If I could give this place no stars I would! The old lady at the front desk was so disrespectful. I had an appointment at 10 am & I picked up my dog at 3:25PM!! She was all nice to me on the phone & once I got there she flipped a switch. She showed me a small chunk of hair that came from my dogs ears because they were matted. She said they take time on the dogs. I told her that I appreciated that. She said my dog kept moving her head... well yeah! My dog got impatient being there for 5 whole hours!!! She's like the groomers been working on her for a good hour. So you're trying to tell me you start working on her at 1:30-2pm when I dropped her off at 10 AM. When I dropped her off, the groomer was like it's just me & I have 15 more dogs. I told the white old lady on the phone that if I would've known you were so busy I wouldn't have came today. She said Friday at 10 am was available! I had no problem with coming a different day if she would've told me they were booked. Why make me an appointment????? I called at 2:46 to get an update she told me it was gonna be another hour or hour & a half because she was "drying". Then she called me back at 3:08 & was like she's done. When I showed up she said she didn't appreciate what I said over the phone about how I wouldn't have left my dog with them. I let this old woman speak & I spoke to her with respect. When she was done talking it was my turn! But nooo, she wanted to keep talking over me. Yelling to the groomer to bring my dog out ASAP. That's disrespectful! We are 2 grown ass adults. Talk to me the way you want to be talked to! She tried to charge me $45 when I've paid $40. If she was charging me $5 more for something she should've told me! I told her I was paying $40. She told the groomer to take my dog back! MY DOG!! You don't own my dog! You're lucky I even paid at all! She told me I was no longer welcome! HAHAHAHA like if I was going to come back to this place! Then she spoke to my sister on the phone & told her that I was the one being disrespectful & that I threw my money at her. 1. I came to her with nothing, but respect! 2. I wasn't gonna let her speak over me the way she did because I let her speak!!! 3. I know for a FACT that I set my money down on the counter & did NOT throw it! && then she txts me, which I'm assuming is her personal #, of the screen showing me how much she's charged me before. How unprofessional! I specifically asked them to leave my dogs ears short & they left her face & ears very choppy! So -$5 dollars for that! NEVER BRINGING MY DOG HERE AGAIN!!! TAKE SOME LESSONS ON GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, WOULD YA???? & On top of all that, neither of them were wearing a mask!!!

I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

I did a search online looking for a local dog daycare for my mom's German Shepherd. This was the…read moreclosest one I could find to her. It's located in Peoria, AZ which is northwest of Phoenix. It is near Bell Road and the 101 making it accessible for people like me traveling from nearby cities. The facility is in an industrial type zone. The building is sort of a large warehouse that is shared by several businesses. The backside has large garage type doors. I only know this because Google Maps led me to the back (south side) of the building initially. The map has been updated to hopefully prevent others from getting lost looking for the entrance which is on the northeast corner of the building. Every Doggie Has Its Daycare has applications online that you can download, print, and complete. The information provided online makes it easy for you to prepare for your first appointment. You'll need the latest copy of your dog's vaccination records including Bordetella. Plus, you will need the paperwork showing that your pet was spayed or neutered. Even though my dog has a tattoo indicating that she was spayed, the paperwork was required. I appreciate that the business has high standards and requests these records. It lets me know that patrons of the business care for their dogs and that my dog will be in a healthy and safe environment. Before allowing your dog to use their services, you will need to schedule a free, 3-hour temperament test. This allows the staff to assess your dog's energy level and comparability with other dogs. Based on this, your dog will be paired accordingly for future play groups. Please note, some dog breeds are not allowed due to insurance policies of the business. While the facility does not offer a webcam remotely or on site, the staff do actively take and post photos of the dogs on the business Instagram and Facebook pages. They post pictures pretty much every hour and try to capture every new dog entering the facility during that hour. Once your paperwork is in order, the temperament test has been completed, and your dog has been approved for services, you can start bringing them to daycare or make appointments for boarding services. Daycare doesn't require advanced bookings. I love that you can bring your dogs in and drop them off at the spur of the moment for a half or full day of play. This is so convenient for those days when you have extra work or maybe aren't feeling well enough to give your dog the exercise and attention he or she needs. My dog needs socialization on a weekly basis. She hangs out with humans daily all day, but benefits from the play and mental stimulation she gets from daycare. She always comes home relaxed and tired from her time at the facility. The facility is temperature controlled so your dog can safely enjoy play during the hot summer and cooler winter days. They do have access to an outdoor area too. It has high walls, so there is no chance of escape. You can pre-purchase packages of half day or full day passes to daycare. So far, I have just been paying as I go which is also acceptable. It's about a $40 saving if you buy the package, but you have to use it within 90 days. They take all credit cards. It's important to note that late pickups will be charged $1 per minute! That's a good incentive to make sure you arrive before they close at 7pm during the weekdays to collect your dog from daycare. I've booked a boarding reservation during the holidays. There is a deposit required during this time period because of the increased demand for services. They ask that you bring your dog's food measured out for each meal in ziplock bags. They provide everything else your dog needs for the overnight stay, but you are welcome to bring your dog's bed or blanket that provides familiar smells and will help your dog adjust easier. Also included in boarding is daycare. There is no extra charge for this ensuring your dog gets lots of exercise during the day so she can get a good night of sleep too. I'm delighted that I found this business. The staff have been super friendly in-person and on the phone. Their website has detailed information so you can get your questions answered, but call or stop by if you need additional information. I'm certain you will get the details you need and feel assured in your decision to leave your furry family member in their care.

I left my kids and my older dog, Georgia with my father in law for the weekend, but decided to treat Neymar, my 8 month old puppy, to a staycation at JPR. Based on the report card I received, the pictures that were posted, and how tired Neymar was when I picked him up five days later, he had an absolute blast! I swear - he was sad to leave when I drove him home! I'll definitely return for boarding... and perhaps even some doggy daycare too. Thanks to the fabulous staff at Jet Pet for taking good care of my pup!
