Drizzly Sunday but the Danny Boy Benedict and the traditional Bennie along with a Felix cinnamon roll made our day. Place has a great vibe, you can have a conversation or people watch. From our coffee pour to orders arriving, hot and fresh there were no missteps! Staff pleasant and professional! Totally worth your precious weekend time!

Stopped in for some breakfast to go, the burrito was delicious! Definitely would go back. It was a cozy atmosphere and would love to dine in next time.

Delicioso! We started at the pastry counter and sampled one of Victoria's savory cinnamon buns, which did not disappoint. We both had the iced coffee, which was absolutely delicious. Not sure where the beans were from but it was the best iced coffee we've ever had. Don't let the lines scare you off as there is seating inside, counter seating along the window (which we love) and seating outdoors (enjoy a passing train). The tables turn over quickly as the staff is fantastic and attentive to the patrons.

I love a good brunch spot. I was really craving a Monte Cristo, Google search brought us here! Did not disappoint! Very busy, you order at counter and it is dine in or take out. We were lucky to get a table. Tables are in my opinion close to one another but if you don't mind bumping elbows it's all good. Staff was wonderful and food was delicious!!! Loved the dad jokes at the table!! Love a good tea latte and it hit the spot for a rainy Saturday!!

This place is a gem for downtown Saco and lives up to its name! They truly do have the "Finest Kind" of food! My husband and I decided to give it a try for brunch. The vibe of the place is fresh, open, and modern, with a nod to mid century Scandinavian for today's era. The bakery case is filled with the most appetizing and appealing baked goods from donuts to cookies and more. While we were tempted, we did not try... yet. The setup is to order at the counter, and they brung it to you. The service was great- we were checked on and they asked for specific feedback. Their menu is just right- not too many options and just the right options for breakfast and lunch. My husband ordered the breakfast sándwich with sausage and I ordered the Monte Cristo. We split an order of hash browns. The food came out fresh, hot and was simply AMAZING. The Monte Cristo was the perfect blend of soft to crispy bread with enough ooze of cheese. The syrup adds the perfect blend of sweet and savory. That egg sandwich? Decadent. Perfect egg yolk, with fresh sausage and cheese... so good! And the hash browns? Oh my! They reminded me of a spin on a potato latka minus the applesauce. The Orange Juice is freshly squeezed and tasted just like an orange. Portions are perfect- just right and felt energized as opposed to heavy, which goes to show that fresh really is best! While it is pricey, it's worth it for an indulgent treat. We love this place and can't wait to be back!

Snowbird special with Canadian bacon. The jam as so delicious on house made English muffin

Cuteness overload! I got snowbird special so delicious, and PS they make their English muffins ! Lots of bakery treats too which looked great maybe next time. Tandem coffee is obvious plus too! If you haven't been you are missing out.

We stopped here for a quick breakfast and we are glad we did. It's a chill small little spot that serves great breakfasts and amazing pastries! Service was super friendly and everything came out very fast. We were lucky to get a table before people started flooding in. The coffee was tasty and of very good quality. The two pastries we got were big in size and sweet in flavor. The breakfast we got was fantastic. We got the west side story which was their perfectly wrapped breakfast burrito which was very filling and full of flavors! We also got the red and black lumber jack. There was so much going on in this and we loved it. Their perfectly cooked hash browns with juicy brisket and an amazing horseradish sauce in between. Everything we had here left us with smiles. Highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed you did! The food and people are amazing and the space is great.

Everything about FinestKind was amazing. We arrived around 8:15 on a Thursday and it was already pretty full, but the staff was great about helping us find seating. We ordered the breakfast burrito (no pic), lobster Benedict, and the French toast. The food came out very quickly and it was delicious! Everyone loved their food. The burrito was dense and full of flavor. The French toast was fluffy and the strawberry rhubarb sauce and cream were so flavorful. Plenty of lobster on the Benny and it also had great flavor. It wasn't drowning in a poorly-made hollandaise sauce; the sauce was light and flavorful. The hash browns were also fantastic. We also tried some baked goods. The oatmeal cream pies were the best!! The portions aren't huge, but we all left full. We will definitely come back!

We met some friends for a lunch/brunch the other day at Finest Kind. Wow, what a treat! We were sad that the prpprevious restaurant located here closed, but this is a fantastic replacement! The space is a little small, but cozy and comfy. It's decorated fairly simply and feels homey. The staff was really helpful and friendly, too. We got a chance to talk to the kind owner who told us that they've had a great first six weeks. The food was amazing. Everything we ate (see pics) was so fresh and tasty! We are already making plans to go back!

    Crispy hashbrowns

Very very good. A bit pricey but worth the splurge, hash browns are a must order. Everything is thoughtfully done from scratch, service is fast and friendly.

