This is my fave stall in the non-food section of the West Side Bazaar. The clothes are so pretty! This is also the one I spent the most money at for my mother when she was here. I have no idea if she actually wears any of the stuff we bought here (which must have been every colour of the rainbow and more), but knowing her, she probably puts them on for work and for watching TV and "brewing up" (making a cuppa) alike. My favourite thing is that they sell those adorable little nodding cat-heads that all of the Asian places in the world seem to sell. So there is one familiar item (or set of items) among all of the colourful, exotic Burmese awesomeness. This stall seems to do slightly better than the others, but still, with the prices (which are lower than I expected) and the relative lack of business, I worry for all of these stalls. Please come in and check them all out and see what you think. If I were a hippie drunk girl from Manchester, I'd much rather shop here than at any well-known clothing store, even the local ones. The parking lot is large and easy, and the front entrance is accessible with no stairs. Restrooms are gender-neutral. The building itself is set away from the main street and hard to see if you don't know it's there. There is a tiny "Hyatt" sign at the driveway, which is shared with the oil change place. Go past the oil change place and you'll see the large blue building. This store is well worth seeking out.

It takes all of my free will to not take a pic of it and go to Michael's or buy it direct for half the price though. When I was in undergrad it was fun to hear here and get "the nice" supplies but the price increases just give me anxiety when I come here. I think every home in Buffalo should have one. My mother's (in Oxford, England) now does. Unfortunately, again, I'm the first person to review this. And I think in the entire 3 hours we were browsing the WSB (and eating there), we may have been the only ones to purchase anything from Nadeen. She may be making a little money, but Nadeenough to survive, I would imagine. It's a shame that most of us shop at the chains and the Malls and pay twice as much for things far less authentic, many of which are made in sweat shops. Meanwhile our own WNY immigrant Nadeen makes these herself and sits around in the WSB most of the day wondering if business will ever pick up. They're absolutely amazing. They are able to custom steel work for just about any occasion. Having done work for local businesses like the Bills, Kiss 98.5, and Mighty, they definitely have made a name for themselves. They do a lot of military tribute items, but my experiences with them has been for custom wedding gifts. I had a lot of weddings this past summer, and every one I brought a custom piece of work from Steel Crazy. I worked with the artist, Dennis, and he came up with great designs that my newly married friends can appreciate for years to come. I did a wide range of steel designs from Disney, New York State, to Buffalos. Dennis and the rest of the team made all of my tough deadlines, and were able to create great pieces within my budget constraints. I'll be a customer of them for life. Highly suggest to check them out for those "hard-to-buy gifts for" people.
