    Banana yogurt
    Christine C.

This place was beautiful! You walk in and the large windows give so much light. And the light colors of the place made is so very pleasant. It was just pretty in a very modern way. Luna must be a dog, as her photos were in a few places. ? But either way, super cute place. I walked in just before a lot of people walked in behind me. IT seems very popular, but the parking does not reflect that. It's a bit tight, and people got really creative. Their menu was great - something for everyone. Toasts, yogurt, smoothies, smoothie bowls, and what I came for lattes! They even offered latte flights. Which after I saw one with a holiday flight, I wished I had ordered one. All the cute toppings for the holidays. It was just pretty to look at. I got a banana yogurt - it came out in a boat! Too much banana for me, but I guess in the end I believe it was called a banana split, sooooo fair. My drink came out slightly off, it had peppermint candy on top, and it was a sugar cookie latte. After not being able to get past the peppermint smell and taste, I asked if it was right, and the barista offered to remake it. She was busy, but I don't feel like I waited too long. The staff is nice. Not over the top great, but polite. This place is all about ambiance and having lots of great places to sit. They also had some pastries, and sandwiches to order. I would stop back in for their creative lattes, but maybe when they aren't busy.

This place is hopping! It's always packed but I got to sneak in and grab some take out. I had the Turkey with bacon sandwich and the chips are seasoned and yummy. Grabbed a hot coffee to go as well. After ordering wait to the right, the left is for online orders, or take a seat. It bright, open, and comfortable.

Love their avocado toast. They also have a little fridge of prepared food- their energy bites are very good!

I was in Portland, Maine and I was driving back to Boston and found this cute spot! It was really busy but worth the wait. I ordered their seasonal apple crisp latte and an egg sandwich and it was delicious. The breakfast sandwich eggs were so fluffy and the English muffin was so good! Definitely a local spot but I recommend anyone who come to visit as well!

Love love love this place! My friend originally recommended me this place to go study and work. I got a lotus energy drink which resembles the rushes at aromas. My friend got a chicken bacon lettuce sandwich which was very packed and filled, also very delicious. There's plenty of seating for everyone. Our food and drinks came out promptly as well. The only downside of this place is how loud the environment can be with the blenders, music, and chatting nearby. Overall, I love Luna and will be back!

I've been going to Cafe Luna for some time now and have not had a bad experience. Located in Scarborough, you wouldn't expect this trendy cafe to be right off Route 1, but I'm so glad we have it here; there aren't many other places like it in the area. One of my favorite things about Luna is how spacious it is! They have high tops, seating by their window area, outdoor seating during the summer, regular tables, and the comfiest and softest chairs. I love to come here to get some work done and change my seating location throughout the day. The service is also excellent; I've always felt welcomed, and everyone's lovely. The menu is extensive and filled with salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and toasts. They have an impressive selection. My favorite is their combo deal, where you can get half a salad and half a sandwich for $13 -- you can't beat that. The food is pretty good, but it can sometimes be inconsistent. I don't love their coffee, but that's mainly because I'm a dark roast person, and they don't offer that. At $4 for a cup of hot coffee (for black coffee, this is a bit over the average cost), I'd expect to have a few more options in terms of the style. Lastly, people complain about the parking, but it's not that bad. Yes, it can be frustrating during rush hour, but just be a bit patient. I've never struggled to find a spot, and the most I've had to wait is 5 minutes. Given the space, I think they did their best with the parking situation.

Such a cute cafe! Love when I find a place like this with good parking!! The inside is so cute and spacious and the staff is friendly. Everything on their menu looked so good, it made it very hard to choose what to get lol. My husband got the cranberry chicken salad and said it was fantastic! I tried one of the chips they serve on the side and those were also great. I got the spring fling smoothie bowl and it was so good. All the fruit was fresh tasting and the flavors were so bright and sweet! Can't wait to come back and try their coffee because it looked great!!

Don't mind the tight parking as the spaces turn over quickly. The inside has a sweet boho design, conversation is easily heard with the open design, and the service is quick with a friendly efficient staff. Stop in for breakfast or lunch! You'll love it!

Combo plate with chopped salad with chicken

I stopped by for a lunch date on Sunday and it was the perfect lil spot! It was busy but we were able to find an open table to sit and chat. I ordered the combo with the chicken chipotle sandwich on sourdough and the chopped salad, and she had the caprese toast. I was super impressed with how tall my sandwich was - it actually had a decent portion of protein, and my chopped salad had the perfect blend of toppings. And the bacon was SO crispy for both! Her caprese toast was also so fresh - the tomatoes had a beautiful crunch. So many great choices and can't wait to come back!

Berry Bliss (banana, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, almond milk; topped with granola, strawberry, banana, peanut butter, and hemp).

People LOVE Cafe Luna! One set of our parents would come here all the time if they could! I think maybe it was filling a void in that specific part of Scarborough; it seems busy every time I visit. Maybe it's the spacious interior that offers so many different styles of seating (comfy chairs, tables, high tops, at their window bar), maybe it's because they don't rush you out (it seems you can stay as long as you want; I've seen lots of people working with their laptops here), maybe it's because there's something for everyone on the menu making it a safe choice for groups of people with varying diets to meet up. For us, though, Cafe Luna is a miss. I've been several times now, I always get an iced coffee, and the iced coffee is always tremendously watery. And the smoothie bowls? They just taste like banana (which is a whole joke in the smoothie bowl world: while bananas themselves don't necessarily have a strong flavor, they seem to dominate smoothie bowls when used because of a chemical reaction. So you have to use them when they're less ripe or use them with strong tropical flavors. Weird, right?). The Berry Bliss is made with banana, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, and almond milk -- it just tastes like banana. The Cocoa Craze is made with dates, cocoa, banana, honey, peanut butter, almond butter, and oats -- it just tastes like bananas. They're both topped with more bananas. While the smoothie base is super thick (which is how I like them), there are other places in Greater Portland I'd rather get a smoothie bowl at because I personally think they genuinely have better flavor profiles, better homemade peanut butter, and better granolas. It's just a preference thing!