Oh my gosh!!! This is a GEM. This little breakfast spot in Pepperell Square Saco, is picture perfect perfection. Absolute cozy vibes. The staff you can tell, are passionate about the food they're serving and love their jobs. Every thing is carefully pieced together, and thoughtful. The food is exquisite!!! So many unique choices, seasonal tats tea, and sourced ethically and locally. Please go NOW!!!!

Grits with lobster. Forgot to mention the eggs on top.
    James F.

Tortilla soup was good, but very overpriced. Grits with lobster was not good- tasteless. Turkey sandwich was okay, but overpriced at $16. The small glass of iced tea was good, but at $5 was very expensive. The front door opened into the room, and the temperature dropped 15 degrees- not a place to be in winter. Suggest the Golden Rooster. The bread was delicious giving it three stars.

It feels like Maine with the wood logs as the decor and trees. We sat in the back room which almost gives a Maine camp porch vibe. There are two different Prix fix a three and a four. My husband got the three but I went with the four because I had heard some great things with the glazed carrots, I thought we could share them. Everything was wonderful but just too much food for me. I started with the tuna sashimi which was superb and my husband had the pork belly. I had the glazed carrots and they brought my husband glazed cauliflower on the house, loved both. My husband had the steak and I had the halibut and they both were delicious. My fish came with baby potatoes, I'm not a fan of those. Finally my husband had their famous glazed donuts, the plate was licked clean and I had the chocolate cake. I am gf so I could not partake in some of his items but he said they were delicious and Earth did a fantastic job ensuring my allergy safety. Can't wait to return.

One of our attending friends (Dale) who organized this journey, outdid himself in finding this gem of a restaurant. Exquisite, magnificent, classy, with a cozy and warm/well appointed ambiance. Earth at Hidden Pond is all of these with fabulous service and meal offerings. While I personally was apprehensive about sitting outside in a shed, I am SO glad Dale did not give up the sales effort. We pulled up our cars to the valet outside the front door and were warmly greeted there and as well by the hostess stand folks. Our reservation was for the private Potter's Shed but due to a snafu we were brought to the larger Painter's Shed. Wow, impressive does not do this location justice. Check out our pictures here. Our server Kurt (5 stars) met us there and expertly walked us thru the cocktail menu, and we ordered the following: a glass of Chardonnay, Humble Old Fashioned, Hidden Smoke, Pickled Tini, Cranberry Clock and Autumn Sangria. He also brought several offerings of focaccia bread with plates of dipping oil. A very nice touch. Kurt next reviewed the menu with the group, as we were enjoying our various cocktails. We selected the 4 course prix fixe Fall menu for $115 per person. Glad we did as all of these course choices were phenomenal. First selections made: caprese salad, roasted carrots, salad, beef tartare and 2 butternut squash soaps Second: fettuccine, several cavatelli & seared foie gras orders and crab cake Main selections: several seafood stews & halibut orders, lobster thermidore, and scallops Dessert selections: 5 orders of doughnuts and one chai cake Bonus round from Kurt as he brought out samples of roasted cauliflower early & raspberry layer mousse later Bottom line this was a wonderful night with epic friends and over the top yet humble service from a Pro's Pro in Kurt. Thank you my friend, you impressed us all and represented the Earth at Hidden Pond brand in legendary fashion. Don't miss this opportunity to dine like Kings & Queens in a very warm environment with magnificent food and service. Kudos to all. Cheers to the Kirby's and the Pizzi's

We sat at the upper bar and our bartender was Taylor. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in every cocktail she makes. It seemed that she was working the service bar so making cocktails for the entire restaurant.. she took her time with those while also balancing making sure that the few people at the upstairs bar were all taken care of which is very hard to balance as a bartender myself, so well done! We ordered sooo many cocktails and so many apps. My FAVORITE was the Tom Yum cocktail, which was without a doubt the best cocktail I've had in my entire life.... and I don't give out that compliment easily. The Jonah crab clause were very tasty and fresh, oysters were super crisp and cold, but my favorite thing we ordered were the twin lobster rolls, which was an excellent price when this place isn't super cheap overall. The lobster roll was zippy, buttery, a perfectly toasted bun with the most light and refreshing lobster meat ever. The pretzel appetizer is actually huge. They came out super hot with a mustard dip and beer cheese sauce, which was lovely. The only thing that I would skip next time is the shrimp cocktail. I didn't really enjoy it because it seemed to be seasoned maybe with Cajun and placed on a grill quickly? I was just looking for more of a traditional shrimp cocktail that night but that's ok because they were still super fresh and high-quality. Ambiance couldn't have been more cute inside. Downstairs by the bathroom is another large room with lights and there's also a hidden speakeasy of their upstairs that we will pop into next time. Please go!
