The wait was minimal, 10 mins for a technician to become available. Good selection of nail polishes, mainly DND, lacking in OPI availability. I got Chi who did a wonderful and thorough job on the Signature Spa Pedicure w/Cucumber Fresh Scent $57. It included 10 minutes feet massage and 5 mins shoulder massage, along with paraffin wax. My feet felt pampered by the time I left. I was given 10% discount in my first visit, even got a free rose cuticle oil as a gift! I'll be back next time I'm in the area!

The technician blamed the issue on me for "scratching my nose" instead of keeping my hand under the light, which was both rude and inaccurate, as the problem occurred on both hands--not just the one I briefly moved. Even after the redo, the polish did not cure properly. Less than 48 hours later, the nails are still malleable and the top layer of polish is already flaking off. Although I could return to request a redo, their website notes that refunds are not offered--only corrections within a limited timeframe. Given the experience, I do not feel comfortable returning or spending additional time on a service that should have been done correctly the first time.

I've been going to this nail salon for a while and usually have a decent experience, but…read moreunfortunately, this visit really missed the mark--and it wasn't the first time I've had an issue with this particular nail tech. He seems to always be rushed and not neat. My pedicure was great. The woman who did it was kind, professional, and took her time. I really appreciated that part of my visit. However, the experience with Peter, who did my acrylic full set, was disappointing and uncomfortable. As soon as he sat down, he made a comment about my hair, asking if I "didn't feel like doing it today." For context, my hair was styled in a natural curly, half-up, half-down look. When I let him know that curly doesn't mean undone, he doubled down and suggested I try straightening it. The comment was rude and unnecessary, but I chose not to make a scene and let him continue. The nail service itself was not much better. I asked for an almond-shaped French tip set. He cut me with the drill, and when I pointed out that one nail was crooked, I had to push for him to fix it. While painting, the white polish ended up all over my fingers and even on my wrist--and he made no attempt to clean it until I asked. The finished nails are lumpy with uneven shapes, and the French tips have no crispness or precision. Overall, they look rushed and messy. When I mentioned my dissatisfaction at the front desk, I said I was happy with my toes but not with the nail service. The response? Silence. No apology, no concern, just complete indifference. At this point, I think it's time to find a new salon. I don't expect perfection every time, but I do expect professionalism, respect, and basic attention to detail.

As a woman of color, I've noticed a pattern where I'm not treated with the same courtesy as other customers. For example, on several visits, I've seen non-colored customers immediately offered water when they walk in, while I have to ask -- and sometimes wait a long time -- to receive the same courtesy. Today, I brought my daughter in for a pedicure, and again, no one offered her a drink until I asked. The owner told me "give me a few minutes," but then new customers of another race walked in and were immediately offered refreshments. When I eventually asked again, I was able to get water myself and gave it to my daughter. The owner then came up to check what I had taken, which left me feeling uncomfortable and singled out. This kind of treatment has happened to me more than once, and it's disappointing. I truly wish the salon would treat all customers with the same level of respect and hospitality.

He is extremely nice, helpful, and always does an amazing job. My gel manicures always last 3-4 weeks which is an incredible testament to his skill and ability. Everyone at Drip is very nice and the environment is relaxed and fun every time I am there. It's disappointing to see some negative reviews (even for my favorite technician, AB) because the whole team and AB are all fantastic! Clearly anyone who has left a poor review for them went in having a bad attitude and some people you can never please. You won't be disappointed in your visit to DRIP Nail Salon and I am sure it will become your favorite nail salon!

