The worst Thai food I've had in a long time. Overly sweet and zero spice. I know some Thai dishes like green curry are a little sweet but had take out yesterday and every dish was sickly sweet with zero spice. Pad Kra Pao, is supposed to be quite spicy but the version from here had no spice at all. Yuk. read more

Disappointed with our take-out order tonight... Quality and quantity definitely went down during COVID. The BBQ Beef Short Ribs were very tough and super chewy -- almost inedible. The Pad See Ew was drowned in oil and the noodles were very soggy. Papaya salad still tastes amazing but there was more carrot as filler than before and not enough papaya. For the amount we paid ($50), it was not worth it. Tbh, I'm so sad and shocked to be writing this review. This used to be our favorite Thai restaurant in the Corona area. This place can accommodate large groups and excellent service. Best of all the food, very tasty you will be back! I ordered the yummy Shrimp Curry and chicken Prik King, generous portions you will definitely have leftovers. Ask for the Chai tea with Bobba, one of my go to drinks. We ordered food on 08/20/23 to go. In the past we have also dinned in. Our request was to have vegetarian items. The spicy Fried rice (no egg or tofu) and the papaya salad to be vegetarian, for regions reasons. They failed to make it vegetarian. This was very disappointing. I asked if I could bring the food back and I am still waiting for a call back. My order was #59 and we paid $56.33. Things are so expensive so for me to have pay this amount was very upsetting.They finally called me back. I asked If I could bring the food back? She said NO so please be mindful of this place.Why support a community restaurant if they won't take care of its customer's request. She sure spoke perfect English when I said to remake my two items or credit me back for the two vegetarian items. read more

When I looked up the reviews, this place seemed pretty good so I decided to give it a try. This Thai restaurant has great food and also fast and friendly service. It looked quiet from the outside but it was pretty busy inside. There's plenty of parking and it shares a lot in a big plaza. I order the Tom Kha Kai, Combination Pad Thai (chicken, pork, beef and shrimp), Crying Tiger and the Sweet Roti Puff. The food came out pretty quick, I was surprised because they were getting pretty busy. You HAVE to get the Crying Tiger, it was really good and came with a tangy spicy sauce that complimented it very well. You can have the meat cooked to your liking and can really taste that "grilled" flavor. This will be a MUST order dish for me when I come back again. It also comes with a side of rice. I would rate this dish a 5/5! The Tom Kha Kai was also pretty good, had enough coconut milk and a nice flavor. It wasn't too sour, just right. I usually don't see Napa cabbage in most Tom Kha Kai but, it was still good. The soup would be a 4/5 to me. For the Combination Pad Thai, it was good and you can never really go wrong with ordering pad Thai as it is a pretty common Thai dish. The combination comes with chicken, beef, pork and shrimp. I would rate their pad Thai a 4/5. The Sweet Roti Puff was a nice dessert, pretty sweet because it's drizzled with condensed milk and a lot of sugar! I used it eat it as a child and it brought back great memories. I would give this a 5/5 but if I order again, ask that they only have the condensed milk with no sugar. Their service was great and they were pretty attentive even though they were busy! The food came out faster than I expected, but it was great because I came in really hungry. I like Thai Thai on 6th slightly better for my taste since it feels slightly less sweet and offer a bit better value, but Seven Seas still offers very good Thai food. They have nice workers and more modern ambiance that's great for dine-in (during non-covid time..). I get take out from them once every few weeks, and they have never let me down in the past 2 years. read more

I went to this location because my normal go-to thai food place was closed but I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered $80 worth of food for take-out and it was ready in 15 minutes!!!! The spring rolls really stood out to me because the portion was gigantic it literally came with like 7 rolls and the peanut sauce was so creamy n sweet. Crab rangoons are delicious a must have. The garlic ribs were over cooked and very dry. The rad Na was not mixed. They gave a giant clump of noodles that were over cooked. When I tried to mix them with the gravy it was confetti. Every Time I come here they never fail me. First of all the service is always so fast. The food always comes out so fast and it's nice and hot and fresh! I usually always get the same thing shrimp pad Thai but this last visit during Covid I changed it up and tried the hot and sour shrimp soup. It was pretty good. Since we had to dine outside in the evening it was a little cooler so I wanted soup to warm me up and it was perfect. My mom had the cashew chicken which she always orders and loves. This is definitely my go to Thai spot. They have great accommodations during Covid right now with a patio seating outside with cute little lights up. Anytime I want Thai I come here! read more

