Service was very friendly - the woman behind the counter could not have been friendlier to us. She answered all of our questions and was patient as we made our choices.

Last weekend my daughter and I went walking through parts Maine and on our way back I told her that we needed to stop at this little shop once more. My daughter bought a sweatshirt and I got another blueberry/lemon bread as well as a pear bread and lemon-pepper chicken. That chicken is by far the best I have ever had! The service at the counter was very disorganized and disappointing. To avoid situations like this in the future, I would recommend asking customers for their receipts, as the receipt clearly shows the time stamp of the order. What made the experience even more disappointing was that the staff refused to cancel the order or provide a refund, despite the fact that the order had not been prepared in a timely manner. Overall, the issue was not simply the delay--it was the lack of accountability, communication, and customer service in handling the situation.

While we did enjoy the drinks the mention of them having goats was a huge reason for coming by. Besides goats, they also have some chickens. Both areas have some picnic tables to enjoy your food and drinks. They had roughly 5 or 6 goats and we got all of them to come over for some love and scratches. Goats are one of my favorite animals since I've worked with them for so many years and loved meeting some new ones. One had a feisty attitude but even she came around and enjoyed scratches on her withers(back). A coffee shop worth stopping at for friendly service with a smile, tasty coffee and cute goats!
