Great pastries and cakes. I have never been disappointed by food, service, nor setting. The Oprah cream cake is my families favorite.

Need something sweet, need something special or you just want a doughnut. I highly recommend this convenient and beautiful bakery. The service is fabulous and everything in the cases always looks delicious. I have to restrain myself so I don't over by because my eyes are definitely bigger than my stomach. Not sure what happened, but this used to be the best bakery in town. I ordered a chocolate cake, with pink icing and roses in shades of pink. Instead we got a yellow cake with pink and lavender roses. The cake tasted fine but we paid $50 and the order was wrong. When you call to order, the customer service is not always great. Some of the employees are nice but some have bad attitudes. Three stars for not getting our cake order right. read more

Servatii used to be a respectable 3 star mid donut. However they have gotten lazy. The staff had the enthusiasm and friendliness of the soggy parchment paper that absorbs their now wet donuts. I'm not sure when it happened but something changed. They are leaving their donuts and icing wet and soggy, something you won't find at 5 star donut shop. More for you cause I'm done with this shop, it no longer takes pride in the craft. read more

Ok, this place has consistently delicious everything. My favorites are the cheese pocket and the raspberry cheesecake. But they have great pretzels and cheese dip and cheese crowns and everything. The staff is courteous and friendly and they will hold a cheese pocket for you if you can ahead of time. However, all of this pales in comparison to the ambrosia I discovered this weekend! I pulled into a spot in front of their store at 4:03pm on a Sunday (they close at 4pm) and charged in (despite my husband's disapproval) since their "open" lift was still on. They advertised pineapple upside down cupcakes (ONLY available on weekends), and I risked being rude to get my hands on them. These are incredible!! They are sold in 6-packs (buy one pack per person who wants any) and are just perfectly moist and have the perfect pineapple to cake ratio. I'm going to eat the rest of my cupcakes after going home tonight, and will buy more this weekend! read more

Picked up a spinach quiche that was poor quality. Bottom crust was mushy and too much moisture in the bite. Tried cooking a bit longer to crisp the crust which was successful. But simply didn't like that the moisture content and lack of flavor. Wasn't worth the money read more

Used to Love their cakes, brownies, and cookies. Have been a long-time customer and the quality used to be terrific. The last few times we've purchased items they have not been very fresh. The icing on the cake was dry and crunchy. It wasn't worth the price. Note: be sure to know what you would like to order if you go in at 2:00 on a weekday. One of the women was not patient and will give you a hard time if you are on your phone texting a family member asking them what they would like. Servatii's is the place to go if you want a 'real' bakery. We order all our bday and celebration cakes here. Their chocolate icing is like no others, It's absolutely wonderful! Their fried danishes are a family favorite as well as their beautifully decorated cookies. I've been to many parties with Sams, Kroger, and other real bakery cakes and they don't come close to a Servatii's cake. No one can compete. Over the years we have ordered countless cakes and have never had a bad experience. Every cake is moist and fresh. Our guests always ask where we got our cake. Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, sometimes I feel like I don't even know you. I spent my most formative years living with you, but lately I feel like I'm discovering so many wonderful things about you that I should have known about way back in the day. Case in point: Servatii Pastry Shop. This local chain of bakeries/delis has been around for 50 years. I've gotten to know them through my boyfriend's mom, who is a fan, and I have resolved to stock up on their goodies whenever I'm in the area. So far my favorites include their salty rye bread. I'm normally not a fan of rye bread, but I could just eat it plain out of the bag. (In fact I did ... eat a few slices ... shortly after purchasing a loaf ... while still in my car.) I also love their little icing drop sugar cookies. Considering they change up the icing colors with the holidays, they are relevant and yummy at any time. (Because I know that I always like to make sure my cookies are relevant.) Servatii's shops are mostly in Cincinnati -- so I'll attribute that fact to why this Northern Kentucky-bred gal has been out of the loop. Can't wait to update this review as I eat more and more wonderful things from this local chain. read more

