I heard a bit of hype on this spot from some folks at work, and while me and the fam were out doing a few errands, thought we'd stop by and give it a shot for lunch. I'll start off by saying that this spot was very clean, especially during the afternoon rush. I'll start off with the wings since I'm a wing kinda guy. I was really thrown off by the dry season for mango habanero, I was expecting these wings to be sauced up. Honestly they weren't bad. Not the best, but still delicious for dry rub of this flavor. The sub was not your run of the mill sandwich, this sub had a generous portion of meat to it. Very good sub for lunch. Pizza was really nothing spectacular, and let be be fair, this wasn't a terrible pizza, it was just a pizza. For a thin crust, was a tad let down with the flimsiness of each slice. And maybe I need to start ordering pizza a little well done. Maybe it's my fault. Still, I need to be fair here with my review, the service was very good. There was hardly a wait for the drink orders to be taken and served, and the server was very customer focused and very engaged. Will we come back, yes, more than likely. Good spot for a quick lunch, we will definitely have to give the rest of the menu a chance. read more

Was told pizza is excellent. Stick with pizza bc other entrees are not as good. The fettucini Alfredo was very similar to Michelinas at the grocery! The noodles were hard and the garlic bread accompanying it was cold. Wasn't worth take away box to fix flavor at home. The steak sub was ok but I was hungry by the time we ate. It wasnt sliced steak as normally found at other restaurants; it was more like a cube steak..? Added red pepper flakes and Parmesan for added flavor. The salad looked and smelled very good but was afraid to eat bc of the bad vegy reviews going round with people getting sick. If I return it will only be for the pizza which I wish I could've gotten but we attended an event and they weren't serving pizza. Ahhh ambiance: door frame in event room was crumbling and nasty looking at the bottom. Ugh. read more

Our first time here and we were very, very tired, we mistakenly thought we were stopping at the Cottage Inn for pizza. We quickly realized our mistake upon arrival. We did, however, find a comfy, cozy place to relax with family and friends while enjoying this Ohio style pizza that has made a lasting impression with us. We like lots of toppings, especially the cupping style pepperoni and plenty of iced tea. We're still deciding the cost value vs experienced received. It's 50/50. Sadly, the young lady serving us showed little patience or civility. Clearly unhappy about something, we managed a smile when she told us the odd spelling of her name. We tried, but she really put a damper on an otherwise wonderful evening. 07/24 read more

We ordered over the phone for pick up. Order was taken by AI answer service. Took over 5 minutes to get her to understand what we wanted. That service is a joke. Went to pick it up and when we got home it was the wrong pizza we ordered, she apparently didn't understand what we wanted. If a pizza place can't have someone answer the phone at that location they shouldn't be in business. The sub was good. Probably won't be back. Plenty of other pizza places in Pickerington to choose from. read more

When I woke up this morning by I was exhilarated for my morning pizza cottage trek; However, when I arrived at the store to pick up my plain spaghetti with the meatballs and sauce on the side there was something amiss. Due to this revelation my mood turned sour, sadly when I opened the bag I was greeted TWO containers, given my request there should be at least THREE, I can only assume that the fat employee that was working the counter must've eaten the other one, although I never found that out. 0/5 never coming back read more

This Pizza Cottage is located off Hill road and Refugee road in Pickerington. We stopped into this location after supporting a friend's son during the rivalry football game between North vs Central. We arrived around 10:30 pm with a large appetite and thrist. Ordered some drinks and a medium pizza with some of our favorite toppings. Cocktails were light on the pour but didn't expect a heavy pour non the less. The service was slow to acknowledge we drank our cocktails fast with no offer of another. That didn't sit well with me so we just didn't ask for another by the time our pizza arrived. We got pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage and banana peppers. The pizza was edge to edge toppings and crispy throughout. Who likes a middle piece and that piece is soggy, nope, not this pizza! Deliciously crispy and I had to fight with my husband for those middle pieces. Not usually a thing. Ha. The sauce was sweet, the sausage was chunky, salty and big, the mushrooms were slightly rubbery and banana peppers gave this all character. This pizza place has all the makings of a great foundation, however, a few things would make this a 4-5 star. The quality of toppings are everything to tie the pizza together and attentiveness of the service staff. The perfect amount of sauce and cheese along with the crispy crust was the winner. We don't live in Pickerington nor close to another Pizza Cottage so not sure I am craving to return but wouldn't snub my nose to it either. read more

Delivery came quickly and pizza was hot. We were less thrilled with the very heavy toppings on a nice thin crust. Would love a better balance. Even the single topping pepperoni had way too much. If you like mostly toppings and very little crust, this is the place for you! The square cuts were fun but seemed wasteful. No one ate the triangles and arcs created around the edges. read more

The food is fantastic, I have always received friendly service and the atmosphere can be whatever you want to make it.

