Every town needs a store like this! From the meatball sub to the chicken Caesar wrap and the green apple gelato or the mango smoothie, everything was well prepared and tasted so fresh. The clerk taking orders was very particular with each item in the order to ensure we were able to get exactly what we ordered. He even confirmed for me that the lettuce was Romaine and not iceberg lettuce, as I am not a fan. The smoothie had such great mango flavors and the green apple tastes of gelato were like a green apple flavored Jolly Rancher. The store was busy but efficient, with an ordering side and a food preparation side. Tables and chairs filled the remaining space among the displays of drinks and various salads, like the macaroni salad, which was also fresh and delicious. Well done! read more

I swear the whoopie pies here could be used as torpedoes! They're MASSIVE and could be easily shared with at least 3 people. Tasty though, and very dense! :) read more

Dolce Crema Cafe is our go to spot for an early morning drink or an evening snack. They are always welcoming and have great meals, desserts, and drinks! My favorite things are their corn chowder soup special, their italian sodas with customizable flavors, the gelato, and the pastries! read more

The best breakfast sandwiches in OOB!!! Fast service and great employees who make you feel welcome.

The subs were really good and the sandwiches and the gelato and the latte freeze, which is two shots of espresso, made with ice cream, whipped cream, and you can choose lots of different flavors. you are able to sit down there are a few tables you can people watch because you can see out the windows. read more

Dolce Crema Cafe - Gelato large size - Desserts Near Me - Old Orchard Beach, Maine

An oasis in a land of mediocre food, this place was a pleasant surprise. Solid paninis, reliable service. Wish we got to try their gelato, it looked enticing. read more

We came here after spending a few hours at Palace Playland. We were looking for a quality dinner and the pickings felt slim. This place serves literally everything, which feels a bit confusing and even alarming. They are kid friendly and have high chairs, which is great. The cons are you feel like you're sitting in a convenience store if you eat there and everything feels sort of grubby. Our food was just okay and they don't provide any real service to judge. read more

We stayed close to the cafe and found ourselves here a few times during our visit to OOB. Service was friendly and Prompt especially given how busy they are and the shortage of staff due to COVID. Everything was delicious from the coffee, to the panini breakfast sandwiches , to the chick parm and meatball subs to the BLT. The only thing we didn't try was the gelato. The food was definitely better than a few of the local restaurants. Definitely worth stopping in ! read more

We've been here twice, once for gelato (huge, fully packed servings) and once for dinner (wraps, salad & a meatball parm sandwich). Excellent food both times. My only issue was I didn't realize how spicy the peanut dressing in the Asian west wrap was going to be (I think it needs a warning). But everything was fresh, the workers are great, the prices are pretty decent, too, for a beach town. read more

The drinks were amazing but the customer service was terrible. The guy working called us assholes and told us to be quiet unpolitely and the Lady at the cash register told us oh my gosh before taking our order when we were trying to figure out what we wanted . so be prepared for the rudeness. read more

Nice panini. Good variety of offerings with reasonable prices. I would ask the owner to update hours on Yelp.

This place has a great location. It seems clean and has an extensive selection of food items. Unfortunately their gelato is not great quality. Flavors are weak and texture is poor due to not being held at the right temperature and not serving it properly. Gelato is an art and theirs just doesn't stand up. They should look into having Coppa Magica gelato brought in. read more

The best coffee and take away breakfast. There is limited seating but plenty of tables outside. My favorite coffee place in OOB. Also there is a large selection of really delicious baked goods! read more

Great place! Breakfast sandwiches were great! Smoothies and gelato are phenomenal! Staff is super sweet and friendly and even remembered my hubby's name on the 2nd visit! Love it here! read more

Amazing food, amazing service....our new favorite place! We eat here every weekend when we are at the pier. The servers make you feel like you are a long lost relative, and the food they serve makes you feel like family! This is a definite go-to stop! read more

Better late than never. Went here over the summer and loved it. They have good real food if you're looking for something NOT FRIED. Yummy salad, backed haddock and rice, loads of desserts to pick from. Small tables but perfect to sit and eat a meal inside. Nothing fancy but I really liked it and will be back. People are friendly and service is fast and the place is clean. read more

We stopped in this morning looking for a coffee and a bagel sandwich. My boyfriend's iced coffee was just meh and the bagel sandwich left a lot to be desired. The bagel had the strangest texture and there was barely any egg or bacon inside. They have a great looking menu full of sandwiches, salads and more but I don't think I'll be stopping back next year to try anything else if that's what they're serving for breakfast. read more

This place is nothing to write home about. The most tasteless eggs on toast I've ever had... ordered scrambled and got an omelette and toast which were store bought bread not homemade were full of butter. The coffee wasn't even good. Problem is that bar for Old orchard is really low, when compared with other venues this place ranks decently but frankly could have been much better... read more

