This nail salon is very detailed, they do pay attention to the design you want and they try to recreate that. Very friendly customer service. Very clean and spacious located in heights area. It is extremely important to book correctly, if you want a detailed design you have to book "Nail design" and if you have nail removal you also have to include that when booking. To account for the time you need. If you book incorrectly, the nail tech wouldn't know until next client arrives and then they rush or switch you to another nail tech to finish. Although they are still very kind about it, it is clear you have to book correctly. I came for birthday nails in late April and expected it to be pricey but didn't realize nail asking for a 3-D nail design increase price significantly. Normal French tip charge at Adore is $20, so anything additional like polka dots or another color is added on the $20. Total nail design was $60, gel x short is $70, nail removal $10 = total of $140 for nails alone. Although I realize you are paying for art, for their time, dedication, expertise and their patience to design the nail how you want. It is pricey in my opinion. I would go back but only for solid color or French tip only. read more

My first time ever getting my nails done with gel x. It was super easy to book. Leading up to, they ask to send pictures of inspo but the nail tech i had ended up asking me all over again what I wanted so I showed her the same pictures and added somethings. She did accommodate things I asked and gave me ideas. The end result was magical and turned out so much better! Im excited to get to do my nails again especially for special occasions! My friend sent me their IG page and they were offering a special 20% off discount for their first month open, so we wanted to check it out! We don't frequent nail salons, but once you've been to one or two salons, you know there's a strong chemical smell associated with it BUT that wasn't the case here at Adore!! It smelled so nice and pleasant inside, making us feel very comfortable and relaxed. I was told by the nail tech the place doesn't have a toxic smell because they don't offer the acrylic service, which gives many salons the noxious odor, so that's just one reason why I'd pick this salon over others. Another is the boutique feel of the studio that makes you feel pampered and not like you're just one of 50 customers there. The techs are very respectful and don't engage in side conversations with each other while they're working on customers, which I appreciated. As someone who doesn't get their nails done very often, I was confused with the services, but the techs did a good job at explaining all the options, and I showed Rachel the owner an inspiration photo and she gladly gave me a price estimate before Courtney the tech started working on my nails. I ended up getting short gel-x almond nails with a deep french design with lemons and the express pedicure, and I was out of the salon in less than 1.5 hours. I recently went to Adore Nail Studio with my friend because we wanted to take advantage of their grand opening promotion. Neither of us get our nails done regularly so we were not sure which service to choose. The nail techs helped us to decide on hard gel for me and Gel-X for my friend after we let them know about our nail preferences. I showed my nail tech Vy an inspo pic of aura nails and she gave me exactly that! She took her time cleaning my cuticles to get them ready for the polish. I also did not once feel rushed to make any decisions like I often do at other nail salons. Adore is really clean and cute. It has about 10 pedicure chairs and maybe 6 manicure stations. There are several color options and various types of polish to choose from. They specialize in Gel-X and BIAB (builder in a bottle) and can do just about any design that you show them. They have an updated price list on their website if you want to get an estimate of what your service might cost before you book with them. The owner Rachel can also give you a price estimate once you show her the design and type of manicure that you're looking to get. The salon is located in the same plaza as 24 hr fitness in the Heights on W 18th St and is tucked away in the corner of the plaza. Parking here is easy unlike most parking in the Heights which I appreciated. We will definitely be returning to Adore Nail Studio next time we are in the area and looking to get cute nails! read more

