Tasting

The owner himself gave us a guided tour through his beautiful brewery where we ended with a well planned and organized tasting. He was eager to answer all of our questions and socialized with the entire group for the whole experience.

My wife and I visited Savannah Georgia from Saint Augustine. We enjoyed several delicious beers . When we come back this will be one of our first stops. We brought home a few canned beers as well. Highly recommend to any and all! Lindsay and Linda Johnson

Being a veteran I'm always going to support fellow veterans. That being said the Service Being crew are brewing since amazing beers in Savannah. I would most definitely recommend this local business to anyone that enjoys beer. This particular visit I enjoyed Rally Point (their most popular) an easy drinking, crushable beer, Teufel Hunden which is their Oktoberfest Märzen one of the better Märzens I've tasted, Freedom Machine Vol. 7 a juicy IPA an easy drinking IPA not overly bitter and Just A Slice which is a dark roasty stout. All of these beers were above average in my opinion. Do yourself a favor and visit their tap room and support America's Finest.

Great service, beer and ambiance. I'd recommend you eat before you get there because the food truck was ok.

The Freedom Machine IPA is delicious. Great atmosphere and nice owners. Highly recommend for beer lovers visiting Savannah. They also supper veteran causes.

Loved this brewery and will definitely be back. Terrific beers and ambiance! Loved the live music, food trucks, gear and TVs. It has it all.

I'm not a beer person, but I really like the monthly Saturday morning yoga events here. The yoga is cheap, and you get to try a pint of beer with the class. They have a lot to offer, and they usually have a food truck you can enjoy afterwards. I do think the customer service could be better, though. Some people aren't very friendly.

My wife and I were in Savannah for a long weekend and I am a huge craft beer fan. This place was within walking distance of our hotel and I liked that it was open air on a perfect day in Georgia. I ordered one of their IPAs and got a couple of stickers as well. (I trade with my brother-in-law) The beer was wonderful and they had some relief stations and a water station for my wife. The second IPA was also delish and the servers were the owners I believe and military minded. Plus one. It was a relaxing half hour downing some brews before dinner and a relief from all the walking we had done that day. Get some beer here, I saw their brand at a lot of restaurants on our trip as well.

A chalk board to leave your message.

Amazing Craft brewery in downtown Savannah, GA! Tasting room is beautiful! Beers were delicious. Taste master was very knowledgeable.

Great selection of beer, plenty of space to sit & stay for a while, bathrooms are clean, I loved the Banana pudding beer, and there was a variety of games. Staff was great & I loved the location, walking distance from downtown & the river district. Would come back again!

Make sure you have a full clip!

Best around. Feels like being around friends. Pairs well with the food trucks outside.

We are always on the lookout for a new brewery anytime we visit a different city. Service Brewing has been on our radar for a while now and we finally got a chance to go! Savannah being the lovely, walkable city that it is. We made our way to Service one late afternoon since our dinner reservations weren't until late. We walked in and there was a long line that moved fairly quickly. I order a flight, my usual. I really enjoyed the Mexican lager and sour beers. They had a nice selection of beer, something for everyone. We enjoyed our beers outside while sitting at a picnic table. The weather was breezy and beautiful! This is a must stop if you are in the Bay St./River St. area!

I love this brewery! We visited on a Saturday afternoon right when the live band was getting started. My wife and I ordered a flight to start. All great beers! The wheat was my favorite, but there are several to choose from. There was a food truck right outside with some tasty street tacos. It's a great space with tons of room. Dogs and kids were welcome. The line moved quick and the service was great! All of this AND veteran-owned! Give it a try next time you're in Savannah. You won't be disappointed!

Crystal Beer Parlor - Flounder Reuben and sweet potato waffle fries

It is a Savannah staple, and upon arrival, it was pretty easy to tell why. The spot was buzzing. The overall atmosphere was lively but also very family-friendly. It was quite busy, but we found seats at the bar fairly easily and decided to grab a beer. The service was solid and efficient. The staff was kind and super helpful. The bartenders gave us a quick rundown of the history of Crystal Beer Parlor (which is pretty fascinating - so, look it up if you don't know) as well as gave us their top menu recommendations. Ultimately, we settled on pairing our beer(s) with the highly recommended deep-fried pound cake and MY GOODNESS. That pound cake was SO GOOD! I haven't stopped thinking about it. The next time I find myself in Savannah, I will BEELINE to Crystal Beer Parlor for the deep-fried pound cake ALONE! It was so moist. So, flavorful - with and without the ice cream. What a treat! Chef's kiss! This place is definitely on my repeat list. Pricing is reasonable. They have ample parking. There is more than enough seating indoors. They also have outdoor seating. They have a pretty solid menu, but alas, we only ordered the cake. So, I cannot speak to any of their entrees or more savory items. They have a pretty stellar beer menu. It is a great local spot that I am happy we decided to pop into. I'll definitely go back again and try more of their menu.