Great food, great coffee, great gelato, great service! If you're at OOB and you don't want the deep fried foods that are everywhere else here, this is your spot! I've ate here 3 times the past 3 days, i love it! read more

Was looking for a good coffee, and ended up here. Very pleasant staff, and the coffee was delicious. They were packed, and I can understand why, would definitely recommend this place for your morning coffee. read more

My friend Alli and I were in a slight rush to make our train a few blocks away but we wanted ice cream so we stopped by Dolce Crema Caffe. The ice cream place we tried beforehand was cash-only (and sadly we had no cash) but DCC thankfully took credit cards. We actually got gelato, I got a medium size cup with one scoop of caramel oreo and one scoop of banana chocolate. Alli said the way the woman spread our gelato all over the sides of the cup was "very Italian" and the serving size was definitely worth the price. It was so TASTY! Try it out next time you're by the pier at Old Orchard Beach. read more

Dolce Crema Cafe - Gelato with a view of the amusement park! - Desserts Near Me - Old Orchard Beach, Maine

This is a jewel in OOB. Everything is tasty and well done for a small sandwich type place. Gelato is rich. I wish it were open all year.

We got sandwiches for the beach. They were yummy. Service was good. Definitely would go again. Next time we'll get the gelato.

Nicest people, great service. Very clean. Would definitely recommend trying it out !!!

This was my everyday stop for coffee during my week in OOB, I couldn't find any other place in the area for decent espresso drinks. Starbucks it ain't, but the espresso drinks were acceptable and it saved me from having to resort to crummy Dunkin Donuts coffee. They also serve gelato (their Rocky Road was my favorite), pastries, cakes, and pies (their Maine Mud and Grand Slam pies were rich & delicious). Avoid the fudge - you can get better at Candy Shores around the corner. read more

Seriously! This place is absolutely amazing! My Boyfriend and I went in this 4th of July weekend and ordered two panini's. I had a chicken fajita and he had an Italian. They were fantastic. We walked in after buying two marshmellow guns and were running around having the time of our lives shooting each other all over OOB. The guys who work behind the counter are awesome! They are so much fun! You just don't find that very much anymore at restaurants! I had no idea that this place existed and being a seasonal renter for 6 months out of the year at OOB..this is our definite new place to go. They have tons of Gelato and the most amazing desserts. We had one chocolate chip cookie and it was so yummy! I can't wait to go back next week! Just for the service alone they deserve more than 5 stars! read more

We tried the gelato, and it was not what good gelato should be. The stracciatella tasted like ice milk- it was neither creamy nor rich. The Chocolate walnut was better- the texture was creamier. We also had cherry which was not rich or creamy. read more

Gelato was good..free sample was great..went here because of yelp reviews..panini was just ok..lightly pressed..no special bread. We got the bbq chicken and the stuffed turkey. Good but no wow factor. Good prices. Nice to have something not fried as a food choice. read more

Good coffee, so we decided to give the food a try a few days later for a light meal. New England clam chowda - good flavor, yet had hot spots with some cold potatoes; likely microwaved. I still believe this was a homemade soup however. Turkey panini was very basic, with stove top boxed stuffing (or just a poor homemade version) and cold cut turkey. Coffee and sweets are in play for future visits here, but will skip out on the food offerings. read more

Found myself returning to this place often during our stay in OOB. The employees were exceptionally friendly. I loved the variety of products offered and the location is super convenient. Huge selection of coffee and I particularly appreciated the set up. I didn't have to wait for that person with the frappelattecino with extra extra cream and extra extra sugar to get a black coffee. Gelato was to die for. Wish I had gotten a bigger size. Scratch that I wish I could have just crawled in into the display and had my way with all the different flavors. Genuinely enjoyed this little store and hope to be back soon. read more

We had a wonderful breakfast here and also a great evening snack. Their iced coffee is so good, strong but not bitter. The breakfast sandwich was also quite good. The cannoli and gelato were all scrumptious. This is a great place to stop for a coffee or a treat. read more

We came in to get gelato + it wasn't very cold or very creamy. I finished my small, but I wouldn't want to return.

We came in the first time after seeing the smoothie signs as we drove down the main road in OOB, and came in for smoothies. When we walked in, we were pleased with the bright colored walls and interior, making it more than just a small hole-in-the wall place among the rest. We saw the huge menu, and decided to come back later for lunch. Not only were the smoothies good, but the cashiers and people working were all very friendly and helpful. When we did come back for lunch, our family of four all ordered different things, and all of them were wonderful! Definitely will be returning on this trip, and if we come back to OOB, will definitely make it a vacation stop for us. read more
