My daughter for her birthday wanted to do a "spa day" and we are glad to have found this place. The service was fast, friendly, and top notch! We had a party of 6 so definitely had to make an appointment which they were ready to receive upon our arrival. They have great drinks from coffee to mimosas to make the experience more enjoyable! The place is very clean, comfortable, and the music is on point with an acoustic coffeehouse playlist. Great experience overall and will be back. Enjoy!

As a business owner myself, I like to give places second and third chances before leaving a bad review. However, after such a negative experience with this place I felt compelled to warn other people before they waste time and money. I decided to give this place a try because it's close to my house and next to the UPS I use. It was a nightmare! I had Trina and the first bad sign was the way she removed the old dip powder. She dipped my hands in such hot acetone, she burned my hands. She didn't even warned me that it was hot!! First time this ever happens in 30 years doing my nails!! My nails usually last for 3-4 weeks without a problem. Here, I had two cracked nails two days after (see photos). I had to take time off my Saturday to go fix that. Then, six days after that, right during an event, I lost half of a nail (see photo)! When I went to fix them the next day (Saturday again), they said I had to pay to fix it! What about my time and inconvenience twice??!! Of course I preferred paying somebody else if I had to pay! I've been there two Saturdays in a row and the place is empty! On a Saturday!! When every other place in the area is packed!! Red flag?! On top of that, more expensive than everybody else in the area! My advice, do your homework, read other peoples reviews and save yourself the headache others like me experienced!

It's new, a plus on its own. Able to take me and a friend last minute. so many color options from regular to dips. friendly service and one of the few places that didnt make me bleed while cutting mg cuticles. i dont want to say this cause they were So nice, quick and all that but i want to be honest. i got a dip mani and white pedi to match. i honestly dont recall if she did one or two coats but i can see it needed another coat the next day cause it was not solid white. plus, i notice within a week my dip base was coming off since when i brush my fingers through my hair it got caught in my nails. overall im a bit bummed cause it looked so nice when i left. besides that maybe i give a second chance but prob do shellac.

LOVE every part of this nail salon. Located on 34th next to the Les Baget, it really has an ideal spot in the Oak Forest area. I didn't know it had opened til my brother in law told me there are always a ton of cars out front, so "something about it had to be good". Lol Walking in, it's super clean and smells wonderful thanks to a few air purifiers strategically placed. Love it. The staff is warm and accommodating. And the selection is great for a new establishment. They offer adult beverages as you get pampered and are always keen to your needs. PROPS to Tammy who did my pedi!!! I told her my big toe was very sensitive, and she was able to figure out why. Won't go into details, but God bless her! Now my feet look and feel great! Nancy did a great job on my shellac mani, as well. Overall, I walked out super happy!! :) I'll be coming back to Brush Box very soon!

First time here, place was very clean and modern. Had a great vibe. Music is chill, but not classical. If it were a Spotify channel it would be, chill coffee house covers. I had a good experience my only dislike was I opted for one of the most expensive pedicure (marathon) and it didn't seem all that different than a regular. The lady next next to me started at the same time I did, and I was done before her. Just seemed like I was paying extra for a different flavor of sugar scrub. I run A LOT so was looking forward to the "special attention" on the massage and it wasn't different than any other massage. It wasn't more "muscle focused" or even longer than normal. I just re-read the description and I didn't get a lemon mask either ... hmm. I'm fine with paying extra for pedicures Bc it's what my tired feet and legs live for, but only if I get what I'm paying for. In conclusion, it wasn't bad by any means, but not great either. At this cost vs service it will not steal me away from my current spot.

Hi did y'all's number change? I cannot get through and am now receiving a Verizon automated voicemail.

Can you bring your own wine?

Yes you can. Well provide the glass and ice bucket!

Do they take walk-ins or do you need to make an appointment?

They take both walk-ins and appts. With any nail salon, I always suggest making an appt if you dont want to wait any amount of time.

    Do they offer shoulder/neck massage?

Yes, and it was wonderful! If you get the oakforest pedi package it comes with it!!