Somewhat disappointed following our first time eating at the Crystal Beer Parlor. We made this our…read morefirst restaurant in Savannah for a late lunch. But I am only giving 3 starts for the very friendly staff and history, b/c the food was just average. We had their signature crab chowder, crystal burger and jalapeño wings. The chowder was okay, it wasn't all that. I would have expected a few chunks of crab, but it was all just little bits of crab. Burger was nothing special, good bun and good tomato, but burger was dry, pre-cooked beef patty (puck). Wings were salty, glad we only ordered the 6 piece.

Always seen the Crispi food truck parked at Two Tides Brewing and it always smells amazing --…read morefinally decided to try it, and wow, not disappointed! You can order online for pickup while you're seated at Two Tides sipping their amazing sour beers, which is such a great setup. The patty was nice and crispy, flat, and well seasoned, and the Crispi sauce really makes the whole thing. That said, my patty melt had a few misses: the bun could've been toasted more, there was way too much sauce (it was practically drowning in it), and my patty didn't even cover the bun. The onions also needed to be caramelized more. The potato stix on top gave it a nice crunch though, and overall I still enjoyed it. They offer a gluten free bun for +$2, which was a nice option -- quality, soft bun, and both my husband and I got our burgers on it. His double patty was even better than mine, with tons of meat. We were both stuffed by the end. Overall a solid stop if you're at Two Tides -- would go back and probably ask for less sauce next time.

I had high hopes for this place as I've heard great things but the line is always long when I'm in the area or I've already eaten elsewhere so I hadn't gotten to try it until now. They were definitely busy and my order went from 10-15 min to more like 30 minutes to prepare. I got the Crispi Patty Melt with the veggie patty and it just didn't slap like I hoped. The flavor was kind of bland and it was mostly just drenched in sauce. Knowing how much others like it, and as much time as I spend in the area, I will probably try it again in the future but order something else on the menu.

These are a must try if you like wings. Chicken and pancake tacos were delicious. Pancakes had a touch of sweetness. Fried chicken inside with a spicy mayo. Topped with a strawberry salsa that worked well. 3 of these were very filling. Fun and very good. Son had the double wide footlong. Topped with sloppy Joe. After that the 2 sides were different. One had fried banana peppers. The other side more classic with toppings. Son said it was really good. Others had the ahi tuna salad. Tuna was perfectly rare. Salad was good and the wasabi dressing had great flavor without being too spicy. Service was quick even though jam packed. Also very friendly.

The whole place is designed to feel like the inside of a trailer--spray-painted antique chandeliers, old pictures of different trailer parks, and random little details everywhere. It's kitschy, but very intentional, and honestly pretty cool. We came in late after a 4h drive into town after work, and the staff was still super friendly and accommodating. No "we're about to close" energy, which I appreciated. We started with the creamy collard dip, which is basically their take on spinach-artichoke dip, but with collards. Really good. I do think the chips were a little too heavy for the dip--a thinner chip would've been perfect--but that's a small note. The chicken pancake tacos were probably my favorite. The chicken was fried perfectly and still really moist. And at this point, I'm convinced Savannah just knows how to cook chicken. Everywhere we went, the chicken was consistently good. My partner got the grilled apple pie sandwich, which has fried chicken, grilled apples and bacon. He's not even a big pork person, but that bacon was so crispy and the whole combination just worked. Even the waffle fries were good--crispy, fresh and actually seasoned. We had the Grateful Dead and Wicked Kiwi cocktails, plus a couple of shots, and the drinks were strong, good and reasonably priced. Honestly, I don't have a ton of notes here. It's not trying to be some elevated dining experience. It's just a really good late-night spot with good food, strong drinks, friendly service and a fun atmosphere. We sat inside because Savannah in August was not about to have us sitting on anybody's patio. Definitely recommend, especially if you're looking for somewhere to eat late. It was a vibe, the food was good, and it did exactly what it needed to do.
