Great food music and atmosphere Would have added photo of Dunn Bar Rueben but ate it too fast, Hard working team must visit if in Biddeford / Saco.

    Prime Rib

I was really looking forward to trying The Dun Bar, but unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. I ordered the grilled queen prime with Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. My sister-in-law had the fish and chips. The fries that came with the fish and chips lacked freshness, and the coleslaw had an overpowering onion flavor. However, the fish itself was flaky and well-cooked. My prime rib was served without au jus, which I had expected. The Brussels sprouts were barely warm and a bit tough, as if they had been sitting out for a while. The mashed potatoes were plentiful--enough to serve four people--and had a nice consistency and flavor, but they were served without butter, which made them feel incomplete. The owner personally waited on us and asked how the meal was. I appreciated the opportunity to share my honest feedback, but there was no follow-up--no gesture to try again, not even a small offer to return. She just smiled and said, "Thanks for the feedback." Sadly, I won't be returning. I had hoped this would be a great new addition to the local dining scene, but it just didn't deliver.

An iced version of the Irish coffee! So freaking good! I had 2!

Wow! I cannot say enough good things about this pub. My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday and we were greeted by the owner and she was so nice and welcoming (I unfortunately didn't get her name). We got our pick of places to sit and we decided to sit in the bar area, close to the action! Every interaction that we observed was great and friendly between the staff! On top of this, the ambiance and decor of this pub is straight out of Ireland! We loved it! Now on to the food!!! I got the Reuben and my wife got the Irish Brunch Bowl and holy crap were they both sooooo freaking good! The brunch bowl is easily 2-3 meals in itself and the Reuben was your traditional, homemade Reuben with homemade corned beef! Both were so delicious and we couldn't get enough! We both HIGHLY recommend this place and can't wait to come back!

Cozy nook by the window in the dining room, close enough to hear the live music but able to enjoy conversation

Everything was perfect at this fairly new to the scene Biddeford Irish Pub and restaurant. Cozy nook seating, holiday decor, live music in the bar area, generous portions, strong drinks, a fun, personable and professional waitress, clean bathroom, and absolutely delicious dinner. The atmosphere rivaled any authentic coast of Ireland establishment (GREAT job). Our three generation family is VERY particular, it's hard to find a spot that appeals to all. This is a great family place, but could easily serve as a romantic night out too. Really, really enjoyed and went home with enough leftovers for two more meals, haha

They were not busy at all but today was a freakishly warm weathered day in Maine! Staff was wonderful! Very friendly and inviting! Irish decor galore! The food is scratch made and delicious!!! My husband loved the Reuben! Their Curry sauce was out of this world! The bangers and mash!! Let's just say I ate it all but 2 bites and that was because I had to save room for the bread pudding and whiskey caramel sauce!!

    So perfectly cooked!

Fantastic, what a great place, service to exquisite food, can't recommend this place enough. Our server Shelley was awesome, engaging and totally on top of everything, Chef Chris came to the table and we had a great conversation, and as a former sous Chef, I really appreciated his passion for creating great food. Kudos to Chris and Elaine for such a beautiful place.

    Fish and chips!! Excellent!!

Amazing Irish bar!! Diane and Chris are the owners. She is from Ireland. This is a GENUINE Irish bar, in SACO Maine!! Guinness, Harp, Smithwicks, the best fish and chips and shepherds pie I've ever had. I can't believe that such an amazing Irish bar is here. Go!! Now!! Before too long you will have to wait to get in.

Good Ole Irish pub. Service from Angela was fun and excellent. Food was good. Drinks very nice. It does what it says on the label.

We came in on a whim for some good Irish style food. Irish they had, including cottage pie, Shepards pie, corn beef and cabbage, and many other dishes. The service was decent. We were sat right away, and she made sure the kitchen was still serving food. We got drinks and ordered dinner. There was a singer doing live music, he was very Irish, or at least sounded Irish and was pleasing the crowd and having them join in. He was very loud, and no talking could happen between myself and the date I was with... the music was nice I just don't think it needs to be that loud. The food was good, not great, the garlic scallops was 36.00$ for 6 scallops. The corn beef and cabbage was 24$, I'll show the picture below. The prices were a bit high in my opinion, even for todays higher grocery prices. All in all, a nice place, decent service, music was too loud, and the food was average. It wasn't bad in any way, but the prices could have been a bit better.

We had a very enjoyable experience at this local Irish pub. My wife had the lamb shank, and I had the Shepherd's Pie. Both were delicious and well worth the price. Combined with friendly fast service, I would have to say we'll be back again. Call ahead for reservations, especially on weekends.