The wait was minimal, 10 mins for a technician to become available. Good selection of nail polishes, mainly DND, lacking in OPI availability. The technician blamed the issue on me for "scratching my nose" instead of keeping my hand under the light, which was both rude and inaccurate, as the problem occurred on both hands--not just the one I briefly moved. Even after the redo, the polish did not cure properly. Less than 48 hours later, the nails are still malleable and the top layer of polish is already flaking off. Although I could return to request a redo, their website notes that refunds are not offered--only corrections within a limited timeframe. Given the experience, I do not feel comfortable returning or spending additional time on a service that should have been done correctly the first time.

Vivie was my nail tech--if I lived in Houston she would definitely become my go to for service. Vivie is very meticulous and attentive to detail. Very clean and spacious located in heights area. It is extremely important to book correctly, if you want a detailed design you have to book "Nail design" and if you have nail removal you also have to include that when booking. To account for the time you need. If you book incorrectly, the nail tech wouldn't know until next client arrives and then they rush or switch you to another nail tech to finish. Although they are still very kind about it, it is clear you have to book correctly. I came for birthday nails in late April and expected it to be pricey but didn't realize nail asking for a 3-D nail design increase price significantly. Normal French tip charge at Adore is $20, so anything additional like polka dots or another color is added on the $20. Total nail design was $60, gel x short is $70, nail removal $10 = total of $140 for nails alone. Although I realize you are paying for art, for their time, dedication, expertise and their patience to design the nail how you want. It is pricey in my opinion. I would go back but only for solid color or French tip only.

You won't be disappointed in your visit to DRIP Nail Salon and I am sure it will become your favorite nail salon!

I had a very disappointing experience at this salon and felt completely disregarded as a customer…read more I arrived for my 9:30 a.m. appointment only to be told that my nail technician had called in sick and that the salon had attempted to notify me at 9:15 a.m. By that time, I was already on the road and nearly at the salon. While I understand that emergencies happen, giving a customer only 15 minutes' notice for a cancellation is extremely frustrating and shows very little respect for the client's time. I asked whether another technician could perform the manicure, and a technician named Ab took over. During the appointment, he casually told me that he had been out with my original nail technician the night before and that they had gone bar-hopping together. Hearing that was upsetting because I had been told she was too sick to come to work. Whether or not that was the reason for her absence, it immediately made me question the explanation I had been given. After he applied the builder gel and polish, I noticed that several nails looked noticeably uneven. One side of multiple nails appeared much thicker and higher than the other, creating a ballooned, lopsided appearance. In addition, large portions of the sides of my nails were left without polish, leaving my natural nail visible. When I politely pointed out these concerns, I expected a professional discussion or an attempt to correct the issues. Instead, I was met with defensiveness and blame. I was told that I was wasting his time and that the problem was caused by my natural nail shape. While I understand that no one's nails are perfectly symmetrical, that does not explain why multiple nails had obvious product buildup on one side and incomplete polish coverage on the other. The technician then removed everything with a visibly poor attitude. Rather than trying to resolve the situation, he brought over the cashier and I felt as though I was being confronted for raising legitimate concerns about the quality of the work. After spending an hour in the salon, I left with no completed manicure and nails that looked worse than when I arrived. What shocked me most was that they still charged the full price of the service. I asked the cashier to contact the manager or owner and explain what had happened, but I was told that management instructed them to charge me in full despite the circumstances. I told them that this was unreasonable as they had taken off everything and left my nails looking worse (I have attached photos of how my nails looked when I left the salon). The entire experience from the last-minute cancellation, to the poor workmanship, to being blamed for pointing out obvious issues, and finally being charged full price for a manicure that was removed left me feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. Everyone can make mistakes, but what truly matters is how a business handles them. Unfortunately, this salon demonstrated poor customer service, a lack of professionalism, and very little regard for its customers' time or concerns. Update: the owner called me and told me she is reporting me to the authorities. This is the worst gaslighting I have ever experienced. She was extremely defensive and did not apologize once. She told me that a service was provided and that I needed to pay. I explained that they messed up my nails then removed everything and left my nails in worse condition. I cannot believe this is even happening. Please do not go here.