Love all the Servatiis locations, especially their extra sweet, curl-your- toes white/vanilla icing on their cupcakes and cakes. I always request my birthday cakes from Servatii, had a huge sheet cake with photos from throughout my husband's life displayed on it for his 40th birthday, & got our delicious wedding cake (complete with intricate design, different cake flavors & fillings & with a free 1st-year anniversary cake) from Servatii. I chose to review this site as I visited it most recently & they were giving out enough samples of cookies, and another one of their fantastic standouts, their soft pretzels, that I had a great snack. The pretzels are especially good paired with their beer cheese or garlic cheese spreads. And don't forget their donuts. This was a very cool place. Lot's of different cookie, cake, and pastry options as you would expect from a good bakery. They also have some things that you don't see most places. An opera creme cake comes to mind as well as a unique almost baklava like pretzel I bought. Honey and nuts on a big pretzel; who knew? My custard filled long john was delicious as well as our caramel coffee cake. They also have a few savory options like sandwiches and salads (hence the deli that they have in their title). It's not anywhere close to as much as their sweet options but that's ok. I can't wait to come back and try some more sweet goodness here. read more

When I worked in Erlanger our manager was amazing and would bring goodies from here all the time! The deserts are to die for and you can't go wrong with anything you get. Apparently there are several of this local bakery/deli chain in the Cincinnati area, but now there's finally a northern Kentucky location at Crestview Town Center. It's next to Dewey's Pizza in an small outer strip center on the Dixie Highway side of the center. I didn't notice the deli part or menu, but the small store is filled with baked goods: breads, donuts, cookies, pastries, elegant desserts, etc. I purchased a variety to go, including a couple of raspberry pastries, a chocolate iced brownie and an almond pretzel. The family pretty much fought over tastes of the various items. A few decorated cakes were available for take home and I know they take orders for personalized items. Don't know the individual prices, but total for the four items with tax were less than $4. read more

I ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for my husband's birthday. I used the online ordering option. That's so useful! I picked them up and of course had to add to my order. I purchased a party salted rye bread and a cinnamon coffee cake. The process was smooth and easy. We ate the coffee cake that morning. It's messy but who cares? It's a cinnamon goodness and very moist. The next day was party day. Yellow cake with chocolate icing. This was the moistest cake I have ever had. The icing, super dense and super chocolate. I ordered a basketweave cake a month in advance of our family Christmas dinner. Spent $60 and the one specification was no poinsettias. Went to pick up this cake at the Crestview Hills location and the cake was all red flowers, but according to the condescending and rude manager, who would not give her name, they were daisies. After waiting a month for this cake, which I have purchased at least 5 of these expensive cakes each year for Easter, Mother's Day, etc, the "manager's" solution was, "You don't have to take it. I will sell it in the store". Not sorry, not what can I do, no resolution. Rude, uncaring, condescending. If you want a speciality cake, go somewhere else, not the Servatiis in the Crestview Hills Town Center because you never know what you will get and the "manager" could care less. I am surprised Servatiis hires people like this and when you reach out to their home office, no one responds. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

Servatii has an excellent selection of pastries and treats. The donuts are delicious and their opera cream cake is to die for! They have fresh coffee in the mornings and the prices are reasonable for what they offer. The only (very) small drawback is that service is often a bit slow. I ordered 1/2 sheet cake for a baby shower on 8/10/19 for pickup on 8/17/19. I placed the order in person. I emailed picture of what I wanted on the cake if possible. In not possible then decorate in greens and yellows for a baby shower. I followed up on 8/11/19 to ensure that arework was received. The indicated yes, verbally on the phone and then I received a confirmation email it was received. I arrived on Saturday, 8/17/19 to pick up my order only to find it had not been placed. So I had no cake for the shower. I had to settle for 2 quarter sheet cakes already decorated (not for baby shower). read more

Picked up some pastries for a ospecial occasion dinner at home. I received friendly and helpful service in spite of there being several other customers in the store. I had some questions about the selections and the young woman was well informed about the products. I paid and took my sweets home. As far as the quality of the desserts I give them a strong B to B plus. I've been in the food biz for quite a few years, traveled a good bit and eaten my fair share of desserts. When I think of my favorite European style pastries, and hold Servatii in comparison I think the grade of B to B plus is honorable. Maybe just a bit too sweet for my taste, but that is pushing it. Freshness was good, but could have been better, one of the selections had a distinct refrigerator taste. I didn't yet try the bread, but I look forward to trying it soon. read more

My whole family enjoys the bakery. I always get the Tiramisu and it is very good. My wife and kids love the cookies and the pretzels.

I ordered a custom cake from them. I emailed a picture of the design I wanted for my granddaughters 1st birthday party. When I picked up the cake, I found the store very welcoming and full of customers. When they brought me the cake I almost cried, it was the most beautiful cake I ever saw. I believe this to be, currently, the only Servatii in Kentucky. I have only been here once and it was quite a great place. We were shopping in the Crestview Hills Shopping Centre and when my fiancee and I saw this, we had to get some of their butter cookies to snack on.