I go into the lobby and stand in line. After standing several minutes with no one approaching to help I go sit down and opt to call instead. I sit on hold for awhile and enjoy the view. Someone answers and immediately hangs up... mistakes happen. I go online and order. We eventually get our pizzas back home. Well... that was the last time for pizza cottage. read more

Scheduled pizza to be delivered at 6:00pm for my employees and family after I my business closed for the day. The manager decided since they got a big order from Amazon that they would make our order and deliver it an hour early at 5pm. I was still open and assisting my customers when someone walks in with my order, before all the people eating had even arrived or before I closed my store. It'd be one thing if the order was late but you sent it an hour early to make your life easier to cook for another order you decided was more important. I called into the store and the manager acted like it was no big deal they sent a scheduled order over an hour early to make room for their Amazon client. My guests had to eat cold pizza, never been back and never will be back read more

While visiting family they brought me to Pizza Cottage for lunch. They clearly come in a lot bc waiter, Eric, knew them and their orders. He was a good waiter so explained their loyalty. They have a nice lunch special with entree, side and drink. I opted for the calzone. It was cooked golden brown and was delicious. Perfect size and thin crust so not overly doughy like some places. Definitely a pizza place to check out in Lancaster! read more

Pizza Cottage was great. HOWEVER, be aware that if you use the online ordering through YELP - they charge more than calling and ordering directly from Pizza Cottage. We were charged $15.00 more than the menu prices!!!!!!! In addition, our order did not go through correctly and I had to call Yelp/GrubHub directly at 1-877-585-1085 read more

First time ordering from there! Delicious! Yelp got my order to them late but they made up for it by giving me a $5 off coupon. Great staff!

Good service, clean, fresh food, plenty of parking (but this place does tend to get busy). Pizza is the star of the show, and my favorite is the BLT pizza. It's on a white cracker crust and just melts in your mouth. I live out of state, and when I'm in the area, I always get one to take him (it's that good!). The menu has something for everyone, very family friendly place. read more

I remember really loving they're calzones with ranch dressing and renting The Martian so 4 stars for that reason

Great pizza and friendly staff! The quality is good whether eating in or taking out. They have the basics as well as a variety of specialty pizzas. The cauliflower crust is awesome with a thin, crispy texture. One of the best cauliflower crusts I have tried. read more

Great cauliflower crust pizza...very crisp! Cannot recommend fore highly. Chicken Philly on white sauce is a go to for us.

Never saw such a greasy pizza. Gross. Service is ok. Won't be going back. Also don't order mushrooms on your pizza unless you love the canned variety. read more

1st timer here this past week. The wait staff was fanatic and our drinks were never empty. Pizza... just the normal cheese and pep, was quite tasty and could be one of my Go-To pizza joints if I lived in the area. Cheesy Bread... I really liked the grated parm blended in top. Mozzarella Bites... The triangles were not my favorite, but the sauce was good. I prefer actual mozzarella sticks. Side Garden Salad... I love a salad and they didn't disappoint. I liked that they have a separate bar area and a covered outdoor seating area. Deducted 1-Star because the table and floor wasn't cleaned to my liking, and there seemed to be an odor like the floors had been cleaned with a dirty mop bucket. Overall... I would recommend and will go back again. read more

One of the "go tos" for the family. They have great options of regular pizza, specialty pizza, subs, wings, spaghetti, and dessert pizza. Their salad selection lacks so don't think ur coming here to eat healthy. We love the BLT pizza. We have tried it in a lot of other places and like theirs best by far. The classic pepperoni is always an easy selection and never disappoints. Service is pretty good and people are always pleasant. Good pizza. Good value. It's a safe bet! read more