Stood in line for approximately 20 minutes and decided to order two drinks to avoid the line. One line ended up creating a second line further down the secondary bar here. Felt a little up set for the mother with two kids trying to get something for her family while others cut the line. To each their own. The decor is rustic, closed captions were on the TV with some game on. Lots of product promotional signage, I also enjoy their Guinness signs. We enjoyed our pint while watching the Irish Step dancers from Stillsons Irish dance organization. Such talented young people and to be able to do their dances in such a crowded atmosphere is remarkable. Love watching them. Sadly no tables available so we did not get any food. We have come here several times for whiskey drinks and Irish music on Sundays and to meet up with friends. I love the dark wood and fireplace. Shout out to the bartenders keeping their cool, smiling at each person they served, and serving Guinness as it is meant to be and not rushed! Side note: they went through a lot of Guinness on that day and when the keg needed to be kicked, they have buttons on the wall and perhaps the leprechauns are down below changing them out for us

Batson River is the latter, and we loved our lunch outing in one of the adorable seasonal outdoor ice fishing sheds. I enjoyed the tacos - the ratio of fish to slaw and aioli, etc. was just right. And the sandwiches are served with a generous amount of crispy French fries. On a weekday in March, many of the local shops and restaurants were closed. It was an unseasonably warm day, and we were happy to stumble upon Batson River for a fun and memorable lunch!

We chose seats looking outside, which were topped with fur warmers, which made them comfortable to sit on. There are plenty of heaters on, which made it nice and cozy. Also, the plethora of Christmas decorations inside and out, made it also feel cozy, and festive. I stuck with fries, and they even had sour cream for dipping them. We will absolutely be back to try more of the menu!

Under no circumstances do you want to come to this place. Came here yesterday on a Saturday night and ordered two drinks. Drinks were watery and bartender Dan said this is a dive bar so no top shelf. The alcohol tasted watered down in an unmarked bottle. It was clear by his demeanor and attitude that he didn't want to be there. This Sunday, I wanted to give it another chance and I ordered a beer and seltzer (they only have cans and no taps) and, unfortunately, Dan was back on the bar. He told me that one beer and one seltzer were $10 each. 20 dollars plus tax! Obviously overpriced and no evidence posted anywhere of the price. He didn't open the cans nor provide glasses. He did nothing but give the cans. No pour, no opening the tab, nothing. He threw my tip money into the bucket like it was meaningless. I was going to order a mixed drink and I asked him what kind of vodka he had and threw an unlabeled bottle on the bar. He told me that if I didn't tip him more money IN ADVANCE of the next drink, he wouldn't serve me another drinks. So, I asked to speak to the manager, Kaylee. Kaylee told me Dan can refuse service for ANY reason. I asked her if Dan's demanding what he determined to be enough money for a tip before serving a drink was a justifiable reason for no service, and she said yes. So, demanding a tip of whatever Dan deemed appropriate in advance is a reason for non service! Come on. Dan's service and his grouchy demeanor sucked. That's why he didn't get a larger tip. He did nothing to earn one. What a sense of entitlement. The manager, Kaylee, didn't even have the fortitude to stand up to this incompetent Dan and hold the line that no drink Is contingent on a minimum tip in advance. So, because we are tourists, he basically doesn't care, changes and does anything that he wants, and he's backed up by management. Weak Kaylee. What a joke!

There was a fresh scent and it seemed well kept. Our waitress let us know the specials. Both were mushroom appetizers, which I thought was a little strange. She also said they were out of mashed potato, which bummed me out a little cause I was going to get the baked haddock with mash. We decided to order a kids butter pasta, chicken finger dinner and chicken Alfredo pizza. Once everything came out, my son was putting Parmesan on his noodles when I noticed mold in the jar. The waitress was apologetic and took the cheese and dish away. I asked if we could order a cheese pizza in its place. I strayed in on my Alfredo chicken pizza. I wasn't crazy about the crust and the few couple slices each had some chewy bites of chicken that I had to take out of my mouth. My daughter seemed happy with her tenders but the fries were so thick, they didn't have any crisp to them- just large slices of potato. We got boxes and asked for the cheese pizza "to go", as well as our check. To my surprise, the pasta was still on the bill. When I pointed that out to the waitress and suggested they be taken off (due to the moldy cheese), she said she'd need to ask the manager. After a bit of a discussion between the two of them, the noodles were removed, but I thought that should have been a no brainer. The waitress was very sweet, neither the cheese or the bill was any fault of hers, but we didn't have a great first impression.
