I think Busken Bakery speaks for itself. I came to this Busken Bakery to pick up our holiday Schencken. There are several locations available for pickup. Last year I went to the Busken on Madison. This location has to be the busiest during the holidays. Parking was a challenge. Figuring out where to go for pickup was a challenge. For these reasons I decided to try the Highland Heights location. I'm so glad I did. First, getting there was a breeze! Get your car onto 471 and go until it ends and you're pretty much there. I used GPS to get there, but getting there was so simple, no GPS was needed to get home (we live in Delhi). If you are a once-a-year Busken shopper and Highland Heights is reasonably close, I recommend picking up there. I was in and out in nothing flat. read more

Such a classic old-timey bakery with delicious donuts, cookies, cakes, and pastries. You can't go wrong with Buskin for your early-morning run! The tea-cookies and smiley face cookies are classics - always fresh and so delicious. The donuts are some of the best in the area, and they offer regular-size and mini ones! They have breads, cakes, and cookies packaged up to buy and take to-go and a counter full of all the goodies. Grab an OJ, chocolate milk, or coffee too! They have it all. Bought two cinnamon rolls at Highland Heights 6am Saturday 7-6-2024. (Your menu online showed $2.50; you charged $3.95) Very disappointed, stale, cold, threw away half. Tasted like they had been frozen. I expect fresh baked products at 6am from a bakery. If I wanted stale product I would go to Kroger. There is a saying in business; "there is only one chance to make a good first impression". You failed. read more

We went on a Saturday late in the morning and there was still great options to pick from. We got an assortment of donuts and pastries! We were particularly excited to see a glazed chocolate cake donut... they were delicious! The cinnamon rolls were huge! Everything was delicious. I usually don't stop in the morning for breakfast but when I do I usually find myself at buskins for a donut or muffin. I loved the cranberry muffin I had the other day and all the donuts are good. Cookies are always amazing. I recommend basically anything... Sorry it's just all good! read more

I was out running my dad's weekly errands with him. My dad wears hearing aids and has regular maintenance appointments at a nearby shop in this small shopping plaza. I participated in the the Hamilton County Cincinnati Public Library Summer Reading program and one of the prizes to choose from was a coupon for a package of free Busken Bakery iced cookies. Upon entering the store the only choice was the yellow iced smile faced ones. Apparently no other designs are in season in August. This is a medium sized store. The employee was friendly. We were only in the store for a couple of minutes and walked out with a package of 2 cookies. My dad took them home to eat later. He told me that these were soft in texture with an appropriately sweet amount of icing on top. With the traffic light it is very easy to pull off the main road and into this shopping plaza. I'm a big fan of baked goods in general. I was pumped that I lived so close to this place. However, I think a year passed before I actually went inside because it was always closed. Part of that's my fault-- I went several times, like an idiot, at the same time on the same day... but it was never convenient otherwise. One day, I finally got in before they locked up. I wasn't impressed. The cookies, cakes, and brownies didn't look appealing to me. Nothing did. I couldn't place my finger on it but I knew I didn't want any of it. A bakery should have your mouth watering from the moment you walk in. Like one of the other reviewers, I took my business to Servatii's instead. I was completely satisfied with the amount of mouth watering that occurred when I arrived at that place! read more

Yeah, their hours suck.. but if you can get in while they're open the cookies are delicious! The wedding I went to this past weekend gave out some soft backed Busken cookies on our way out from the reception and OMG they were delicious. Love, love, love this place.. This is about the only place to go for donuts in the Highland Heights / Cold Spring area. They usually aren't that busy, so I can stroll in on a Friday just before 7:30 and get stocked up on donuts for me and my coworkers. There is a huge selection of donuts, and they're all fresh and delicious. The main issue is that they are a bit pricey. I think the value is still pretty good regardless. Be sure to come in and grab an iced sugar cookie every once in a while! read more

There was a line almost out the door when I was there so they must be doing something right. The super nice young lady that was working there asked me about my day and had a smile on her face which made me smile all day. Coffee and donuts are always fresh and I got a box of cookies and a doggie donut. I also picked up a gluten free cookie for my niece. I'll be back! read more