I come here often, and have been pleased with everything I've ordered except for the Tom Yum soup, it was way too sweet. Everything else I've had has been pretty good though. This is review #1 for Seven Seas, with plans for an update (yep we're going back). The first thing I found intriguing was the dining room set up, roomy with lots of tables/booths, and also a large bar/counter where singles can mingle. Secondly, the menu was extremely impressive and extensive. Hmmm, my first thought was, did a new place like this bite off more than they can chew????? Our first meal started with the tom kah kai soup. Hubby and I split a cup and were extremely surprised at what a generous serving they brought, full of chicken and mushrooms, and expertly flavored coconut flavored broth. So happy I tried it! I am so picky about this one. Next came a spicy beef salad. This was good, the beef was tender but too charred on the outside. Not as good as another place I like in Riverside. That being said, it was still excellent. Third part of our order was the Massaman curry, a beef dish with potato and peanuts. This was my least favorite, a little too sweet, but still generous portions. Then arrived the crab fried rice. This had to be one of the best I have had the pleasure of tasting anywhere. I would definitely recommend this. All the dishes we ordered were very generous portions. Happy already, we also ordered the coconut ice cream to top things off. First bite, and folks, there are few that can compare with theirs! Two large scoops of frozen coconut milk and cream, plenty for two to share (if I am feeling nice). Not too sweet, with tender lumps of fresh coconut , then topped with a generous handful of dry roasted peanuts. Every bite went down easily. After cornering the owner, Patty, we found that she makes two of the ice creams from scratch. Besides the coconut , she also does a Thai Tea ice cream. Hmmm, if it is as delish as the coconut....... We had a very informative, animated conversation with Patty, and she is far from new to the restaurant business (maybe 24 years experience?). This explains why the restaurant is running so smoothly already and they can off such a long list of excellent food choices, even though they have just been open barely one month. I love the multi-paged menu, with many familiar Thai dishes as well as some new, adventurous one. And from what we tasted last night, there will always be something great to please our palate. I am especially looking forward to trying the GIANT prawns dishes, the pepper pork ribs, the pineapple fried rice, and the dishes that use the glass noodle. She also has a lunch menu with prices that start in the $5 range. Very do-able. She is a wonderful addition to a growing number of great restaurants starting to choose Corona as their stomping grounds. 7 Seas is very accessible and visible from the 15 freeway, and parking is great too. As a Coronan who has lived in Asia for the past 25 years, id say Seven Seas is quite terrible as authentic Thai food or any food. In Corona anyway, Thai Tuk Tuk on 6th St, not mentioned in Yelp, is really pretty good. It looks sorta awful from the outside but the food is far better than Seven Seas which I will not visit again. On my first visit to SS, it didnt smell right inside and when the dishes came I started laughing (whats this?!). I found the waitress and told her I didnt like the food but would agree to come one more time if she promised to serve whatever food you (you, the thai people) eat for dinner in the kitchen because I know they wouldnt eat this swill. She agreed but I never went back. I recommend diners do the same. Forget the menu, ask to fill the table with dishes THEY eat, that will be the best test and who knows, it might become a good place after all. In fairness, there is a difference between asian food and american-asian food, I know this. In truth, real thai food is probably too hot and spicy for the average american. My complaint is if you are thai, claiming to be a thai cook, and open a thai restaurant, the food has to be right and good. You can tone down the hotness without losing flavor. This review has seriously been long over due. I've been going here forever! My usual order is a ToGo order of combination Pad Thai and combination green curry. I've had other dishes here such as the Thai sausage (I love it), Tom yum (it's okay), crying tiger (it's good, but sometimes fatty), pad see ew (good), and some other dishes. But, for some reason I always go back to these dishes. It is seriously so addicting. My husband and I decided to dine in for once, and was so surprised they had a lunch special! The price was was so good for the amount of food you get. I think for the 2 dishes we only paid less than $20 not including tip. I've been to a lot of Thai places, and in my opinion even SOME places in Thailand that doesn't really come close to the tastes of their food. (Before you start saying I don't know what Thai food is, yes I'm Thai and I've had my fair share of Thai food.) But, it's cheap, fast, and tastes really good. Overall, the food is really good for the price. One thing I do have to say is that the waitresses were all very friendly and nice. But, they literally drop your food off and kind of disappeared. So, if you need a check or extra refill of water. You might have to just keep flagging them down. Either way, I'm going to still come back here. :) Ps. I forgot to add don't forget to try their Thai Tea. It's pretty good! But, sometimes the boba is a hit or miss. read more

The atmosphere and cleanliness made me rate it 4 stars, food is 3 stars for suure, but since it's fancy looking on the inside and great to take the family or date hence the 4 stars. This is one of three places I go to regularly. I have been coming here for a few years. It started out as every few weeks and quickly turned into a weekly visit. I've never been disappointed, the food is always on point and never takes to long. My all time favorite Thai food spot. Always ask for their spices to put on top of your food! It's a must.
