It meant so much knowing Butters was not only being well taken care of, but genuinely loved and treated like her own. Susie is very loving and responsible. My dogs adore her! We typically book her for live-in stays, but on occasion we also use her for drop in care. I always receive updates with photos and my dogs always appear relaxed and happy. It makes such a difference having the same person care for my pets, and gives me so much peace of mind. Lisa, the owner, is in tune with all her caregivers. Recently, our flight kept getting delayed and we ended up having to ask Susie to stay longer than anticipated. Once we landed, I let Susie know she could leave as we would be home soon. Before we got home I received an email from Lisa asking me to let her know we made it home so as our dogs were not left without care in the event something delayed us further. We had used other sitters before we found Pick of the Litter, and nothing compares to the care and communication we receive from them. I highly recommend!

She ended up spending two days at daycare here and I could not have been happier with the experience! Registration was super easy. I brought in her vaccination records, they got everything taken care of, and took her right back. They even fed her while she was there. The best review honestly came from Moose herself. When I picked her up after the first day, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a great time. When we came back the second morning, as soon as she realized where we were, her tail started going like crazy and she walked right up to the staff. That immediately made me feel good about leaving her again. Both days she came back to us happy and completely relaxed. Even my son looked at her and said, "she must've had a really good time, she's smiling" Finding a place you feel comfortable leaving your dog when you're traveling can be stressful, and they made it incredibly easy. Moose clearly loved it there, and that's about the best recommendation I can give. We would absolutely use them again if we're back in the area!

I wanted to make sure the place didn't store him in a small cage or crate and that they genuinely cared about the dogs. I did a tour prior to his first stay and I really appreciate that each "suite" is large and gives him plenty of room. They also separate the small and large dogs and have separate play areas both indoor and outdoor. I also like that they give the dogs time apart if needed and they genuinely care for their needs. The pricing is also very reasonable imo. The only downside is they tend to lose things so I don't recommend bringing anything super valuable or sentimental to an overnight stay since it might get misplaced or damaged.

I was referred to this business by a local Boston Terrier Facebook group. Their reviews were…read morestellar, so I reached out to them. I needed to board my pup while I went on vacation and passed their initial free assessment and complementary play date, filed his health records with them etc. A week later I dropped him off for his week of boarding. When I arrived home I quickly dropped off my luggage and immediately went to pick him up. Once I arrived, excited to see my little dude they brought him out. He was not himself. Not excited, and lethargic. I figured he was just tired from his week of playing with other pups. As soon as I put him in my car he fell asleep, and once home he did the same thing, which for a 6-month-old Boston Terrier is unheard of. The following day was the same, I chalked it up as he must have had a great time playing and was still exhausted. The next day he was extremely ill, coughing, diarrhea and weak so I rushed him to the Vet. Their diagnosis was an upper respiratory infection a fever and Kennel cough. My pup is completely vaccinated and was perfectly healthy when dropped off. I understand things happen, but this was infuriating to me. When I picked him up I was curious why he was just handed to me and shuffled me out the door, now I understand why. That same attitude was received when I called to inform them of his condition. The young lady just said "I'll tell the owner and hung up" and that was it. I wanted to like this place, but on top of their boarding fees, I now have medical bills due to their facility and lack of action when he was clearly sick while there, due to an illness he contracted while there, and hopefully, he recovers soon. The photo attached is him once loaded in the car after picking him up. Clearly not a 6 mo old Boston excited to see me after a week away. I am beside myself, and angry to say the least.

We take our Boxer Booker to Always Unleashed for daycare and for boarding. He loves it there! He…read moregets so excited when we pull in and can't wait to run out to the yard and play. We can hardly get his leash off, he's so eager to see friends. We love the live cameras in the yard and inside the hound lounge. It's so nice to be able to check on our fur baby and see what he is up to! One of the main reasons we love Always Unleashed is not only the live cameras, but they are "always unleashed!" They don't kennel the dogs. They all hang out together outside and inside. All the dogs seem calm because they don't have the pent up anxiety of being in a kennel outside of their home. They aren't barking all the time and agitated. They are hanging together as a group. The outside has a ton of misters and a large pool for the pups. They have lots of room to play. Our dog Booker has made friends with other dogs and it's so fun to see him playing and happy. He was boarded over his birthday this past year and they gave him special treats and extra attention. They sent us pictures and videos. They are currently under renovation, redoing the front office check-in space. It will be nice when it's all completed, but it's been nice they have stayed open during the renovation. This summer our flight was delayed flying home from Chicago and Shea was great letting us pick up Booker a little later. We didn't want to wait another day to see our baby! Another time we were stuck on the 17 in traffic because of an accident coming home from Flagstaff. They understand how important our fur baby is to us! Another time Booker got a hot spot on his paw and they were on the phone with me about it and how I wanted it treated. Then after he was home Shea followed up with me to see how he was doing. Booker always comes home happy and tired. Always Unleashed is a great place for day care or boarding, highly recommend.