I came here to get my nails redone in a different design for an upcoming wedding. I sent them a photo of my outfit and gave them some base ideas of what kind of nails I would like and they created this set for me! They also took off my previous design and shorten my nails to my liking. I was a few minutes late but they were super understanding and were able to accommodate me. The salon is super clean. I like the fact that they pull out a new set of tools to indicate that they were sterile. The whole process took about 90 minutes. Yet I did not feel rushed and Rachel was super detailed. My set does cost a lot but we were using builder gel/ X with Crome, cats eye, gems, and 3D art. I'm a huge fidgeter and the 3D art seems to have unexpectedly calm me down a lot. I also trust them to charge me fairly. If you want to try them out, I would highly suggest to make an appointment with them and have a few photos of nail designs you have in mind. The place looks nice and appears clean but it wasn't a good experience for me. Explained precisely what service I wanted when I booked the appointment for mani-pedi with buff shine, no polish. Arrived and told I'd booked manicure, which I corrected. Nail techs said buffing was bad for my nails but I told her I've been doing it for years without problem. Then a small power tool was brought out to use, what looked like a little sander, what's probably used for prepping natural nails for acrylic nails, which yes, would be bad for nails! Asked if they had a manual nail buffer and it was then the energy changed with them. The tech brought out a small buffer, which is the only way my nails have been buffed at any place. Apparently, they do not like doing this service and should've told me on the phone when I booked. Then as the one working on my nails was pulling my arm to bring by hand closer, I explained I had a hurt back and couldn't sit in twist position for long but she seemed to not understand me (language barrier), just seemed frustrated as she pulled on my hand. Normally, I get a manicure done with manicurist sitting opposite of me, no sitting twisted as two people working on me at same time which felt really stressful by this point. I was so uncomfortable and stressed, Near the end there was something heavy in the air like chemical or particles that started burning my nose and throat. There was no one else near us and tech had a dust mask on so wouldn't have noticed or understood me. My throat is still burning and it's been over 24 hours. Also noticed some ill shaping of my nails which I had to fix myself with nail file---not just uneven across top of nails but poor shaping. I tipped 20% anyway on top of the $70 total but not feeling good about this service at all. Wasn't asked at checkout if everything was ok and felt it wouldn't have mattered for me to explain all this so I just won't return and feel sure they don't care. read more

Man this place would be so great, but they do not care about the customer.. unfortunately. They play the worst un-relaxing dj music. After a long day you come to the nail salon to relax, not sit in a club. I had about 10 mins left of my pedicure and I finally built up the courage to ask to change the music. My nail technician Helen was super sweet and said no problem and let me pick a station. I chose relaxing spa music (wow, shocker) not even 3 mins went by and Kelly (the technician next to us )stood up and said "I can't take this I'm going to fall asleep!!" and proceeded to change it back the same music. I understand working all day long with spa music might be hard, but they had 5 mins until closing, if that and maybe you shouldn't get a job at a spa. After this experience, I will no longer be coming here. There are 1 million other nail salons that care about the customers and are so sweet!! People come here because it is trendy inside, and they have cool/new colors to choose from and they have some girls that are good at design, but a business won't last if they don't know how to take care of your customers wants and needs. I spoke with the manager on duty because he said Rachel the owner was away, but I'm not sure he understood the situation. I broke up with my go to salon and have been trying new places on and off for about a year. Today I tried this place. Finally a nail salon that i explained my concerns/reasons (just as i had with others) and I was suggested a plan for what my nails needed to get healthier and maintain length. Then after removing my existing dip, the nail artist advised me of a revised plan based on seeing my nail condition. Never have I had a plan recommended to me for my nails. And it seems silly that after decades of consistently getting nail enhancements, that none provided any solutions when I mentioned my thin, breaking nails. They others salons just redid my dip with inconsistent quality & length of appt, overcharged, under delivered. Im a skeptic but based on this first experience here at Adore it's 10/10. Random detail but i loved that they didnt use cloth cheap or cheesy pillows, they are leather, thus can be easily cleaned between customers. But even better, was that it was not used to prop my hands up during my (always needed) mani/pedi at same time service. Instead it was replaced with a cool leather tufted shelf that rested on the chair arms instead of my lap. Modern, stylish interior design, music, nice restroom. No hobby lobby knick-knacks or supply clutter. GelX by Vy Tier 2 pedi by Phoebe who had a firm foot/calf massage. *My only pedicure suggestion --for any nail salon bc i've never been asked & always wished somewhere did--would be for the tech to ask if the customer would rather the included massage concentrate on feet, calves or both AND what pressure is preferred.* read more
