From the moment I walked in and spoke to the receptionist I should've stopped there. I initially asked for gel-x nails, and I was told that they did not offer them so I was offered a builder gel or something else that I cannot remember the name of. I was offered maybe 5-9 colors for the service and every single one of the shades were transparent. The nail tech, while she was nice kept asking the other nail tech who was next to me for help (I couldn't understand what they were saying but she kept signaling to nail supplies or my fingers so that's me assuming). She ended up adding shellac onto my nail bc like I said, not many options so she had to improvise.... And I ended up getting charged for 2 services at $80. My friends paid maybe $40-50 for either powder or shellac... anyways, I went on Saturday, September 20th and the picture is from 9/24. Today is 9/29 and most of the nails have started peeling. I work a desk job. This should not have happened. 0/10. I will say I was not vocal with my concerns the day of. And again, the nail tech was nice but the service was terrible. read more

My daughter for her birthday wanted to do a "spa day" and we are glad to have found this place. The service was fast, friendly, and top notch! We had a party of 6 so definitely had to make an appointment which they were ready to receive upon our arrival. They have great drinks from coffee to mimosas to make the experience more enjoyable! I don't typically leave reviews but told my husband that I would if this salon pushed my appointment back one more time after already doing so twice! I made an appointment for 12:30. At 12:06 I received a call that the receptionist didn't properly account for the technician's time and asked that I wait until 1:00 pm to come in. No problem but at 12:48 I receive another call. They are short staffed and moved my appointment to 1:30. At this point I was annoyed but agreed. At 1:20 I start heading out to the salon and my phone rings at 1:23 pm. Now they want to push the appointment out to 2:30. Naturally I am beyond frustrated at this point and just cancelled my appointment. Lesson for all you busy folks out there: this place does not honor appointments nor your time. Lesson for salon: if you were short staffed or fully booked for the day, you should have just said so from the very beginning rather than wasting my time! read more

As a business owner myself, I like to give places second and third chances before leaving a bad review. However, after such a negative experience with this place I felt compelled to warn other people before they waste time and money. I decided to give this place a try because it's close to my house and next to the UPS I use. It was a nightmare! I had Trina and the first bad sign was the way she removed the old dip powder. She dipped my hands in such hot acetone, she burned my hands. She didn't even warned me that it was hot!! First time this ever happens in 30 years doing my nails!! My nails usually last for 3-4 weeks without a problem. Here, I had two cracked nails two days after (see photos). I had to take time off my Saturday to go fix that. Then, six days after that, right during an event, I lost half of a nail (see photo)! When I went to fix them the next day (Saturday again), they said I had to pay to fix it! What about my time and inconvenience twice??!! Of course I preferred paying somebody else if I had to pay! I've been there two Saturdays in a row and the place is empty! On a Saturday!! When every other place in the area is packed!! Red flag?! On top of that, more expensive than everybody else in the area! My advice, do your homework, read other peoples reviews and save yourself the headache others like me experienced! read more

One of the few nail salons that I've actually been to more than once. Maya and Coco are the only two people that I think will ever do my nails again! Cleanliness 5/5, Quality 5/5, Skill 5/5 - I can't say enough good things about this place. Like literally, I schedule my appointments now so that I can snag time with my favorite ladies instead of just walking in and going with whomever is free. Maya is a true nail artist and is able to take a photo that I find online and make it a reality! It's actually given me more confidence in trying new styles and ideas (only color I'll ever wear is blue lol). It's also fantastic that she shares my love of the color BLUE! And Coco, she is amazing and actually makes me look forward to my pedicures. She somehow is able to do my cuticles without ever nicking me or causing me any pain. And her massages are fantastic too. Highly do NOT recommend!! Quality was horrible. If I could choose 0 stars I would. I sent my mom a week ago to get a gel manicure as it's where I use to go for pedicures. They made her bleed on two fingers. She asked for her length on one hand to match the other and they ended up cutting them too short, cutting her finger, and they were still uneven so her nails on her right hand are shorter than her nails on the left. She made it to check out and one of the fingers they cut was bleeding profusely. She showed the check out girl what happened and she just said it was too bad and she couldn't do anything about it. She winced at the sight of her bleeding fingers but still had the audacity to ask if she wanted to leave a tip. The actual gel polish was blotchy and uneven as well. Manicure did not last a week without chipping and her nails were filed too low when removing previous gel polish that go that one of her nails has split halfway down the nail. This is a terrible place and I will not be returning. I had other incidents myself but didn't make much of it. I asked nail technician not to cut my nails and she ended up cutting them anyways. When I asked her why she did that she said she just did the corners bc they are "ingrown nails" so she cut them without asking. I don't have ingrown nails. They don't understand or listen. Another time I told them I didn't want go wear them plastic slippers but made me anyways and messed up my polish so I was stuck there for another 15 minutes. O Be careful going here or don't go at all. read more

