal BLT pizza and it is super consistent on taste and that amazing crust. No fountain drinks available (I'm sure that's most places now due to COvID ) but they do offer Hanks bottled soda (cream , orange, grape, root beer and black cherry flavors). Not bad pizza for the price. Got the 10 inch with extra sauce ( upcharge of 50¢ which no other pizza place have ever charged me before), 1 topping of mushrooms - that cost an extra dollar, if you order from create your own menu. With a can of pop, the total cost was just over $10. Crispy crust was done just right. Sauce was a little on the spicy side, but not too. I liked the amount of cheese and topping, but I like those on lighter side. Warmed up well the next day. Of course, I will get 3 meals out of it, but big eaters might finish it in one. I took a star off for just having Pepsi products which should be avoided if possible. Also a star off for only cans or bottles. Since only 3 tables most business must be take out. I ate in. Pepperoni and sausage. Decent pie. Crust has a bit of crunch similar to gatto's. It's not flaky and cracker like as Tommy's is. Sauce is slightly sweet which I normally don't like much, but the pepperoni offset it well. Cheese Is decent. Sausage is nothing to write home about, similar to chain pizza. First of all, this crust was CRUNCHY!! but it wasn't burnt! & it had some saltiness to it. The topping coverage was pretty decent and it had good flavor. I'm usually not a big fan of fresh mushrooms on pizza since they dry out, but they weren't too bad on this pie! The sauce had a slight kick to it which was really good. We also threw in a couple Italian subs to the order which had plenty of filling and good flavor, though my sub bun was pretty soggy. That's nothing to cry about though, it happens! Reasonable prices. My partner and I used to get this place a lot. It powered us through the pandemic as we live less than a mile away from it, and it was our absolute FAVORITE pizza in the area. For as long as I can remember it was always an Indian run pizza place or at least all the workers were Indian. It was so good. The last two times I have gone the workers that used to be there aren't there anymore, and the pizza has changed drastically. It just doesn't taste the same. I thought maybe the previous time was a one-off but I just got it again the other night and it was confirmed that it's just not as good as when it was the old workers. What an unfortunate fall from grace. The whole 'judge's choice' thing that they still put on the box was from almost 20 years ago, and that was a different pizza and a different owner. This place used to be hands down one of the best pizza shops in the city. I'm not sure what changes have been made with new owners over the past couple of years, but after my third bad pizza in a row from them, I think it is time to say farewell. Website says 'voted best pizza in the Columbus by restaurant guru 2023', but restaurant guru (whatever that is) has them actually listed at #112...probably because there are actually over 100 better places. What used to be a crispy, somewhat sweet/spicy and seemingly fresh pizza is now a chewy, flavorless circle of mediocrity. It was like I ordered a pizza that sat around from yesterday. If you order from them, I really hope it turns out good for you. Three back to back kind of gross pizzas in a row for me, and I'm checking out after close to two decades as a customer. The sign on the door reads "Pizza and Ribs". I took it as a sign and ordered "pizza and ribs." Focus, man, focus! Casa di Pizza appeared to be primarily a take out/delivery joint. They also serve up the grub at the bar next door (Cliffside Bar) through an old school hole in the wall between the two joints. I slipped into Cliffside for a beer while waiting on my pizza. One day I will put that experience into a review, but for now I need therapy. CdP's ribs literally fall off the bone. Picking them up by the bone to eat them is really not even an option. The sauce is not your normal BBQ sauce (tasted orangey to me). I enjoyed the ribs. The wife did not. Split decision on the ribs. The pizza is a traditional, edge to edge, square cut Ohio pie. The crust is slightly thicker than most Ohio pies, but also very light and crispy. The peps were nice and spicy, the way I love them. The schrooms were fresh and the sauce was decent (with a slightly sweet note that really played well with the spicy pepperoni). The cheese ratio was nailed. Casa di Pizza won the Judges' Choice for Best Pizza at the 2007 Slice of Columbus event, so it is definitely worth checking out. The pizza itself is good. Good crust. Price point is little on the higher side but I guess this is not a domino's. $11 for most 10 inch pizzas. Side note: The personal 7" is just ridiculously small. 10" should be called personal and the 7" should be renamed "mini-snack". Ok maybe Snack. I'll be nice. It was a group of us (six people) on a slow weekday. What could possibly go wrong?!. can't say anything in particular went wrong but lets say it could've gone better. I think they need to work some of the ordering process flaws they have. When you have a dining group (dine-in sitting on a table), their order should not fall back behind other pickup/delivery orders they receive on the phone. Whole thing was weird. Some of us got their pizzas before others. I can tell they received a huge order over the phone about the same time we gave our order in. It was easy to tell because we could hear it. The place is tiny with very few tables, mostly for big group setting , if you put the tables together. I did not complain about the wait. I've had worse elsewhere. I get it. Another person in the group did complain and was offered their pizza "half-off". I think they expected it on the house, since they had to wait 50 minutes for a 10" pizza. Would've been fair. This place came highly recommended by my buddy Bradley. So I got high, and I figured I'd give them a chance to "wow" me... and they absolutely did. I asked the sweet lady at the counter what I should order. She told me to get the wings and a pizza. The Hot wings were quite hot and quite flavorful. I tasted some habanero and some turmeric maybe. So good. I also ordered the Garlic Parmesan. And let me say... they were balls to the wall good. The homemade ranch dressing was fresh... and was a tasty offering. And the pizza? On a lazy Friday night when my bf and I were hungry and didn't want to wait for delivery we ordered Casa di Pizza since it is close to our house. It is located in a plaza off of mckinley next to a convenience store and a bar. I wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The crust was extremely thin and cracker like with plenty of toppings. Also, when I went to pick it up there must be a weekend special because it was only $10 for a large pepperoni mushroom pizza.