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and felt completely disregarded as a customer…read more I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment only to be told that my nail technician had called in sick and that the salon had attempted to notify me at 9:15 a.m. By that time, I was already on the road and nearly at the salon. While I understand that emergencies happen, giving a customer only 15 minutes' notice for a cancellation is extremely frustrating and shows very little respect for the client's time. I asked whether another technician could perform the manicure, and a technician named Ab took over. During the appointment, he casually told me that he had been out with my original nail technician the night before and that they had gone bar-hopping together. Hearing that was upsetting because I had been told she was too sick to come to work. Whether or not that was the reason for her absence, it immediately made me question the explanation I had been given. After he applied the builder gel and polish, I noticed that several nails looked noticeably uneven. One side of multiple nails appeared much thicker and higher than the other, creating a ballooned, lopsided appearance. In addition, large portions of the sides of my nails were left without polish, leaving my natural nail visible. When I politely pointed out these concerns, I expected a professional discussion or an attempt to correct the issues. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and blame. I was told that I was wasting his time and that the problem was caused by my natural nail shape. While I understand that no one's nails are perfectly symmetrical, that does not explain why multiple nails had obvious product buildup on one side and incomplete polish coverage on the other. The technician then removed everything with a visibly poor attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he brought over the cashier and I felt as though I was being confronted for raising legitimate concerns about the quality of the work. After spending an hour in the salon, I left with no completed manicure and nails that looked worse than when I arrived. What shocked me most was that they still charged the full price of the service. I asked the cashier to contact the manager or owner and explain what had happened, but I was told that management instructed them to charge me in full despite the circumstances. I told them that this was unreasonable as they had taken off everything and left my nails looking worse (I have attached photos of how my nails looked when I left the salon). The entire experience from the last-minute cancellation, to the poor workmanship, to being blamed for pointing out obvious issues, and finally being charged full price for a manicure that was removed left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Everyone can make mistakes, but what truly matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, this salon demonstrated poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and very little regard for its customers' time or concerns. Update: the owner called me and told me she is reporting me to the authorities. This is the worst gaslighting I have ever experienced. She was extremely defensive and did not apologize once. She told me that a service was provided and that I needed to pay. I explained that they messed up my nails then removed everything and left my nails in worse condition. I cannot believe this is even happening. Please do not go here.

Everything at this salon has an add charge that was not explained or noted prior to the service. So it is what it is.. is the attitude. The techs were mostly fine-- though both girls needed their finger fixed multiple times. The designs were not done correctly, it was a whole thing. There wasn't much that could physically be done to make it right because it was closing and the techs left. But the guys at the front desk were less than helpful and basically tried to convince me the cost of the supplies is what warranted the +$15 +$20 +$10. A $5 discount for an outing that was suppose to be memorable for two little girls was ruined when they couldn't execute the SIMPLE vision and then the solution was "it is what it is". If you come here on the regular, I applaud you for navigating the system. As a new comer we are definitely a once and never again.

Vivie was my nail tech--if I lived in Houston she would definitely become my go to for service. Vivie is very meticulous and attentive to detail. She was open to the different nail art designs I was debating and let me test a color before settling on my final look. Quality 5/5 The quality is impeccable. I appreciate that the salon operates on appointments only. This creates an atmosphere for the tech and customer to have ample time for the service. Vibe 5/5 The salon is contemporary and clean. The woman at the front desk is welcoming and everyone was kind that I interfaced with. The waiting area is cozy as well. Vivie was an absolute joy to work with and I enjoyed her personality--we had some good laughs! I highly recommend her. Thank you Vivie and Adore Nail Salon. p.s. Very clean and spacious located in heights area. It is extremely important to book correctly, if you want a detailed design you have to book "Nail design" and if you have nail removal you also have to include that when booking. To account for the time you need. If you book incorrectly, the nail tech wouldn't know until next client arrives and then they rush or switch you to another nail tech to finish. Although they are still very kind about it, it is clear you have to book correctly. I came for birthday nails in late April and expected it to be pricey but didn't realize nail asking for a 3-D nail design increase price significantly. Normal French tip charge at Adore is $20, so anything additional like polka dots or another color is added on the $20. Total nail design was $60, gel x short is $70, nail removal $10 = total of $140 for nails alone. Although I realize you are paying for art, for their time, dedication, expertise and their patience to design the nail how you want. It is pricey in my opinion. I would go back but only for solid color or French tip only.