It's new, a plus on its own. Able to take me and a friend last minute. so many color options from regular to dips. friendly service and one of the few places that didnt make me bleed while cutting mg cuticles. i dont want to say this cause they were So nice, quick and all that but i want to be honest. i got a dip mani and white pedi to match. i honestly dont recall if she did one or two coats but i can see it needed another coat the next day cause it was not solid white. plus, i notice within a week my dip base was coming off since when i brush my fingers through my hair it got caught in my nails. overall im a bit bummed cause it looked so nice when i left. besides that maybe i give a second chance but prob do shellac. read more

LOVE every part of this nail salon. Located on 34th next to the Les Baget, it really has an ideal spot in the Oak Forest area. I didn't know it had opened til my brother in law told me there are always a ton of cars out front, so "something about it had to be good". Lol Walking in, it's super clean and smells wonderful thanks to a few air purifiers strategically placed. Love it. The staff is warm and accommodating. And the selection is great for a new establishment. They offer adult beverages as you get pampered and are always keen to your needs. PROPS to Tammy who did my pedi!!! I told her my big toe was very sensitive, and she was able to figure out why. Won't go into details, but God bless her! Now my feet look and feel great! First time here, place was very clean and modern. Had a great vibe. Music is chill, but not classical. If it were a Spotify channel it would be, chill coffee house covers. I had a good experience my only dislike was I opted for one of the most expensive pedicure (marathon) and it didn't seem all that different than a regular. The lady next next to me started at the same time I did, and I was done before her. Just seemed like I was paying extra for a different flavor of sugar scrub. I run A LOT so was looking forward to the "special attention" on the massage and it wasn't different than any other massage. It wasn't more "muscle focused" or even longer than normal. I just re-read the description and I didn't get a lemon mask either ... hmm. I came here after receiving a gift card from a friend. I called and made an appointment and the gentleman was very nice in the phone. He set me up for an afternoon appointment that day. When I arrived, I waited about 5 minutes... nothing long at all and immediately was serviced once sitting down. I got the pedicure with the neck massage and a manicure and explained I needed to be done within an hour so I can get back home before our nanny leaves. My partner and I both got the Ultimate brush box pedicures. Out pedicures we're done by Thien-An and Trina. The amount of detail they put into our pedicures was amazing. The ambiance the complimentary champagne and the massage chairs made the experience even better. My partner added on a manicure (sandy was the manicurist) and let just say those hands look brand spanking new. I was a little skeptical about getting my eyebrows done but I didn't have time to go anywhere else so I let Phoenix do them and they look amazing. They look better than they've looked in years. I don't understand the 3.5 rating in this place. I just moved into the area a year ago and have tried many nail shops. This one is clean, tranquil & not rushed. I had my dip manicure (done at another nail salon) and the nail tech gently soaked them off and noticed the damage the other place did to my nails. He filed just enough to smooth the roughness without filing my nails too thin. The young lady doing my pedicure did the same. I did come in on a Monday afternoon so maybe they had a bit more time than in weekends but this is my day off. I'll update this review in the next few months but for now they are 5 star! read more