Good healthy option to have in Scarborough. The cafe itself is super cute and airy. It's quiet enough if you want to work or do some reading. As for food, smoothie bowls are pretty good. My fave is the luna bowl. I've ordered food to go, but I'd recommend you order to enjoy your food there. They are painfully slow when it comes to fulfilling orders. There are a lot of employees but they don't seem to have a system down to keep up with the demands or maybe I'm just unlucky. I've visited this spot about three times since moving back home and my smoothie or smoothie bowl has taken at least 20 minutes. It's not enough to deter me from coming but don't think of this place as a quick pick up if you order in store. I've learned my lesson and now I order ahead of time if I don't plan on staying in the cafe.

Great new cafe in Scarborough. Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. Large open concept and here you go up to the front and order. I got a chicken sandwhich and it was really good! They also have lots of different coffee and other drinks! I didn't try those but they looked really good as well.

The smoked haddock chowder should be the main attraction for this place, it was seriously really legit. The lobster wasn't quite our style; the lobster was super cold and I believe had the slightest bit of mayo to the point it wasn't really even enough mayo to even know it was there. I don't mind the philosophy of letting the lobster shine, but lobster needs a bit of salt or SOMETHING to make its flavor pop. If you like Maine style then you might like this but if you favor Connecticut style then you might not prefer how this is made.

Ahh, the sign of a butchers cleaver. I am not sure what this provokes in most people, but as I've…read moresaid before, Stephen King gives me the heebie-jeebies. So for me, the butcher cleaver represents something tasty--except for when the shmuckabaloos haven't a clue what they are doing. Fortunately, this tasty little joint, Miller's Market up in Gorham, Maine, knows what they're doing! I'd been cruising the highways, riding the coast of Vacationland for some time now, and somehow, someway, ventured a bit further inland. Once I saw the burnt-orange cleaver in the window, I knew I'd have to give it a try and see if these hullabaloos knew what they were doing. I was greeted with a "Hey, how you'rrrr doin'?" The soft, rolling extension on the r made me feel right at home in Maine. Jeezum crow, you Mainers speak funny. But by golly, you are a lovable bunch of hillbilly farmers and fisherfolk. Anywho, I ordered myself a chicken Caesar wrap--wanting to feel nourished, but not to the point of comatose. Salad in a wrap--a genius way to feel healthy. Mind over matter. "Hand-cut fries or hand-cut chips?" the counter guy asked me. Now, I love a fry, but I'm feeling crunchy in these overcast late-April days. I hesitate, and somehow this mind reader behind the counter could sense it. "I can see you want the chips, but you gotta try these fries. Why don't I give you a little of both?" he says to me. Now I'm looking at him cockeyed--just another Mainer who seems to be able to read a man's soul. Well, I am here now--no turning back. And then my eyes widen when I spot a tasty crème soda in the fridge next to the register. My lucky day. Crème soda--the most underrated of all sodas. What's not to love? Creamy and poppy all in the same bottle. This guy seems nice, and I am in no rush, so I say, "Hey, throw it on my tab. I'm going to be a while. After I eat, I'm going to write something!" I pull up a spot without paying and know that there's no expectation to do so--at least not right away. Good ol' Maine courtesy, as good as this blueberry Jalapeño salsa from Pemberton partners, which I can apparently purchase at Millers Market, where it just ain't sangys it's home goodies too. I open up my futuristic-typewriter and get to work on my latest novel, but can't seem to find a single word. I glance at the menu--buffalo chicken pesto sandwich. Hard tellin', not knowin'. Mainers--brilliant folk when it comes to food. Pesto and buffalo sauce! Never had it, but I need it. That's bound to be tasty--as warm buttah' on lobstah. "Hi, I'll take my butter with lobster, please."--how it should be ordered. Dee-EEE --licious. You Mainers are shaking your heads right now, pesto and buffalo is probably a common thing round these parts, from ya? Nope I ain't and the rest of the country is far behind on the trend of the buffalo/pesto combo, I can promise you that. Then my food is brought out to me. It looks tasty--but the fries have me skeptical.... Find out how it all turned out at https://ryanccurtis.com/blog/timeless-fries-at-millers-market/n19c63

Indoor seating was lacking, and the menu wasn't huge...but trust me, the variety was just enough to satisfy just about anyone. I ordered the smash burger, which was messy, greasy and absolutely fantastic. I got the turkey club for my kids to split (and this thing was HUGE) they didn't finish it . My wife got the Cesar wrap, and she was beyond happy with it. She even brought half back home with us. I strangely suggest going on a nice day and sitting outside, it was wonderful. (Pro-tip; if going during peak lunch, expect a wait on the food. We went into Azul Tequila and got an appetizer to go so we could eat this while waiting for our sandwiches. Honestly, it's the best of both worlds)
