We got some takeout sushi. We got some spicy tuna rolls, crab roll, shrimp tempura and California rolls. They were all good. No complaints.

Honestly, I really wanted to like this! It's a fusion restaurant (Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese) so the menu is oversized - roughly 10 pages - and that was my first cue that this might disappoint. I was not wrong... The parking lot was empty, and the exterior needed some lawn care, but we went in and the inside, though dimly lit, had its charm. Once we were seated I asked for a Taro Bubble Tea, which was the highlight of the meal. After the drinks came, I ordered a Unagi Nigiri (Eel) and it was surprisingly good. Beyond that, we each ordered our unique dishes (We ordered a Vietnamese dish with coconut milk, rice noodles, and vegetables and asked to have tofu added). We also ordered vegetarian egg rolls (which were just cabbage and 2 pieces of carrot). Both of us found the dish incredibly bland. So bland, in fact, that we started talking about how this place was obviously committing a few culinary sins: 1. Oversized Menu 2. Nothing local was displayed (it's a lot of seafood... in Rhode Island... seems logical to get local and save money WHILE appealing to locals) 3. Over diverse menu lead to everything being a bit overpriced considering serving sizes TL/DR - In Short: Too many choices, low quality, and bland food. You only get one chance at first impressions, and this place bl

The best Chinese food in Rhode Island! The food is so so fresh and flavored so well. It doesn't feel sticky and heavy like some Chinese food can-- its honestly one of my all time favorites! Try it out for sure!

Kung Pao chicken was OK, but the home style tofu was pretty greasy. It was ready when promised.

Once inside turn right into the bar area, then turn left to the hostess stand at the back. We were seated in a large booth that looks newly upholstered. Everything in the dining room looks to be in good condition. The menu is large and include both 'lunch combination plates' which are smaller portions and 'combination plates' which include more food. You can also order family style or al la carte. The waitress came over with waters, duck sauce and fried wonton to munch on while you look over the menu. That sauce on those wonton are a tasty, sweet snack. She took our drink order and answered a couple of questions about the menu. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. My husband tells me this hot and sour soup is his favorite. I don't eat that, so I can't expand. My combination meal includes a soup and I ordered the egg drop soup because it is a vegetable broth. It tastes like. . . egg. I guess that's right? I've never had it before. The spring roll with my combination meal was crispy and filled with veg. The mixed veg meal was loaded with pea pods, water chestnut, mushroom, carrot and cabbage. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. Although combo meals normally come with pork fried rice, they do allow substitutions and I got the vegetable fried rice instead which was very nice. The ladies room, is off the dining room, before the kitchen. Step down into an area with a counter and mirror. I don't remember a diaper station. The toilet and sink are in a room off this area. The door is misaligned and you have to pull the door UP in order to engage the door knob locking mechanism. Otherwise anyone can just walk in on you. I have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants and this one is good. It's been around for a long while and my SO loves it. I cannot recommend it for Christmas Eve as they limit the selections (in order to handle the volume, I understand, but I can't get what I need) but for lunch, dinner or take away, it's a fine choice.

I dined here on Christmas Day at the invitation of a relative who has eaten here a few times and swears by the clay pot dishes. The restaurant was very busy, busier than usual, I was told. We were seated quickly, which felt promising. That momentum did not continue. After we said we weren't quite ready to order since we had just sat down and a couple of us were new to the spot, we asked the server to return. She did, about 10 minutes later. From there, it became a series of waits. The appetizer arrived first, then one main dish was served, leaving the other two diners waiting another 12 minutes. Plenty of time to admire someone else's food. There were a few service hiccups. One water glass had a visible crack and took some persistent hand waving to replace. The soy sauce container was empty, and after more waving, I eventually stood up and borrowed one from a nearby empty table. Light cardio included. The dishes are pricier than average, which I'm generally fine with. The restaurant is clean, newer, and located on the outskirts of East Greenwich, which may explain the pricing. What disappointed me was my $26 eel hot pot (aka Unagi Kobayaki). While it tasted good, it consisted of four slivers of eel, yes, four, which we confirmed, a few avocado slices, and a lot of rice. For that price, it felt ambitious. I could have enjoyed a very nice sushi meal elsewhere for less. Ordering clay hot pots is not new to me. To be fair, one of my companions ordered the Boneless spare ribs hot pot and enjoyed it. That dish had noticeably more protein and felt far more balanced. In short, the food flavors are good, but the service struggled, perhaps due to the holiday rush. I may try this place again on a less busy day, but with several other options nearby, I do not yet see a strong competitive advantage.

Very disappointed in the experience but the decor was really nice and I've been wanting to try this place out since my friends had a galentines day event here after our spa day but I had to go home so I didn't make it to the restaurant until today. Food was okay, the calamari taste like fish sticks and my husband and kids like fish sticks but I don't so I didn't eat that. My philly roll was okay but my husband and kids all loved their rolls so it's always nice when your kids are satisfied with the food. I'm on the fence as to whether or not I'd give this place another chance because it is 5 minutes away from my house but the service and overall experience was mid. The orange chicken was good nothing special so I was happy about that. I will add that the lychee sangria was probably my favorite part of this whole meal so if you want good drinks, this is your place! If you try this place out, I hope that you have a better experience than we did. It's probably the worst experience we've had in town.

We ordered a California roll, the Tuna Thunder roll, Shanghai dumplings, orange chicken with pork fried rice, egg drop soup, and pepper steak with onions with white rice. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked really well. The portions were huge for the price, which was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant itself has a great vibe -- very clean, neatly decorated, and the little waterfall feature added such a calming touch. It made the whole meal feel extra relaxing. The only downside was the orange chicken -- it had actual orange peels in it, and they were burnt, which threw the flavor off. Everything else was fantastic though, and absolutely worth ordering again. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially since we had our 13-week-old daughter with us.