Yeahhhhh read the reviews first before you go. I read the reviews but looked right passed it I was like well let me give it a try maybe the worker had a bad day or whatever the case may be but that wasn't the case. Lord I came to the salon ONLY because I didn't want to do my own nails today I usually just do my own acrylic because I know how I like it and how I want my nails to look but I just didn't feel like doing it today well I get there and Tien the so call "nail technician" clearly didn't know what the heck she was doing but acted like she knew what she was doing. Horrible, she gave me some C curved nail tip that looked horrible and very much cheap and for it to be luxurious it wasn't giving baby. After she placed almost all the nail tips I still wasn't satisfied with the preparation so I asked the lady that was doing my pedicure if she can give a straight nail tip instead of a C curve nail and on top of all of that the placement of the nail tip wasn't in the right place literally right at the edge of my natural nails which will cause my nails break in a few days if I don't take care of them so she had to take everything down and put a new set before we can even move on forward with the acrylic. After the second time trying to even get the preparation done she still didn't do it right she place the nail tip crooked and didn't even stop to take it off she was just kept going on with the next nail I had to tell her to stop because I wasn't having it I asked the lady doing my pedicure to please let someone else do it. Everyone seem calm and cool after that I was finally asked if I wanted something to drink at that point yes i needed a drink she brought over a mimosa and waited about maybe 10-15 mins for the receptionist to come tell me that there was no employees available to do the work. I wasn't mad or anything I'm just glad I know about nail preparation and how to do acrylic nails and and she wasn't going to get away with it. Happy I didn't over spend lol saved $100 but I did ended up spending $72 on my pedicure and lip wax and also had two mimosas very much needed. But the service in that building wasn't good at all sometimes good looking buildings have shitty employees oh well. Oh yeah and they gave me a sorry card with no discount wtf type of shit is that smh yeah I most definitely won't be back and oh yeah that coffee shop that's next to the a must go to place! Like many others I wanted to like this place. I went on the recommendation of a friend for a girls day. It's definitely very nice and more high end inside but aside from the ambiance I have to say I wish I didn't waste $80 on a subpar mani/pedi. After an afternoon dip mani I noticed that same night 3 of my nails had cracks in them. I debated taking it as a loss but ended up calling a few days later when I saw 2 more nails similarly cracked. They told me I could come back in to fix them so I did (I love dip cause I can get it done once every 3-4 weeks and it stays looking nice even though it grows out around the cuticle - it's hard for me to make it to the salon more often with a 2 year old at home). They said maybe it was done too thin so they redid all 5 nails and I was mostly happy. Then the next day 2 of them chipped again!! I never have these issues with my normal spot, Pure Lux next to Kroger on Shepherd. This review would have been a 2-star based on the results of my first visit but I have to give them credit for allowing me to come in free of charge to "repair" the issue. The manager was very nice as were the nail techs. I don't think I'll be back because I don't want to risk the same issues again when I already have a great reliable place. read more

Great new(ish) salon in Oak Forest! The establishment is huge, clean and beautiful so you will likely never wait long considering just how many mani and pedi stations they have. Everything is brand new and sparkling clean. Love the way they display the colors in cute little books that look like menus (MUCH easier to navigate than the typical plastic nails on plastic sticks on a huge key ring with hundreds per ring, etc etc you know what I'm talking about). There is a full bar with alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, water, etc, all complimentary. Finally, they just did a great job on my gel nails and were very friendly. The best part - the salon was seemingly the same prices as every other nail salon, so they are not charging a premium for being all around better. This is my new nail place for sure! read more

I had a shellac manicure last Wednesday and the nail tech cut too much. You advertise as a luxury salon and this should not happen. My nails were in better shape before this service was performed. This is disappointing. The pictures show my nails, now 4 days later, with so many hangnails. Recovery will be long and painful. It was alright. The inside is really nice. I like the children play area concept. I didn't have a child with me so I didn't utilize that area. As I got my pedi I thought what if someone utilize the play area while getting their pedicure, they won't be able to see their child because it's on the other side of the room. Not sure if they have someone to supervise the children. They have a nice bar area. Customer service was good. The young lady that did my manicure didn't say not one word the entire time. I got a color that they call a premium color which is $4 more. They charged me $8 since I got a mani and pedi. The chairs are not really comfortable in the seat area.