I've only had pizza at this location once, mainly because there are so many other pizza places, much closer to me. In fact, I would probably be out of their delivery radius (but I don't think that they deliver). The one visit that I had to their location was a pleasant one and I did enjoy the service and pizza very much. That being said, when I worked in Hebron, I ordered from them often because they delivered to my job. I always ordered the lunch special which was a great deal, just as it is at the Pickerington location. For $7.49, they offer a 7" 1-topping pizza, salad and a drink. The salad is a great portion size and the pizza is delicious. Including a drink for that price makes it a great deal and worth purchasing, if you visit this location at lunch time. Definitely worth a try. read more

I'm awarding Pizza Cottage a 4star review based solely on their pepperoni pizza, which is amazing! The standard Cbus crispy cracker crust and loaded with cooked-to-perfection pepperoni! That pie is always consistently delicious and service is friendly and quick. However, as a frequent patron of Pizza Cottage, I've finally learned my lesson.. do not veer away from the pizza!! Yelpers, please take note. Do not order apps, do not get a sub, do not get a salad - or prepare yourself for disappointment! Pizza - delicious. Everything else on the menu - subpar at best. Couple examples.. one visit ordered a 'large' Italian salad. This pathetic excuse for a 'large' came in a tiny container of wilted lettuce and decomposing tomatoes, barely enough for a single serving with a cost of $7.99 Then on another visit ordered a PLT sub, which is an amazing sub sandwich for an establishment that cooks their pepperoni to that perfect crispiness.. but there's more mayo on this sub than pepperoni!? This could be a game changer if they loaded the sub up with pep like they do their pies. Anyways, Pizza Cottage is awesome just stay in the pizza lane! read more

I have been ordering Pizza Cottage Pizza since the 70's when they opened in Carroll. Jack and Yvonne Gorham, who started Pizza Cottage would not be happy. Tonight I ordered a large thin pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, green peppers and onions. Every item added $2.87 additional cost to the pizza. When the pizza arrived, I maybe had $0.10 worth of onions and $0.10 worth of green peppers. When they started Pizza Cottage they put the same amount of pepperoni and other toppings on no matter how many toppings you add. Now they charge you $2.87 more for each topping, but give you less of each item. So sad to see. read more

I don't do tomatoes. Nope. No spaghetti sauce. No tomato soup. No chunks in my salad. And of course, no red sauce on my pizza! Pizza Cottage continues to be a personal favorite. Why? Chicken Philly pizza! Slices grilled chicken, provolone and American cheese, green pepper, onion slivers, and fresh slices of mushroom to top it off. I've never had to wait more than 25 minutes for my food - and that's when it's very busy. The pizza is always hot, fresh out of the oven! Love it :) read more

This Pizza Place was amazing. *note they have food trucks to. The Pizza was delicious and the service was excellent. That's 5 stars. The one thing was this place can't be looking like Popeyes before they had the chicken sandwich. The pizza is a little too greasy. And by a little I mean a lot. It was delicious but they kinda went a little overboard with the oil. The pizza was delicious the crust was buttery and crunchy. The sauce was hot and sweet, the cheese was extra cheesy. Great place read more

Tonight I ordered a pizza. The girl who I ordered with told me 35 to 40 mins for pickup. Got there the girl at the window took our money then told us they had a problem with the printer, so told us the pizza was in the oven and to pull up and she will bring it out to us. We waited 20 mins and I went in and still no pizza. I told the girl I wanted to talk to the manager and I want my money back. I told the manager what happen and all she could say is they are busy and a lot of young kids working. VERY BAD BUSINESS. Left with nothing to eat for the night read more

Horrible service. Unfortunate that their wings are so amazing here because every time you order them they tell you 15-20 minutes and then when you arrive 25 minutes later they haven't even started the order yet. This has happened the past 5 times we have come here: we order pizza from papa johns now because pizza cottage ruined our pizza way to many times. Need to find better wings somewhere else. As if writing this review I have been waiting 45 minutes for wings suppose to be done in 15-20 and they JUST put them in. Horrible service. read more

Ok. The pizza is ok, not great, not bad, but just like 100 other pizza places in Central Ohio. Didn't like it when they took Sam Adams off tap and put that PA swill on. Anyway, my biggest problem with this place, at least the Pickerington location, is the damn fluorescent lights in the dinning room that will burn holes in your eyes and make you pray for the sweet sting of Death to take you away. I HATE FLUORESCENT LIGHTING. ITS LIKE A BAR AT LAST CALL. read more
