They had some good deals, but only if you've signed up for their free membership. I could've saved $3 per bag of chips. However, I was too tired and lazy after my flight in, so I opted to pay the full retail price. It was easy and very convenient to pay for my items while using one of the self-checkout kiosks.

They have lots of sweet treats such as cookies and other delicious delectables. I went with a Kremer's Cordon Bleu Sandwich which came with melted Lorraine Swiss, roasted chicken, ham, and dijon mustard on a croissant. It was absolutely delicious with the meats especially standing out as being awesome. Unfortunately there isn't anywhere to sit and eat on site at Kremer's but there's a beautiful park across the street to sit and eat which is what we did. They have tons of other things I want to try from their store and we will definitely be back.

So any time I come up to the area I try somewhere that makes goetta. This was a nice neighborhood meat market that makes their own so i had to try it. It was pretty good. They do make it WITHOUT MSG, so if that stuff gives you a headache or if you have to watch your salt intake, they have an option for you! I bought a goetta, egg, and cheese sandwich and it was tasty. If I was nearby, I'd try it again. I also took a few pounds home and cooked it over the next week. Now, back to my search for goetta and on to the next butcher shop! ;)

The selection is nowhere near the depth of the larger mega Krogers that have sprung up recently, but there are times when I don't want to have to walk down 1/4 mile aisles. This Kroger allows me to get in and out in record time. I found some good deals on Luna and Clif* bars too! Cool. There is a Redbox DVD/Blu Ray box outside the front door. In the far right back corner there is a discount section. And lastly, when I was there, a cop was on duty near the front, which was probably not necessary (at least I hope), but who knows... Their alcohol selection is well stocked in the 40oz variety ;) and also has a giant poster warning about drinking while pregnant. Interesting and sad. The produce here is of the highest quality. The owner still picks out every box of produce uniquely from his vendors and distributors daily. There is a lot of time and effort that goes into picking the right produce for the season, and the process is repeated every morning by the owner. Only the best quality produce makes it to the shelf, and that which does not meet the high quality standards gets rejected to the markdown section; a great way to get deals on fresh produce you plan to use quickly. The sweet white corn, green beans, and cabbage from Michael's Farms in Urbana Ohio is absolutely UNBEATABLE....It is literally THE BEST SWEET CORN YOUR WILL EAT! Ask the owner when the Michael's Corn is available (usually mid June-late September) Also, the farm the owner sources his South Carolina peaches from is one of the best peach farms in the world. The Sugar Baby watermelons (with the black rine) are amazing. I can literally eat half of one in one sitting. Oh did I mention the prices? They are extremely competitive and usually match or beat big box store prices. The store itself is very clean and regularly receives 100% on health inspections. The deli prices are the best around, and the service you receive here is exceptional. Highly recommend for someone who needs good fresh food but doesn't want the hassle of crowded parking lots and busy aisles of Kroger and Walmart. Most of the salads at the deli are made fresh in house from scratch. Their catering options are great also. Trays are affordable and customizable. Only ripe fruit is used on fruit trays and bowls, and if not ripe or quality, it will not be used on your tray. Veggie trays are made fresh, never pre made, and always use crisp veggies. Every catering order, no matter how big or small, is prepped and made the day it goes out. Nothing is made in advance. They have an entire section dedicated to Windy Acres Nuts and Candy, a local company out of Wilmington Ohio specializing in old fashioned candy and custom mixed trail mixes and mixed nuts, dried fruits, etc. There is also a section dedicated to Colonel De Gourmet Spices!

While I was in the store I checked their plants if I can get a good deal, to my disappointment they still have a lot, but they seemed like they are in their death bed, and still full priced. They have knockout roses, but I doubt if it will survive once I replant it. So off I go to the produce looking for mango, yes they ha e it and it's priced reasonably .50 cents each, so of course I have to buy a lot! This mango is .99 cents each at Kroger. Since I am on that area I have a craving for sea food, and was very happy to see that WM even have out a sign that says "products of USA." Not true, please check majority of the products you buy to see where it's coming from. It's better to pay higher price rather than something that you don't know how it was raised or caught. The Salmon and tilapia were both marked "Product and Processed in China, not USA." The packaging says distributed by WM, AR.

Wright Walmart Super centers 3450 VALLEY PLAZA PKWY, FT WRIGHT, KY 41017 to get some lunch meat, bread, cheese, etc. I've been patronizing this Walmart for about 20 years, as this Walmart is on my way home, and the prices are reasonable. During my SELF Checkout- there was a (presumably a Walmart employee) lady, I couldn't tell if she was a Walmart employee because she did not have a name badge, or vest of any sort. I was trying to weigh some fruit or something. She kind of jerked my stuff around and looked at me funny and wouldn't talk to me. I ask her her name because she had no name badge, and she looked at me like I was weird or something. I only have one eye so it took me a little longer to self check out and I stoop and shake because of my severe scoliosis, and plates in my neck. So every time she deemed necessary, she came over and interrupted me and moved my things around. It's kinda like there was a language barrier? I guess she is maybe a DEI hire, she seemed to be Hindu or something of the sort. The red dot on her forehead gave her away, I didn't know Walmart introduced spiritual awakening, or prayer at their stores. I was confused. I have several Hindu friends, but that's not the point, it was the language barrier I guess? But no Walmart name tag, i've finished up my order and tried to use my debit card, the computer screen said 29 items, so now the machine wouldn't let me complete my checkout, the computer needed an associate approval. The lady came over and scanned some kind of card from her pocket (name badge?) and them a video played of the two cans of sockeye red salmon that she scanned herself? I was then able to pay for my food. I guess she came over to me for five times during the checkout . She did try to be helpful. I think but demeanor is everything when there's a language and name badge barrier. However after completing my checkout, I did advise the manager (in private) that she had no name tag and she was NOT very cordial, the manager of Walmart explained to me, that Walmart has a policy that all employees MUST wear Walmart name tags. I also explained to the manager how rude this lady was. About jerking my produce around .... It seems this whole thing was non conforming to American standards. I'm done with Walmart.
